Mix a Cucumber Caiprioska, Copacablueberry, Olmec’s Revenge & Sazerac cocktail with The Ball & Biscuit in Indianapolis, Indiana.

How did you get started?

We started on July 1, 2010 and have now been open for 5 years. We were the first craft cocktail bar in Indianapolis and formed a staff that was passionate about bringing classic cocktails and great music back to the great city of Indianapolis. Our original founders, Zachari Wilks and Trevor Belden partnered up to create a concept that would encourage the city to expand their cocktail knowledge and bring the forgotten craft of mixology to the city.

Where are you located?

We are located on Massachusetts Avenue in downtown Indianapolis across from the historic Stout's Shoes and next door to Bazbeaux Pizza.

What are your specialities?

We have many cocktail/ food favorites. Our Hand-Picked Bourbon Old Fashioned, Sazerac and Cucumber Caiprioska are 2 of our most popular cocktails and our Artichoke Dip, Bacon on a Stick and Cheese Plates tantalize the taste buds.

What's your personal favorite thing on the menu?

My personal favorite thing on the menu at the moment is a cocktail called The Garden Snake. It consists of Cabrito Reposado Tequila, St. Germain, mango juice, green tomato juice, lemon juice, simple syrup and Kosher salt.

What's on the stereo?

We play an assortment of artists that we personally select. Earlier hours it's chill and later on in the evening we amp it up a bit. We don't play top 40 artists but we do play an eclectic set each night.

Where else should we visit in your area?

I would recommend visiting Libertine (also located on Mass Ave). They are another craft cocktail bar and they do a wonderful job.

Do you host any special events?

We host different features each week:
Monday is Industry night
Tuesday we allow guests to come in with their own vinyl and we play them
Thursday we do 1/2 price bottles of rose
Sunday we feature Micheladas, Bloody Marys and Bubbly

Is there anything else you'd like us to know?
