I figure it will all be trial and error from here on out when i start sewing. It is not going to all come to me in a day that is for sure! Yeah I think I will post it if I ever make it! :D
Very awesome indeed! I want to make a mini top hat but I need to organize my supplies, there aren't a lot of things I can do until they are organized... which will take quite some time..
It is easier to position the domino on the paper where you want it before you cut it too much and then cut it so you don't have to worry about it not being exactly right/ cutting too small. At least I find that works better for me. These are cool. I never thought of making them into magnets before. Looks like I will be doing some today! :D
Putting a ribbon on it to hang or something. I need some ways of displaying them as I have a lot and would like to show them off (mostly pins, brooches are fairly recent thing I have started to collect
Though I bet if you were to glue the felt into the frame instead of on the glass it could be used for the pins with the backings that you take off. I kind of collect brooches and pins, lol.
Haha, not a problem, just came across this again and now I am left wondering why I haven't given this a try yet! I must try something similar! I don't think I have musical note stamps but can try this with something else :D
I will check out a few places, i would love to try this exactly as you have made it if I can. Ah nice Australia! I live in Canada and hope one day to visit Australia. That is beside the point and a little off topic. I suppose I will just have to do a bit of a scavenge hunt for them :D
Does this still taste as good without the pine nuts? That might be the only thing I have q problem with finding.. other nuts seem plentiful but rarely see pine nuts.
Cool idea, but I am guessing that it has to be a sort of thin fabric if I plan on putting tealights(they are the battery operated ones, wouldn't want to set the fabric/glue on fire) inside of them. I need to save up more jars in either to do this project! :D
Ah crap! Wished I had seen this before! This would have been perfect to make for a gift this year! I didn't think that it would have been as simple as this to make! Maybe next year! :D
Oh yeah! I never thought about looking on Ebay, I should definitely look there sometime when I have the money. I just love this project! I would love to try it out myself! :D
That is adorable! Though I can never find the plastic to use for this in the stores.. Have any other suggestions on what I can use for this project.. or I might just have to find a place online that I can get them through.
Also if you are really worried about the heat, you can always find a light bulb that doesn't give off heat! I love this idea... though I think I would want to make a hanging lamp like this :D
YEah sorry I didn't get back to you in your message till now.. I don't quite remember which ones I was thinking of so I will have to take a look and see! I would love to try and make something myself but I don't know how to sew very well... yet! I plan on teaching myself so it's going to be a slow process.. next to impossible for me to take lessons elsewhere as they want you to bring in your personal machine so they can teach you on it specifically.. but I don't drive!
@GLENDA M. Thanks! I will definitely try that sometime.. Just I never get past the point where you can safely remove your earrings even with the stuff that they give you to put on them. I never really know why.
A how to would be absolutely great! I cannot wear earring so something like this might be very interesting alternative! In the meantime I will be trying to see where I might find a similar tutorial/ trying it on my own.
Darn.. I got rid of my jacket that looked like this, it was a winter jacket but that would have been very cool to DIY like this.. oh well I donated it at least even though it was missing buttons.. never thought of what I could do with it before giving it away.
This is a wonderful idea! Unfortunately I am not able to wear earrings, my ears get infected badly and I have tried most different things out there. But this would be a great idea for a necklace! :D
This is absolutely wonderful! I would hate to cut up comic books for this project but maybe if they are already falling apart I would do this to them (I don't have comic books around the house) I would love to do this for a friend.
This looks fantastic!! Though I have to ask how does it hold up with stuff on it? I'm not sure if it would be sturdy enough to say hold a glass of water or a few things. Something like this I would love to have as a bedside table in a different colour. It just looks so interesting and unique. :D
@TURTLE , you could find them at a fabric store, would probably be your best bet to find the right amounts. Though you never know what pops up at your local thrift stores.
I'm thinking back pocket(ones that zip up) from a pair of pants or shorts? I don't know.. I would love to make one of these as it would go well with something I am trying to make for next halloween (also to have one to wear when I go out so I don't have to bring a purse all the time.) I will attempt one if i can find something that might work for this idea.
I think this is a great idea. I have an office chair for my craft room but I find it very boring because it is straight black. I think I just found my answer to making it look different without having to spend an arm and a leg. Thanks for this idea! :D
I think I really need to do this once I can get my craftroom.. I think it will remain fairly bland too only because the ribbons will be the main focus! :D
I think I really need to do this once I can get my craftroom.. I think it will remain fairly bland too only because the ribbons will be the main focus! :D
I love this! I have some bland chopsticks somewhere, just have to find them and I already have the drilling tool because I was using it for other projects.
I love the positivity through creativity saying at the beginning of the tutorial! Everytime I am down I do something creative and it perks my spirits right up...This was perfect for me to find! I never would have thought of experimenting with hair extensions like this before now! Thanks for the tutorial!
Darn it, I have to wait. I threw out the rolls just the other day! I have so much fabric! I really need to make myself something to hold my bracelets since I am collecting more then I have ever had before.
I absolutely love that movie! I am so glad to see someone cosplay this! Now I need to go watch that movie.. and I need to go watch it again!! You did an amazing job on this! :D
Oh my! I just love this project!! I desperately need to organize my craft room so I can find the chalkboard paint and make this as well as a few other things I have been wanting to make using it! This is so cute! :D
Would be nice if it had all the steps with pictures.. and then if we tried the project and liked it, maybe we would buy the book, for something as complicated as this (for me anyhow) without the pictures I am would be running through this blind. I don't have money to throw around on books right now. Everything that needs instructions is all online right now.. I guess though this site has to get paid somehow so it can run.. Thought there were enough advertisements though
This is an awesome idea for a business.. Though I am thinking that if one wants to they can make a fake scratch ticket, or even some valentines scratch cards using hearts instead of rectangles, and red or pink acrylic paint instead of silver.. or mixed with silver..
I usually hate anything with sequins but this looks super cute! I want to make one! Have no idea where to get sequin trim where I live, just individual sequins and I really don't want to be gluing and stitching on that many sequins! Hmm.. Maybe I will look online see if I can find a seller of the sequin trim.
WOW! There are so many of your tutorials that I must try out soon! You have a lot of great ideas! I know a few things that I am going to be trying later today :D
Oh my! I think I just found out the best idea for someone I know that is a coca-cola junkie... though I am not quite sure why you had to replace the cord?
Okay I have to really make one of these now! This looks like a fantastic idea! I want to try it out first then if it works well I want to try to make one for my cousin. He would just flip for one of these! :D
I also would like to experiment with trying the cassettes tapes as well.. Maybe even try both to see what happens. :D
no I dea where I am going to get an empty dvd case.. but maybe I might be able to find one, sometime, when i do i so want to make one of these to hold a few things in it.
Fabulous!!! I am going to try making one of these real soon! I have so much fabric that I need to try and start using some of it before I get anymore! I just envisioned the right fabric for this job! :D
This is so awesome! I wished I knew how to make a corset, let alone anything clothing wise. I haven't been able to have enough practice. Would love to know where I can find this kind of material as well..
