I am a self taught part time artist living in Norway. I love to draw and I draw both pieces made to order as well as cards for sale at a local shop.
I make gift tags, albums, guest books, personalized cards and pictures,- whatever comes my way!

I am dreaming of writing and illustrating a childrens book, as well as getting my own line of stamps.

Have you always been creative and artistic?

I have always been creative, loved to draw, paint, remodel and take pictures. When I was little I wanted a say in decorating and redecorating my room and I constantly wanted new crayons and markers,- begging my 9 year older sister to show me how to draw. I even made my father draw ships :)

How would you describe the style of your work?

My style is colorful, non realistic and happy. Characters with big eyes and lots of vibrant colors. I like to keep it simple.

What’s in your pencil case and what’s your favorite tool?

I always carry my small pencil case and a sketch book with me, wherever I go. My pencil case contains a set of refillable black copic multiliners, two pencils, a rubber and a pencil sharpener. All I need on the go!

I could not live without a paper cutter.

Who is your favorite superhero?

I love cats, so my favorite superhero has to be Catwoman! I kind of see Care Bears and My little pony as superheroes too,- bringing joy to the world. Gotta love that!

If you could have one super power what would it be?

Omg, that`s a difficult question! I think I would like to be able to fly. I would love to see the world and visit my friends and family who is spread around the globe.

Where do you look for inspiration?

All over! I get inspired by Pinterest, all kinds of animals, other artists, trends and childrens characters.

Who are your favorite artists or comic book authors?

I don`t think I have any favorite artists, I mainly like piesces and styles, without really knowing their origin (that`s a shame, I know). But I like the work of Dick Bruna (Miffy), Suzy Ultman, Mark Ryden and Isabelle Sællstrøm.
