Well, I am new to this site, but so far it seems pretty awesome! However I desperately need to vent. Yesterday I worked on my Bride of Frankenstein Doll and everything was going great... It was a Monday and I know.. I should have known better. Of course "good" only lasted for a while... It was the 1st day back to school, The kids didn't get off their bus until FIVE... so I sat in the 100 + heat (no shade) for TWO hours... Ugh... Finally, they got home... My son left his book bag on the bus! After that my husband had to work late... only to find out afterward that his Mother had another heart attack and is now in the ER and in critical condition... They said they didn't think she'd make it through the night, BUT we haven't heard the worse yet and it's the following day, so we are all hoping that she is going to make it... Worst Monday in a long time. But today is Tuesday... We got my sons book bag back, and my mother is going to let me borrow her sewing machine to get the feel of it before I buy one for myself.  Still no word on my Mother-in-law... hoping "no news is good news". I have my crafts to keep my hands and mind busy and for that I am so grateful because if I didn't I know I'd be a mess! I even managed to clean up the house a little bit. Now I am working on my 1st "How To" for COK and hope that it turns out well.  For anyone that actually read this... Thanks and sorry I am so whiny. Have a great day!