I swear I saw a version of this that had to do with a high heel shoe.. low and behold I cannot find it anywhere so I will have to try and make myself one! When I do I will have to post it! I need something to store my rings even if I end up doing just a box...
@drummrgrl! Sorry it took so long for me to reply! I used these flat charms that said dreams, filed one side and super glued it to the domino.. I have since bought a tool to drill holes in them but haven't made any since these ones. My boyfriend got tired of going to the washroom and there would be all these dominoes all over the place waiting to dry. I also ended up putting a sealant overtop to help protect it longer!
Holy crap I must try to get on this one right away! I haven't been reading enough lately but I think that I would love to do this project! Might even make me read more too! :D
Just a question? Wouldn't that be scratchy on your skin? Or are you putting something underneath it so that it doesn't scratch your skin? If I did this I would have to figure a way that it wouldn't do that..?
I've always wanted platform shoes but couldn't think to part with that much money for them.. I wonder if the dollar stores have flip flops out yet? This is a great idea!!! :D
I love this dress and the stars dress.. I am just wondering if you have ever used already made stamps for any of your projects? I suppose I can find a stamp out of my collection and give it a shot on some material.. I'm just afraid that the fabric paint might possibly ruin the stamp but I have some ideas I would like to try out.. so maybe find a double of a stamp i already have and check it out first before i go ruining any of my good stamps.
I am looking forward to trying this out! I have lots of different fabrics to play around with! I never knew it was this simple to make a template. Going to try to make something soon as I figure out how to work my sewing machine again! :)
Absolutely love this idea! I love these types of flowers but i always find that the colours they use for them just suck! I am going to have to try this some time! :D
Now I remember why I was saving up all those uniquely strange buttons! I remembered seeing this on here before and now that i have seen it i wished I had a hat because I have all the buttons... Now to find a perfect hat and some gears! Lucky you that you found such a connection on getting them! I cannot even begin to think where I might find such things around here where I live!
I am trying to find steampunk ideas to create as I want to slowly make myself my first steampunk costume ever but I am not rushing anything. I will have to look around for wooden fans.. If not wooden then maybe plastic ones to try out this idea! :D
Thanks Tina T. I really loved this idea! It's a great way to have a unique gift tag for someone! Looking back on this project I now want to make more! :D
The part about the swords being distorted on the wearer's body, would you reccommend putt the costume on then figuring exactly where to place them so that doesn't happen?
Hmm I would just need to know where to find the leather strips.. leather anything for supplies can sometimes be very expensive depending on where you go for them..
CAn you use this for the really BIG bows too? This is still awesome! I have to find ways to start using all the fabric that I have around the house! Bows would be kind of awesome! :D
This looks absolutely amazing! Usually I hate tearing books apart unless they are completely falling apart but I think that I definitely would do this! I have a small side table that I made back in high school that I want to revamp and I think this is just the way to do it! :D
Hmm, I love this idea, I just never would have thought of using the fusible web stuff as I have done a few flat projects with fabric and just glued it down normally and then using my hands to smooth it out.. I think that this will not work with a book(opening and closing it) but I will have to try and find this fusible web that you show in the tutorial.. and the fabrics are just great! :D
Wow! I absolutely love how this turned out!!! :D I never would have thought of stamping a domino... I have tons for stuff I have been doing, I am going to try this some time! Thanks for sharing this idea! :D
Well I have been looking for an alternative to getting my ears pierced and here is my answer!!! :D (my ears always get infected no matter how hard I try to keep them from doing that!)
Great idea! I have gotten some great postcards that I want to display but don't want to put them in a photo frame, it seems so same as every other thing.. I can also see myself doing this with a few photos I just absolutely love and want to display (pics I have taken myself!) Thanks for the great idea! :D
This is a cute idea but I personally would not ship my teabags out like this. Giving as a gift to someone wrapped like this is a cute idea but I would have to make several of these as I couldn't give just one out unless it is with something else tea related. :D
WOW! I just love this! I find most of these types of things boring in the stores.. Not unique at all.. This is a great upcycling project! I want to start doing more upcycling as I get a little queasy at how much is wasted... I find DIY people quite interesting!
When i get better at sewing I am so going to make myself one of these.. except maybe make it Luigi instead! Just a preference! I love all things Mario Bros though! so maybe I might make 2.
I get those plain or ugly little storage boxes and mod podge those.... I love the idea of the comics but would have to photo copy and print them off as I would hate to ruin a good comic book.. lol.. I don't even have that many lying around.. but I have done collages before.. This makes me want to do this again. It's been awhile!
I love this idea! I am always finding remnants in the remnant basket at my local fabric store that I fall in love with (both likewise and price wise but never know what to do with them! This is perfect! :D
Great idea! I have lots of sets that are incomplete now as I use them to make my ATCs.(Artist Trading Cards). could use a fun little notebook like this! Or possibly a mini journal using playing cards....oh wait, that's a great idea!
About Acrylic paint.. It's darned stubborn if you get it on your clothes once it sets.. I have ruined a good housecoat, a few pairs of pants because of them.... I'm sure these should last for quite some time!
great idea! I cannot wearing most earrings. I have been trying to find alternatives that will not infect my ears so no more pierced ears for me. This is something I am going to have to try and make myself! :D
Now I just need to find the clip on pieces. I cannot wear earrings as i tend to get infections. I would like to start wearing more earrings though, but there doesn't really seem to be a lot of clip on earrings anymore.... at least not modern enough to wear. Earrings seem too geared to having pierced ears nowadays. Love this tutorial. Gives me an idea of something to try.
If I did this I would make sure the puzzle pieces fit somehow so I could store them together. sadly I don't seem able to wear earrings.. but I could see doing a necklace! :D
I am glad to have found this tutorial. This is helpful but I need to make it a bit different as it is a different style of sword I am using.. Probably a little bit more fabric/felt to be used than what is shown here... I will have to see.
Don't have that tortilla press but this is something I have never thought of doing before now... I will have to start up a collection of bottle caps before I ever even get one of those. :D
i can see using strips of different colours or even newsprint to make an interesting mask... Even pictures of flowers or animals. The possibilities of this are endless. Even with embellishments or not, the possibilities are endless..
I have been looking for a tutorial like this for a long time. I just will need to get the tools to make my own. I love stamping! I just think that I would love some other kinds of stamps that I have ideas for in my mind... but never find anything similar! Thanks for posting! :D
Very cool idea. I never would have thought of making a memory bracelet for the stuff I have done but this will be a neat idea to try out once I start making more projects with fabrics.. for now at least I can just wait.
Aww so cute! You say you found the patern for this on Wee Wonderfuls? Is that a book? A website? Please oh please let me know! I just think this is adorable to make! :D
I love this idea! I never would have thought of making my own. I saw some martha stewart halloween cupcake toppers but I believe they would be pretty expensive... although they were quite cute!! This is even cuter of an idea as I have one more use for my punches, not that they don't get enough use as it is.. just always fun to find a new use for something that you never would have thought of before! :D Thanks for the great idea! :D

