We meet the green fairy in this week's Cocktail Hour, as we experiment with a bottle of La Fée Absinthe Parisienne. A spirit loved by writers, poets and artists, it didn't take us long to be inspired with cocktail ideas.


Classic: Death In The Afternoon

We sweeten up Ernest Hemingway's classic cocktail of absinthe and champagne with homemade rose & lavender sugar cubes.

Twist: White Fairy

An absinthe inspired version of a White Russian, this twist combines the Green Fairy with vanilla vodka, coffee liqueur, creme de cacao blanc, cream and milk.

Unique: Absinthe Laced Cheesecake

The aniseed flavour of absinthe works well in desserts, so we used our bottle of La Fee to make a unique and indulgent dark chocolate cheesecake.
