My space is definitely organized chaos! Ha! We just moved into a new home, so it is definitely a work in progress. What I love the most is how much square footage I have!

Tell us about your space

Our basement was unfinished when we moved in. To save money, we bought a paint sprayer and just painted the whole thing white to brighten it up. We also put down inexpensive sticky-back tiles with a faux marble finish. It looks great, and has a fun industrial vibe!

What have you done to make your space cosy, beautiful or inspiring?

I hung a few white paper lanterns when we first set up my kids craft table in our space, and the collection has just grown! Now we have almost thirty paper lanterns, honeycomb balls, and paper fans hanging from the ceiling. It's very pretty and inspiring!

How do you keep organized?

I love vintage finds, so I have lots of antique mason jars and vintage jello molds that hold favorite supplies.

Any tips & tricks for organising supplies?

If it's not pretty, it won't inspire you to stay organized! I have always felt like investing in fun containers encourages me to stay more organized.

Which are your favourite possessions and are there any of your own creations on display?

I have started collecting vintage scissors, and I actually use them all the time in projects and photography. One particular pair is heavy metal pinking shears, and they work far better than anything new on the market.

How do you organise your inspiration and ideas?

I have a sketchbook that travels with me everywhere I go. I am always doodling and writing down inspiration!

Where do you look for inspiration?

I try to let my surroundings inspire me. If I want to plan a party, I will think about the space I am going to host it in, and let the surrounding color palette or furniture inspire me. I will often search magazines or go online to find inspiration to help develop those ideas.

If you had three wishes, what would you do to make it the dream space?

I have so many goals for my craft room! I am getting a sink installed, working on a fun gallery wall, and I want to make a large frame display where I can hang inspirational photos.