I can see doing this idea even with the ones that don't have the shank for Scrapbook and cards... the ones that are not indented probably would work for that idea!
The five people you meet in heaven is a great read! I loved that book and still have it after it was given to me as a gift! Also some very great projects! I will definitely have to make them when I get the chance to! :D Awesome inspirations! :D
Need to take a trip to the thrift store and find some plates... Theres nothing I can use in my cupboards for this right now.. also my bf seems to keep a special eye on what's in the cupboards, anything goes missing and he will usually ask.. I have a bad habit of breaking dishes...
Wow! This looks great! This is the first time I have seen this kind of clutch but it already looks like it would cost a lot of $ to buy. This is definitely something I will try once I can find the Ring Blanks. Nowhere around here seems to have them.
Brilliant idea! I'm definitly going to incorporate this into my craft room so that I can hang all my jewelry safely :D Plus it will be out of the way.. I am getting into jewelry making now... I have lots of necklaces anyhow so this still will be great :D
You have quite a few amazing shoe painted projects.. I have never thought about this before.. I may have to contemplate now because I love Alice In wonderland inspired stuff especially Cheshire Cat and these would be awesome to wear... If they are a bit scuffed up, does this still work well?
I never thought to make all my hairband accessories interchangeable.. great way to save on money buying tons of headbands... plus you can just put all your pieces in a container to keep them organized too. :D
wow, that is so pretty... sadly i don't have LARP people in this area I live in... which sucks... but this would make a great piece for a halloween costume, going to give this a go once I get the stuff I need
Wow, absolutely lovely! I want to make this but I don't think I will have the skills to do it... This is something I know I would have to experiment with doing it... But I will suceed. Just need to find black beading wire... have everything else on hand though maybe not needle nose pliers.
I was not too sure if this would have worked, have thought of doing this before with some of the ones I have as for 5-15$ a pair or just one... too expensive for my liking... Now i can make them for 1-2$ Thanks for showing this idea is doable!
Beautiful and a great idea, definitly will be giving this a shot.. Great way to reuse spoons you would normally just throw out... something that was once wasted alot now has a use. I'm sure there are other ideas out there to reuse them but this is the first one I have come across besides washing and reusing them... :D

