How would you describe your style?

I think my style is pretty versatile. Sometimes I dress preppy, sometimes I dress girly, and other times I like a little grunge. The truth is, I like so many different styles, I don't want to commit to dressing one particular way. I really enjoy mixing and matching pieces from different categories to balance each other out, such as wearing a utility jacket over a delicate lace dress.

What's your favourite piece in your wardrobe?

Oh man, that's a hard one! The answer to this question changes quite often, but I would say that right at the moment my cutoff denim shorts are my favorite. I have worn them over and over again this summer. A close second would be my denim jacket.

Who are your style icons?

I love the way Julia Engel dresses from Gal Meets Glam. She looks chic in everything she wears. My other style icons are Kate Middleton for her classic, timeless style and Rachel Bilson because she is laid-back and fashion-forward at the same time.

Do you have any favourite designers?

I like Kate Spade, Michael Kors, and Tory Burch a lot.

Where are your favourite places to shop for new clothes?

My favorite place to shop for new clothes is Nordstrom because they have everything! I also shop at Gap, Old Navy, Anthropologie and J. Crew.

Do you make or customise your outfits?

Unfortunately, I do not have the skills to make my own clothes but I do like to distress my own denim when I feel they are getting old and boring.

Do you have any great tips for mixing up and personalising an outfit?

Don't be afraid to mix pieces from different styles to create a unique look. One of my favorite things to do is mix polished pieces with more edgy pieces for something unexpected.

Which other fashion blogs do you love to read?

I read Gal Meets Glam, Cupcakes & Cashmere, Kendi Everyday, Poor Little It Girl, and Crystaline Marie
