Newgirl - It may, everyone's skin is different! For me, I don't have very oily skin, and I don't have a very big acne problem (I assume that's what you're talking about). So I use this scrub at night, and then use an acne pad. Olive oil is generally not good for acne prone skin.. You could try instead of using olive oil using honey, which will also work (it just might be a little sticky).