Nice idea kitty.mortensen! Maybe I will do that! :D

I am going to see what I can do with this idea.. would love to have one to hang around my neck!

Penny F. 4 months ago

that is super easy! I have tons of cardboard sitting around the house right now, even more fabric/ shirts! :D
Penny F. 4 months ago
This is probably cheaper then going out and buying another roll, or if you can no longer find that particular type of ribbon anymore.
Penny F. 4 months ago
yeah, i will have to figure out how to make this! :D
Penny F. 4 months ago
Very beautiful! :D
Penny F. 4 months ago
I would love to make this for a friend, I know he would love this! I will have to figure out how to get this done! :D

Oh my! Wished I could find a store with that many different kinds of masks! That would be amazing! :D
Penny F. 10 months ago
This is absolutely wonderful! I would hate to cut up comic books for this project but maybe if they are already falling apart I would do this to them (I don't have comic books around the house) I would love to do this for a friend.
Penny F. 10 months ago
This looks fantastic!! Though I have to ask how does it hold up with stuff on it? I'm not sure if it would be sturdy enough to say hold a glass of water or a few things. Something like this I would love to have as a bedside table in a different colour. It just looks so interesting and unique. :D

This seems to be getting to be a style to use these suitcases for different kinds of furniture. It's very interesting to see :D
Penny F. 10 months ago

Penny F. 10 months ago
I think this is a great idea. I have an office chair for my craft room but I find it very boring because it is straight black. I think I just found my answer to making it look different without having to spend an arm and a leg. Thanks for this idea! :D
Penny F. 10 months ago
I think I really need to do this once I can get my craftroom.. I think it will remain fairly bland too only because the ribbons will be the main focus! :D
Penny F. 10 months ago

