You can't go wrong with a gift you can eat and there's no better place to look for that perfect something than at the Foodies Festival Christmas. We headed along to the festival in Edinburgh a few weeks ago for #CraftInTheCity and came back filled with ideas, food and drinks. Inspired by the amazing gin samples on offer at the festival, we've mixed up a mulled gin & tonic with Daffy's Gin.

This seasons Foodies Festival Christmas was held at the EICC in Edinburgh with hundreds of vendors selling and serving food, drinks and gift ideas, perfect for the holidays.

Some of our favourite gift ideas from the show included a mustard making kit from Marvellous Mustard, heart shaped roasting pans from Le Creuset, Kin Toffee Vodka, a box of macaroons from Mademoiselle Macaron and a Grow Your Own Gin Garden Kit from Plant N Grown.

We were lucky enough to catch a cooking demonstration with Flora from the Great British Bake Off, who was baking a cheesecake.

Our mouths were watering after the demonstration but luckily there were dozens of places to eat and our friends at The Crema Caravan treated us to a Crema Catalana creme brulee which we'll be sharing the recipe for early next year.
