My particular way of working I developed when at home looking after my two, now adult, children, Leaving Art school in the sixties I had intended to become a painter, but a practical necessity to make heavy curtains led me to composing images in cloth and develop a love of folk art. By chance I was offered the opportunity to exhibit my work and continued to do so to this day.
We head to Swindon to meet Caz whose current crafting love is felt!
How did you find CO+K and why did you join?
I found CO&K while looking for ideas and new projects to make. I thought the site was fantastic as it was the first site I had come across were I could share my own patterns with other crafters. I had always loved making patterns and this was the first site I ever used to share them.
What projects are you currently working on?
I am currently working on a collection of large felt unusual animals. So far I’ve made a Tortoise and Anteater and in the process of designing an Aardvark. I also like to work on smaller side projects including a unicorn hanging decoration and stacking elephant family. I would also like to make a range felt birds.Read the rest of the interview »