Penny F. 10 months ago
I love this! I have some bland chopsticks somewhere, just have to find them and I already have the drilling tool because I was using it for other projects.
Penny F. 11 months ago
I so would love to know how to make this! I have no idea where to begin with something like this!
Penny F. 11 months ago
I would love to make one of these someday! They look awesome! :D
Penny F. 11 months ago
I love the positivity through creativity saying at the beginning of the tutorial! Everytime I am down I do something creative and it perks my spirits right up...This was perfect for me to find! I never would have thought of experimenting with hair extensions like this before now! Thanks for the tutorial!
Penny F. 11 months ago
This is very cool idea! I love it! It looks simple yet very elegant.
Penny F. 11 months ago
Oooh! I just love this idea!! I so need to save up some supplies so I can get this done and created! My bracelets are everywhere :(
Penny F. 11 months ago
Darn it, I have to wait. I threw out the rolls just the other day! I have so much fabric! I really need to make myself something to hold my bracelets since I am collecting more then I have ever had before.
Penny F. 11 months ago
I absolutely love that movie! I am so glad to see someone cosplay this! Now I need to go watch that movie.. and I need to go watch it again!! You did an amazing job on this! :D
Penny F. 11 months ago
Oh my! I just love this project!! I desperately need to organize my craft room so I can find the chalkboard paint and make this as well as a few other things I have been wanting to make using it! This is so cute! :D
Penny F. 11 months ago
Penny F. 11 months ago
This is an awesome idea for a business.. Though I am thinking that if one wants to they can make a fake scratch ticket, or even some valentines scratch cards using hearts instead of rectangles, and red or pink acrylic paint instead of silver.. or mixed with silver..
Penny F. 11 months ago
Penny F. 11 months ago
WOW! There are so many of your tutorials that I must try out soon! You have a lot of great ideas! I know a few things that I am going to be trying later today :D
Penny F. 11 months ago
Oh my! I think I just found out the best idea for someone I know that is a coca-cola junkie... though I am not quite sure why you had to replace the cord?
Penny F. 11 months ago
Oh my gosh! I know what I am making later today! :D
Penny F. 11 months ago
Penny F. 11 months ago
Oooh! I just love this! I will look at the instructions when I am more awake and try to figure out if I can actually attempt this project.
Penny F. 11 months ago
Oh my! I would love to know how to make this!!! :D
Penny F. 12 months ago
Question... Would this work for hamsters?
Penny F. 12 months ago
no I dea where I am going to get an empty dvd case.. but maybe I might be able to find one, sometime, when i do i so want to make one of these to hold a few things in it.
Penny F. 12 months ago
That definitely looks really cool now! :D
Penny F. 12 months ago
Fabulous!!! I am going to try making one of these real soon! I have so much fabric that I need to try and start using some of it before I get anymore! I just envisioned the right fabric for this job! :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
Love this idea!
Penny F. about 1 year ago
very pretty! :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
I would love to learn how to do this! These types of masks are so amazing! :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
This is so awesome! I wished I knew how to make a corset, let alone anything clothing wise. I haven't been able to have enough practice. Would love to know where I can find this kind of material as well..
Penny F. about 1 year ago
That is really creative! It looks wonderful! :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
I would love to see a tutorial as well!!! I have tons of common cards I can do something with!
Penny F. about 1 year ago
I think i would do this but without the background so I can put my pins onto it and finally have a way to display them.
Penny F. about 1 year ago
This is sweet! :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
I swear I saw a version of this that had to do with a high heel shoe.. low and behold I cannot find it anywhere so I will have to try and make myself one! When I do I will have to post it! I need something to store my rings even if I end up doing just a box...
Penny F. about 1 year ago
Penny F. about 1 year ago
Very creative! :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
Cute! Though I have cats that would chew the feathers off like crazy! :(
Penny F. about 1 year ago
This is great!! :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
These shoes look amazing by the way which is why i am interested in knowing what flocking is
Penny F. about 1 year ago
Okay I have heard of flocking but don't know what that actually is.. anyone have any links to what this is?
Penny F. about 1 year ago
This looks awesome! :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
That worked out really darn well! Great job on this!
Penny F. about 1 year ago
That is amazing! :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
This is very beautiful!
Penny F. about 1 year ago
That is quite cute! :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
That is an amazing dress! :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
Looks like I am going through my socks and putting aside any mismatched colourful socks! I want to try this out! :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
Really looks like you are ready for an evening out! I couldn't imagine that had been a skirt at one point! Great upcycle!
Penny F. about 1 year ago
wow this is great! I absolutely love it! :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
