DIY Spiked Vest

Recreate the look with Alice's Diy Tutorial Spiked Vest:

How would you describe your style?

I find it complicated to describe my style as I think I am in a never ending evolution. I like wild prints and bright colours, but I will wear black form head to toe if one morning I feel like it. I never wear the same exact outfit twice, I challenge myself to be creative!  I can never choose what I am going to wear the day before. I never know how I am going to feel the next morning! :)

What's your favourite piece in your wardrobe?

I couldn't possibly choose one…. I have three items I would wear all day everyday! First my DIY dip died denim jacket. I wear it as often as I can, it jazzes up every outfit! Second this Monki skirt I bought while on holiday in Holland when I was visiting my friend Noema. And third I would say my JC Litas in Black velvet, no need to explain why I love these bad boys so much ; ) What I like best of these three items is how easy it is to dress them up or down, hurrah! for versatile items of clothing! :) A perfect outfit would be on in which I would wear these three items together! :)

Who are your style icons?

My style is always changing, currently I'm admiring:

Kaelah always mixing her tattoos and piercings with cute dresses, make her style so unique and inspiring!

Katie always looks perfect for any daytime occasion

Elsie and Emma. They always look so cute and simple, yet gorgeous!

These three bloggers are the living proof that you don't have to spend loads of money to look great!

Do you have any favourite designers?

I am not very into high end fashion, just for DIY inspiration… I like clothes and shoes, but not "fashion", does that make sense? I feel more like fashion is something that is everywhere, inside each one of us, more than an industry. That being said, Dolce and Gabanna always created amazing accessories and Missoni has the most amazing patterns ever!

Where are your favourite places to shop for new clothes clothes?

My absolute favourite shop is called Blanco Suite, which has the most perfect items ever. I really been that the designers in that shop live inside my head! And Monki, although there are no shops in Spain. I buy most of my clothes on sale, so I can really make the most out of my budget!

Do you make or customise your outfits?

I sew myself little bits and pieces and customize as many items as I can. It's a great way to express your personality without spending too much cash. A few studs, some bright paint or some scraps of fabric can make wonders!

Do you have any great tips for mixing up and personalising an outfit?

Step out of your comfort zone! Mix like crazy. Sit in front of your wardrobe and start trying clothes on, without forgetting the accessories. Try different combinations and take pictures of those outfits you like most. This is a great way of making sure you don't forget about any items and also a good idea for having some ideas or at least a starting point for a special outfit. It has also happened to me that something looks great in the mirror, but horrid in photos and the other way around. So play with this! If you really think that purple and yellow were meant to be kept apart, or that you shouldn't wear polkadots with checks, try them on yourself

Thanks Cut Out and Keep for having me around, it's been a huge pleasure!
