Thank you :D I'm terrible at explaining things so if it sounds sketchy let me know ^^" I usually start by blocking out the hair into separate clumps so I know which direction the hair is going to flow, where the light and shadow hits, and then I go in with a tiny brush and work the strands in one clump at a time. It's a long process, but it helps when trying to get the hair to look more loose. As for tablet's I have a Genius tablet I picked up on Amazon for $30. It's on the smaller side but it works for me since I have a tiny work space.
Hi there I saw your tutorials and just had to leave a comment saying they're amazing :) I hope you continue making great tutorials like these have a nice day ^_^
Hey there :) It's going I think XD I've been out with a bit of stomach flu and fever so I haven't been this week. Sucks too because I missed the first model fitting so now I have to either track down a size 8 girl or just leave it fitting the mannequin. I don't think I know how to knit the tubes o.o Most of the things I knit go on clothes like neckband's, wristbands, and etc. XD If it's not too much trouble could I have the tutorial? Thanks in advance :)
Well it's not supposed to be literal a lot of my teachers frown on that so we take concepts and modernize them. From what we read Hermes was the messenger of the gods and guide of souls to the underworld which reminded me of what we take in modern times as the grim reaper, thus the cloak like look of the dress. Looking at the clothing from the time it was full draped over the body and held with ties at certain places to give shape (basically a chiton) thus the belt holding in the light fabric giving it that flow. So it's loosely based as far as fabric, style, silhouette, and general design.
Thanks and no problem I loved the tut :) I was trying to find a more controlled way to get the feather affect without well feathers XD sewing them is a pain. Hope you have a great day too :)

As odd as it sounds I've always wanted to knit a hooded short cape. With some chunky yarn I think it'd be really cool :)