I absolutely love this tutorial! My only problem is that I have a fear of dolls so I can never actually pick any up to try this out!
Penny F. about 1 year ago
ooh by the way i really love the space-y one! I cannot find fabric related to space around here at all!
Penny F. about 1 year ago
Holy crap I must try to get on this one right away! I haven't been reading enough lately but I think that I would love to do this project! Might even make me read more too! :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
This is a great idea if the t-shirt is also part of the gift. :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
I like the idea of the ponytail better then the headband but it's still a cute idea!
Penny F. about 1 year ago
I love these!!! :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
I think this is a great idea! I think I am going to make a smaller version too for my rings.
Penny F. about 1 year ago
I'm going to have to try this! I LOVE these but they are expensive in the restaurant and less for what you pay for! :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
Just a question? Wouldn't that be scratchy on your skin? Or are you putting something underneath it so that it doesn't scratch your skin? If I did this I would have to figure a way that it wouldn't do that..?
Penny F. about 1 year ago
I've always wanted platform shoes but couldn't think to part with that much money for them.. I wonder if the dollar stores have flip flops out yet? This is a great idea!!! :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
That looks really gorgeous! :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
Penny F. about 1 year ago
I like this very much!
Penny F. about 1 year ago
I am looking forward to trying this out! I have lots of different fabrics to play around with! I never knew it was this simple to make a template. Going to try to make something soon as I figure out how to work my sewing machine again! :)
Penny F. about 1 year ago
This is awesome! I love your look in the second pic! :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
Absolutely love this idea! I love these types of flowers but i always find that the colours they use for them just suck! I am going to have to try this some time! :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
Great job on the hat by the way!
Penny F. about 1 year ago
I am trying to find steampunk ideas to create as I want to slowly make myself my first steampunk costume ever but I am not rushing anything. I will have to look around for wooden fans.. If not wooden then maybe plastic ones to try out this idea! :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
Thanks Tina T. I really loved this idea! It's a great way to have a unique gift tag for someone! Looking back on this project I now want to make more! :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
This is an amazing costume! :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
The part about the swords being distorted on the wearer's body, would you reccommend putt the costume on then figuring exactly where to place them so that doesn't happen?
Penny F. about 1 year ago
Hmm I would just need to know where to find the leather strips.. leather anything for supplies can sometimes be very expensive depending on where you go for them..
Penny F. about 1 year ago
These are absolutely beautiful!
Penny F. about 1 year ago
That is awesome! :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
nice! :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
CAn you use this for the really BIG bows too? This is still awesome! I have to find ways to start using all the fabric that I have around the house! Bows would be kind of awesome! :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
I would love to make myself one of these! :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
@Paula B, you can just cut them out or use a seam ripper to take them out. I have done it before.
Penny F. about 1 year ago
This dress looks great! I think i need to pick up this book now! Wonder if I can order it through the local bookstore?
Penny F. about 1 year ago
Great idea! I bought some chalkboard paint for a different project so I just have to find it! Then I will do this idea! :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
I can so see myself doing this for a friend! She would love this! :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
I absolutely love the top! Never would have thought of upcycling a purse like this!
Penny F. about 1 year ago
I used to have this poster! I love how you reused it like this! I think that I might try this sometime with a different poster! :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
This looks absolutely amazing! Usually I hate tearing books apart unless they are completely falling apart but I think that I definitely would do this! I have a small side table that I made back in high school that I want to revamp and I think this is just the way to do it! :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
This looks absolutely yummy!!! I am going to have to try!! :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
Penny F. about 1 year ago
Oh wow this is cool! :D
Penny F. about 1 year ago
This is most certainly very pretty! :D
Penny F. over 1 year ago
Wow! I absolutely love how this turned out!!! :D I never would have thought of stamping a domino... I have tons for stuff I have been doing, I am going to try this some time! Thanks for sharing this idea! :D
Penny F. over 1 year ago
Very lovely dress! :D
Penny F. over 1 year ago
Well I have been looking for an alternative to getting my ears pierced and here is my answer!!! :D (my ears always get infected no matter how hard I try to keep them from doing that!)
Penny F. over 1 year ago
Wow that looks wicked! :D
Penny F. over 1 year ago
Oh gosh that would be awesome! Except I would make a change purse.. maybe even make Artemis :D
