Money makes the world go round... unfortunately the husband and I don't have any at the moment. The cat had to have an operation, 'the chop' as it were, which rather dented the fundage this month. An expected £40 turned into an unexpected £75 and all of a sudden we're finding ourselves a fornight away from payday with only enough to pay the rent and the rest of the bills... However, there's a silver lining to this cloud! I'm loaded up with swaps (and have scraped enough together for postage *phew*) and I'm finding innovative ways to use up my stash. More importantly I'm upcycling, recycling and reusing. Thanks to cutoutandkeep I don't seem to look at anything like it's rubbish anymore; EVERYTHING is a potential craft material! I saw a very interesting project elsewhere on teh webs last night whilst working from home - upcycling old and used up magazines into painting canvasses, I'm nearly set to give it a go - roll on this rainy weekend, I say! Finally, I need to find my niche I've decided. I want to make things and sell things for people to enjoy. I'm not looking at making huge money, just a little bit to take the edge off. Any ideas, anyone? Love, love x
