Cheryl recreates the costume of Hermione Granger from Harry Potter for today's Halloween look.
Hermione Granger has always been one of my favorite characters - she has ideal characteristics such as intelligence, courage, and wit. While being all of these, she still manages to be put together effortlessly. She isn't concerned with looks, but she always looks good. Her natural face, bold eyebrows, and that wavy hair help to make the grey pleated skirt and Gryffindor cloak she is used to wearing into more of a statement. Though her outfit is simple, she is so much more.
Helen creates a bat inspired costume for today's Halloween DIY The Look.
I love bats, I love the way they flit across the sky in a seemingly random manner and at such a speed that you can never get a good look at them. They're mysterious, cute and a tiny bit scary...I'd like to pay homage to these nocturnal acrobats by creating a really cool bat costume. You could dress all in black and hang upside down but that could be a little difficult and give you a headache. Alternatively you could piece together a much more imaginative costume; you'd need a cool pair of wings and some neat ears of course and then you'd have to decide whether to go for a mask or some smoky eye make up...

TheSewingMaven recreates the 80's look of Madonna in Desperately Seeking Susan.
Madonna has been a style icon since the 80’s. I love how she stays current and creates memorable trends that are femme noir.
Oxford – the ‘City of Dreaming Spires’ – is steeped in history and knowledge. It has spectacular architecture, glorious open spaces, and its own unique brand of eccentricity. It is probably best known for its university, and, with so many students living here, there’s an atmosphere of new beginnings, dreams and aspirations…
Markee recreates the vintage look of Joan from Mad Men for today's Halloween DIY The Look.
I love Joan's style because she is sexy and confident in a fully retro wardrobe. She always looks smart, and knows exactly how to dress for her figure and complexion. I love that every aspect of her style is well thought out, from head to toe, she is a inspiration for any modern office gal who wants to exude that 60s secretary vibe.