Penny F. over 1 year ago
oooh I need to make myself some of these! I have always loved these! :D
Penny F. over 1 year ago
I am so making some of these! They are adorable! Oh gosh who knows maybe I might make a whole bunch of them if I find it easy enough! :D
Penny F. over 1 year ago
Aww!!! These are adorable!!!! :D
Penny F. over 1 year ago
This looks great! :D
Penny F. over 1 year ago
That is adorable! I want to make one!! Maybe in darker colours though.. nothing wrong with this pillow at all! :D
Penny F. over 1 year ago
Thanks Caydyith! I think it's a good space saver! :D
Penny F. over 1 year ago
Ooh! I have seen these and loved them! Now I can make my own! Thanks so much for uploading this tutorial!
Penny F. over 1 year ago
Wow awesome pillow! :D
Penny F. over 1 year ago
Great idea! I have gotten some great postcards that I want to display but don't want to put them in a photo frame, it seems so same as every other thing.. I can also see myself doing this with a few photos I just absolutely love and want to display (pics I have taken myself!) Thanks for the great idea! :D
Penny F. over 1 year ago
This is an awesome idea! :D
Penny F. over 1 year ago
This is great! I am going to try and attempt something similiar. :D
Penny F. over 1 year ago
This is a cool idea, when you get bored of the pictures just turn it to a different side/angle and voila new decoration without having to swap out. :D
Penny F. over 1 year ago
This is a cute idea but I personally would not ship my teabags out like this. Giving as a gift to someone wrapped like this is a cute idea but I would have to make several of these as I couldn't give just one out unless it is with something else tea related. :D
Penny F. over 1 year ago
Wow! Amazing job! I absolutely love this!! :D
Penny F. over 1 year ago
WOW! I just love this! I find most of these types of things boring in the stores.. Not unique at all.. This is a great upcycling project! I want to start doing more upcycling as I get a little queasy at how much is wasted... I find DIY people quite interesting!
Penny F. over 1 year ago
I need to make one of these!!!! Maybe even make someone else one too! I wonder if I can find the filling though.. I don't have any old beanbags.
Penny F. over 1 year ago
When i get better at sewing I am so going to make myself one of these.. except maybe make it Luigi instead! Just a preference! I love all things Mario Bros though! so maybe I might make 2.
Penny F. over 1 year ago
Penny F. over 1 year ago
I love this idea! I am always finding remnants in the remnant basket at my local fabric store that I fall in love with (both likewise and price wise but never know what to do with them! This is perfect! :D
Penny F. over 1 year ago
Great idea! I have lots of sets that are incomplete now as I use them to make my ATCs.(Artist Trading Cards). could use a fun little notebook like this! Or possibly a mini journal using playing cards....oh wait, that's a great idea!
Penny F. over 1 year ago
Both versions are cool! :D
Penny F. over 1 year ago
About Acrylic paint.. It's darned stubborn if you get it on your clothes once it sets.. I have ruined a good housecoat, a few pairs of pants because of them.... I'm sure these should last for quite some time!
Penny F. over 1 year ago
I'm doing this to a pair of my yoga pants... LOL!
Penny F. over 1 year ago
Lady Gaga, that would be interesting! Very crazy indeed but definitely pop, don't you think?
Penny F. over 1 year ago
This is an adorable idea!
Penny F. over 1 year ago
that is such a cute idea!
Penny F. over 1 year ago
apple cinnamon. Nothing better than that! :D
Penny F. over 1 year ago
Thanks for the tutorial, as soon as i have time i will try to make one of these myself! I just love this :D
Penny F. over 1 year ago
I think if i did this, it would have to be a necklace. I don't usually wear bracelets.
Penny F. over 1 year ago
I love them all! The blue on the most! It's my favourite colour! I am definitely checking out the how to for these!
Penny F. over 1 year ago
This is the style tutu that i want to make! I wonder if anyone has put up a tutorial yet for it?
Penny F. over 1 year ago
I have done this before! :D It's simple and easy to do.. maybe not doubled up like this but still pretty much the same concept :D
Penny F. over 1 year ago
If I were to make this it would have to be clip on... but I don't think that anyone wears those anymore!
Penny F. over 1 year ago
I have a question, I cannot wear earrings because when I get my ears pierced they easily become infected... any suggestions?
Penny F. over 1 year ago
This is really cool idea! Love it!
Penny F. over 1 year ago
aww cool! I would love to make one of these! I love Mario brothers stuff! :D
Penny F. over 1 year ago
great job! :D
Penny F. over 1 year ago
oops didn't see the link to the place where you got the idea from, will have to follow it! :D
Penny F. over 1 year ago
A tutorial would be awesome! :D
Penny F. over 1 year ago
great idea! I cannot wearing most earrings. I have been trying to find alternatives that will not infect my ears so no more pierced ears for me. This is something I am going to have to try and make myself! :D
Penny F. over 1 year ago
Penny F. over 1 year ago
If I did this I would make sure the puzzle pieces fit somehow so I could store them together. sadly I don't seem able to wear earrings.. but I could see doing a necklace! :D
Penny F. over 1 year ago
I am glad to have found this tutorial. This is helpful but I need to make it a bit different as it is a different style of sword I am using.. Probably a little bit more fabric/felt to be used than what is shown here... I will have to see.
Penny F. over 1 year ago
Don't have that tortilla press but this is something I have never thought of doing before now... I will have to start up a collection of bottle caps before I ever even get one of those. :D

