Features

I’m a Portuguese illustrator, currently living in Lisbon with my boyfriend and my cat. I like to draw cat ladies wearing colorful outfits and some of my inspiring fictional characters of literature/ cinema. Apart for being an illustrator I’m also a lawyer.

Have you always been creative and artistic?

I’m an only child, so I did spend a lot of time amusing myself drawing and painting. This was always my favorite away to express myself and spend my time.

How would you describe the style of your work?

Inspired by vintage clothing, literature and cinema, my art work is retro and thoroughly modern at the same time. I try to add to my illustration whimsical and delicate environments, confident girls with a fashion sense.

What’s in your pencil case and what’s your favorite tool?

You can find in my pencil case different types of pencils, mechanical pencils, eraser, ink pens, dip pen, different sizes of brushes a and copic ciao markers. I’m a very enthusiast of watercolors and I use them most of the time.

Who is your favorite superhero?

I’d be catwoman, I love her style!

If you could have one super power what would it be?

I'd love to become invisible sometimes.

Where do you look for inspiration?

I can get inspiration from my daily routine with my cat, instagram, fashion blogs, cinema, some literature character that fascinates me or even from some youtube channels.

Who are your favorite artists or comic book authors?

I love Gaelle boissonnard, Margaux Motin and Penelope Bagieu.
