I would love to attend this party because it looks so glam and opulent, it makes you want to throw on a set of pearls and become a vintage socialite.

We chat to Kristin, give you a chance to win the book and learn how-to make Mosaic Flower Pots & Hanging Embroidery Hoop “Lanterns”.
My family and I live in a wooden cape-style farmhouse with a large center chimney built in 1751 in western Massachusetts. I grew up in a family of 5 sisters and have been sewing, stitching, knitting, and crocheting forever. Color is my thing and I love to decorate my home with textiles and objects I have made and collected. My husband Mark, our teenage daughter Julia, and I also raise 400 sheep and sell our lamb at local farmers markets. I was a Creative Director at Classic Elite Yarns for 16 years and am the author and illustrator of 12 books, mostly about knitting and embroidery. Crafting a Colorful Home is my first interior decorating book and I loved doing it.
Ashly recreates the stylish office of Leslie Knope from the set of Parks and Recreation.
Leslie Knope's office isn't so much stylish, modern or cool, but definitely adorable and quirky. Her character spends a lot of time in her office compiling cute custom binders, having witty conversations and eating JJ's diner waffles with extra whip cream. Here are some projects that Leslie would definitely recommend just from seeing her work space.

The best thing about living in Brighton is the variety of things here. There is a shop to buy almost anything. There are the big chain shops in Churchill square and the laines have lots of independent shops selling lots of things. There are also several tourist attractions that are great fun.
