How would you describe your style?

Honestly, my style is pretty much eclectic. I wish I had just one set style, as it would probably be easier to explain myself, but I do tend to gravitate towards bold colors and colorful patterns. I'm a bit of a character so I'll wear a 50's inspired dress one day, and modern structured blazer and trousers the next. It all depends on my mood and which century I feel like living in that day!

What's your favourite piece in your wardrobe?

I'm currently loving the Green High-Rise Charlie Trousers from Anthropologie. They fit perfectly, and it's not every day I can say that about green pants!

Who are your style icons?

Mindy Kaling is at the top of my list. She's fearless when it comes to wearing bright colors and patterns. Do other bloggers count? I love Emma and Elsie's styles from the blog A Beautiful Mess too.

Do you have any favourite designers?

I'm a huge fan of Rachel Zoe. I'll forever wear large over-sized sunnies (sunglasses) inspired by her. Her 70's inspired look and fashion line is to timeless. I die!

Where are your favourite places to shop for new clothes?

My perfect day of shopping would include a stop at Anthropologie for a unique bohemian top, then Banana Republic for a modern structured blazer or trouser, then end at H&M, forever 21 or a thrift store for some affordable accessories. But I can't deny my love for everything ModCloth...so then there's that!

Do you make or customise your outfits?

I was recently gifted a sewing machine so I've started making headbands and I can't wait to make full outfits. Before now I've loved making my own broaches and small accessories to outfits.

Do you have any great tips for mixing up and personalising an outfit?

There's no better way than to show off your own personal style than to add a DIY accessory or two! Weather it be a hat or headband you made yourself, as long as you love it and feel comfortable in it anything goes!

Which other fashion blogs do you love to read?

The Zoe Report is my favorite go-to fashion and beauty site because it's always on trend. The Dainty Squid has some great tips on retro looks and DIY hair color. The Stori Book has tons of modern style looks and fashion tips.
