We head to Plumas Lake, California to go behind the scenes of Gluesticks and tour blogger Brandy's lovely craft room.

I love that this space combines my favorite colors, lots of organizational spaces and is functional! It isn't just a pretty room :)

Tell us about your space

My craft room is downstairs in our 4th bedroom in Plumas Lake, California. It's an office, craft room, occasional guest room and I share it with the kids - it's their craft room too! I do a lot of paper crafting in here with my cricut on the fold out table from my Craft Box. The kids do a lot of crafts in here as well.

What have you done to make your space cosy, beautiful or inspiring?

I made a custom window valance, added a mirror and artwork and some fun photo accents.

How do you keep organized?

My craftbox is the biggest organizational piece in the room. Without it the room wouldn't look as finished and I would have boxes and totes everywhere.

Any tips & tricks for organising supplies?

Smaller drawers make things easier to find. I love having lots of small spaces to keep my embellishments, notions, etc. Instead of keeping them in a large tote and having to rummage around to find things.

Which are your favourite possessions and are there any of your own creations on display?

How do you organise your inspiration and ideas?

Pinterest and my Day Planner :)

Where do you look for inspiration?

My ideas generally come out of necessity. If I need a baby shower gift, if one of the girls need a new dress or skirt, if I need to make a birthday gift for someone. That's when the wheels get turning. Sometimes I'll see something at a store and think "I can make that myself!" and will use the store bought version as an inspiration.

If you had three wishes, what would you do to make it the dream space?

1) I would love to have an area for a large work table.
2) I would love to have hard floors instead of carpet for little spills like glue (ahem, thank you 2 year old :)
3) More walls pace to display kids creations.
