How would you describe your style?

Classic with a twist. I like to take high street fashion and make it my own by adding the little things that I make and quirky finds from independent artists.

What's your favourite piece in your wardrobe?

Probably my maxi dresses. I have quite a collection and I think they are the most versatile things I own.

Who are your style icons?

At the risk of sounding like a complete cliche, I do love Audrey Hepburn for her timeless class. I love Talitha Getty and her beautiful boho vibe. My mother is a huge style icon as are the women I see every day on the street, rocking their own looks with confidence.

Do you have any favourite designers?

I try to support Australian Fashion designers when my budget meets the sales. I love Akira Isogawa, Zimmerman and Toni Maticevski.

Where are your favourite places to shop for new clothes?

Lots of places. I like high street stores for basics and bargains and markets and second hand stores for the statement pieces.

Do you make or customise your outfits?

I love nothing more and I think it allows you to inject some personality into your clothes.

Do you have any great tips for mixing up and personalising an outfit?

Don't be afraid. Just play -- they are just clothes after all. Make a date with your wardrobe and spend an afternoon playing and mixing things you wouldn't ordinarily.
