About

Hey lovely's...I'm Ashley.

- I'm a unique concoction of goth/punk/grunge looks and tastes. I love to draw ...my dream is to become a tattoo artist.
- My other passions include music & crafting. I do random arts and crafts daily to keep my sanity from aspergers syndrome. I love creating and inventing new weird things.
- Right now i mostly make re-fashioned clothes, and Plushies from my favorite movie/cartoon characters.
- I sing/listen to music more than i actually talk to people, and i craft more than i buy things. If i want something, i stop at nothing to figure out how to make it for free!
- I'm also a longtime Vegetarian, animal lover, and all around good-natured person. It's just too bad that i have a dark, twisted, and morbid loving mind. Muahaha! So oddities and freaks you r all welcome to be my friends!

-25 years old
-Hair color changes frequently, right now it's blue & purple.
- I have curves. :3

Thanks so much for the comment on my wacky victory rolls! I really love how so many of your projects are skeletal themed and I'm gonna try my very best to do a version of one of your projects in time for Halloween, so watch this space :)

you said in your bio about swaps...what are they exactly? I've heard about them, but I don't actually know what they are xD. And you projects are amazing! ^^

DarkAshHurts

Thanks so much!
Swaps are where you make & trade things with other people on the site. If you go to the "Boards" section of the site, there is a Swap category there with all the info. People make up a themed Swap (like Tim Burton swap, to make Burton related items), & you join to get a partner from the site to make the things for, & mail them to eachother. They're pretty fun. If you'd like to try one, they have a "Newbie" swap on there where someone will teach you.

Loreals hi lift in magenta! I dont use shampoo so the color won't be stripped. I also put a few drops of Raw's ruby red in a conditioner but probably was unnecessary for me. I think RAW is good at staining hair xD i put conditioner in the purple dye since it comes out super dark. It turned pink in about 5 weeks!! Your hair porosity might not be able to hold color for long. Mine was so damaged and took in color so well but would fade within one wash. Maybe avoid shampoo? And see if that will help otherwise you may need to get a haircut and start fresh.

"...This answers my question of what those iron-on flowers were. lol I couldnt figure it out."

Oops I must have forgotten to include the how to note. Anyway, you place the flowers with the rough side down ( onto the fabric you want it to adhere to ) then you iron over it, from side to side for a few seconds. Let it cool before removing the backing or it won't stay on.

Hey thanks for your comment on my chocolate frog, the key to getting it looking so real is using Fimo clay in chocolate brown :D and I modeled it from a picture of a real frog so the best thing to do is find a good picture and study it, the legs where sculpted on seperately :)

Your projects are really cool. I totally get the artist thing. I too am a starving artist and author of a few books. (Too controversial to get well-known just yet.) As I have always said, "A High Level of Intelligence can drive a person mad." Which I quite am.

Yeah thats me, thank you :) the pics a few months old, I dyed my hair blonde first (my natural hair color is strawberry blonde but Idk, it doesn't catch the blue dye...), then I used La riche Directions Turquoise (lasts loong!) and Lagoon Blue (doesn't last very long... ).
Its always different with these colors, turquoise lasts long but turns to a greenish shade sometime.
Thanks for the welcome :)

I will find an alternative or search the woods come spring for any of natures reclaimed treasures.

RE: Eyeballz how-to :)
Well lady, I just used fimo. The eyeballs were pretty easy to make from the clay. Then I just wrapped the red fimo around the eyeballs, and shaped it to make veins and gore :P Then I baked them for about 25 minutes at 270 degrees. I finished them with a polymer clay gloss I found at the craft store. Good luck!
