Recreate an Alice In Wonderland inspired tea party in #DIYThePart with MagicalGirlMaya.
I love all things Alice in Wonderland, and as this will be the theme of my niece’s 7th birthday this week, I was incredibly inspired to pick out a bunch of really great projects for it. There’s something about the whimsy of throwing a tea party that really just speaks to me. Obviously, my tea party includes cocktails and it’s suitable for seven year olds. If you don’t have to worry about that, then enjoy your booze and your tiny cakes!

My favorite thing about my space is that it has a door! I have two toddlers so the fact that I can stay up late working on a project, and then leave everything as it is and close the door during the day is a life saver!
Recreate the Parisian look of legendary fashion designer Coco Chanel in #DIYTheLook with Kara from The Dressed Aesthetic.
I LOVE Chanel. I love her vibe, her clean lines and simplicity. I love that she was a hardcore business woman who established her own couturier and created one of the most stunningly successful clothing lines of the day (which still persists today). But mostly, I love her attitude. She had a philosophy about fashion, about the way women should dress to celebrate themselves.

We head to San Francisco to meet Twinkie Chan who loves to crochet foodie-themed accessories!
How did you find CO+K and why did you join?
It's been so long I can hardly remember! I believe that CO+K asked if I might appear in an issue of Snippets, and then I got to meet Cat and Tom at my crochet book signing in London in 2011!
What projects are you currently working on?
Right now, I'm focusing on prepping and refining patterns for some of my older projects, like strawberry scarves or gingerbread house tissue box cozies. People have been requesting them forever, and I just need to buckle down and spend some time getting them ready for my Etsy shop! I would also love to devote more time to keeping my YouTube channel updated with fresh crochet content.Read the rest of the interview »

Come behind the scenes at Crafty Little Gnome for a #CraftRoomTour and see Adrienne's craft room in Northern Washington.
There is lots of natural light coming in through the window and the room is a decent size so I have space to set up my tables, take pictures and store supplies in the closet.
