It's flexible & I basically use the entire house for my work space- depending on what type of art, craft or design project I'm working on at the moment.

Tell us about your space

I start most of my art & craft projects creating drawings at my dining room table & then usually move to the living room area to do my computer/digital art & design work. I start many of my craft projects like macramé & embroidery in the craft room (which is a spare bedroom & where I keep & organize all my craft supplies & tools).

What have you done to make your space cosy, beautiful or inspiring?

Putting up colorful images of my work & the work of other artists/crafters that inspire me on my walls. I'm feel most prepared to get to work when my space is clean & orderly so I do a lot of organizing.

How do you keep organized?

By regularly cleaning out my supplies & decluttering my work space.

Any tips & tricks for organising supplies?

I like using all clear plastic containers so I can see where my materials are & I can easily transport them from one room to another in my house without the kitties getting into them.

Which are your favourite possessions and are there any of your own creations on display?

I like collecting odd little objects like sea shells, pine cones, old pieces of plumbing, dried flowers- interesting little things that I can draw. I keep framed macreme & embroidery pieces and sometimes drawings that I've made on display.

How do you organise your inspiration and ideas?

I used to keep a lot of paper clippings from magazines etc. But now I mainly organize my ideas digitally on Pintrest or I create mood boards with ideas in Photoshop. I also use my sketchbooks to keep inspiring ideas.

Where do you look for inspiration?

Sometimes I look to nature or food for inspiration. Lately I've been looking on Instagram & Pintrest a lot.

If you had three wishes, what would you do to make it the dream space?

Get built-in cabinets & shelves in my craft room, Get an antique wooden drafting table, add some soft things like a couch, large area rug & drapes to the craft room