I have been looking for a tutorial like this for a long time. I just will need to get the tools to make my own. I love stamping! I just think that I would love some other kinds of stamps that I have ideas for in my mind... but never find anything similar! Thanks for posting! :D
Penny F. over 1 year ago
Like them?.... I love them! They are so adorable! :D
Penny F. over 1 year ago
Very cool idea. I never would have thought of making a memory bracelet for the stuff I have done but this will be a neat idea to try out once I start making more projects with fabrics.. for now at least I can just wait.
Penny F. over 1 year ago
Aww so cute! You say you found the patern for this on Wee Wonderfuls? Is that a book? A website? Please oh please let me know! I just think this is adorable to make! :D
Penny F. over 1 year ago
I love this idea! :D
Penny F. over 1 year ago

Need to take a trip to the thrift store and find some plates... Theres nothing I can use in my cupboards for this right now.. also my bf seems to keep a special eye on what's in the cupboards, anything goes missing and he will usually ask.. I have a bad habit of breaking dishes...
Penny F. over 1 year ago
Great idea especially for Halloween! :D

Wow! This looks great! This is the first time I have seen this kind of clutch but it already looks like it would cost a lot of $ to buy. This is definitely something I will try once I can find the Ring Blanks. Nowhere around here seems to have them.

Penny F. almost 2 years ago
If I did this, It would be Luigi.

Awesome job! Love it! :D
Penny F. almost 2 years ago
Brilliant idea! I'm definitly going to incorporate this into my craft room so that I can hang all my jewelry safely :D Plus it will be out of the way.. I am getting into jewelry making now... I have lots of necklaces anyhow so this still will be great :D
Penny F. almost 2 years ago
HAhaha! Too cute! TAking a trip to the dollar store tommorrow for the supplies.. These are just too funny not to make :D

Penny F. almost 2 years ago
I would be very interested in a tutorial for sure! I really love these kinds of things! :D
Penny F. almost 2 years ago
You have quite a few amazing shoe painted projects.. I have never thought about this before.. I may have to contemplate now because I love Alice In wonderland inspired stuff especially Cheshire Cat and these would be awesome to wear... If they are a bit scuffed up, does this still work well?
Penny F. almost 2 years ago
I never thought to make all my hairband accessories interchangeable.. great way to save on money buying tons of headbands... plus you can just put all your pieces in a container to keep them organized too. :D
Penny F. about 2 years ago
Thanks for sharing this idea. I am definitly going to do this project.
Penny F. about 2 years ago
The end result is very lovely :D

Just what I have been looking for... :D My friends and I are thinking of doing a mario themed halloween party.
Penny F. about 2 years ago
wow, that is so pretty... sadly i don't have LARP people in this area I live in... which sucks... but this would make a great piece for a halloween costume, going to give this a go once I get the stuff I need
Penny F. about 2 years ago
these are wicked. :D
Penny F. about 2 years ago
I love this!
Penny F. about 2 years ago
Wow, absolutely lovely! I want to make this but I don't think I will have the skills to do it... This is something I know I would have to experiment with doing it... But I will suceed. Just need to find black beading wire... have everything else on hand though maybe not needle nose pliers.
Penny F. about 2 years ago
This is nice little idea, I am going to do this project as well :D
Penny F. about 2 years ago
I was not too sure if this would have worked, have thought of doing this before with some of the ones I have as for 5-15$ a pair or just one... too expensive for my liking... Now i can make them for 1-2$ Thanks for showing this idea is doable!
Penny F. about 2 years ago
very cute idea but the head of my bed is against a window, it would not work... Overall a cute idea. :D

Beautiful and a great idea, definitly will be giving this a shot.. Great way to reuse spoons you would normally just throw out... something that was once wasted alot now has a use. I'm sure there are other ideas out there to reuse them but this is the first one I have come across besides washing and reusing them... :D
