How would you describe your style?

My style is preppy with an edge. I love dresses, flats, and collared shirts, but I also have 4 (and counting) tattoos, a conch piercing in my left ear, and I occasionally dye my hair purple.

What's your favourite piece in your wardrobe?

My favorite piece in my wardrobe is the dress I wore to my reception, but that's not technically part of my wardrobe because it is something I've only worn once. As far as functional pieces go, I really love, and constantly wear, a cream short-sleeved top. The neckline and sleeves are embellished with large jewels.

Who are your style icons?

I absolutely love everything Zooey Deschanel wears.

Do you have any favourite designers?

Yes! My favorite designers are Kate and Laura Mulleavy (of Rodarte), Betsey Johnson, Michael Kors, and Kate Spade.

Where are your favourite places to shop for new clothes?

J.Crew and Gap.

Do you make or customise your outfits?

I usually add personality to my outfits through my accessories. I've made my own bracelets specifically to go with certain looks. I have also embellished some tops with jewels and decorative patches.

Do you have any great tips for mixing up and personalising an outfit?

Go shopping in your closet and try thinking of new ways to wear what you already have. Put a t-shirt or crop-top on over a dress, and the dress transforms into a skirt. Put a high-waist skirt on over a body-con dress, and the dress becomes a tucked-in top.
