Hey Nina, I don't come to this site much anymore, but just happened to see your post on my cherrychip loom blanket, which you had questions about. I didn't use a pattern, I made it up as I went. I don't think I will be posting anything new here, but I plan to make a video tutorial on my youtube channel, well hopefully anyway, but I made the squares in strips, using my small blue loom, and each sqaure has 24 rows because I used every peg on the loom. Once the strips were done, I blanket stitched them together. Hope that gives you enough info to start your own. Oh, and the varigated yarn I used is literally called cherry chip, and I just love the pattern it made. Good luck.
Actually Sk8t3r4lif3, it's not really hard especially once you get the hang of it. And I also have a tutorial on how to tie the knots...http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/friendship_bracelet_2_2 and I'm sure there are others besides mine too.
If that's true, then apologies to her.
One of the reasons why a lot of us veteran members on this site left is because of rude newbies. I only come here to check my messages when I get email notices. Once I get my projects moved to my blog I too will be deleting my acct here. This is a cool site, but not worth the visits when you have ppl being inconsiderate and and nothing is being done about it, granted this is the world wide net, but some things like a craft site should be sacred. Good luck with your stay here.
Cute chibis!! And if you're still needing/wanting to perfect the hair on them, here is a video tutorial that may help. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jR6g8h-LcJ8
YOUR FRIEND SENT ME A MESSAGE SAYING THAT MY PROJECTS ARE STUPID (HER WORDS EXACTLY) AND COMMENTED THE SAME THING ON ONE OF THEM, SO UNTIL SHE PLAYS NICE THEN I WILL. AND ANOTHER THING, YOU DON'T KNOW ME TO BE SAYING "FOR ONCE BE NICE". I'M ALWAYS NICE UNTIL SOMEONE IS NASTY TO ME FIRST.
Yeah I know the message came from you though you tried to post it anonymously. Get a life, nobody asked you to look at my stuff or anybody else' and then leave a nasty comment or message. At least I'm big enough person to tell you straight up what the deal is and not post it anon.
Yeah, but how good are the pages cuz I bought a cd once from ebay or somewhere and the pages were nowhere near good.
I couldn't find the leather I wanted, so that's actually fabric, which I got at a local fabric store at the time. The binding screws I got from Hobby Lobby if I remember correctly, it's been so long ago.
@ Joyce Z.--as you can see the arrangement of the threads are the same in steps 2 and 8. Once you finish step 8, you start over again starting with step two and repeat the length of your bracelet. NOTE: the colors should not be reversed meaning the heart should always be in the same color.
Yeah Nikki, I tend to use the garter stitch pattern when working on my looms, which requires you to wrap one peg at a time. The e-wrap technique is working all the way around the loom before you wrap over the looped pegs, the same way you make the small tube with a 4 to 6 peg loom.
Would love to see some of your work. BTW, welcome to CO+K!!
Hey, first thanx for being a fan of my work. Second, this is the stencil I used and I think someone use the same one in a project here on CO+K as well, but here's the link. Hope it works for you.
http://img.coplusk.net/originals/0003/8085/9959.jpg
Thanx for the invite for the matchbox swap, but unfortunately I got ur message late. Just got my internet back on here at home. I will still keep a lookout for the next round though.
No such thing as a stupid question...when it comes to crafts, but yes you will need to strands of each color and when it's folded in half, you will have a total of 4 working strands of each color.
Hi, thanx for faving my "Heart Friendship Bracelet"! I tried making the instructions as simple as possible if you know the basics of tying the knots for a friendship bracelet, but if not then try this tutorial http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/friendship_bracelet_2_2 to get an idea of how they are made. If that doesn't help, try looking for videos on youtube if possible. Maybe a visual aid will help as well. Good luck!
Barbara S. I'm actually in the process of making some to sell in my shop. There's a link to it on my profile page so feel free to keep a look out for some soon!
Ok, it's getting a bit irritating for ppl to keep posting what they think is a better way of doing this. If you want ppl to see it done your way, then post your own project or whatever for it and stop trying to correct me, especially when "again", I haven't had anyone say they had a problem with any dangers, nor have I read anywhere where boiling cans is a danger besides contamination. I googled it eons ago and found nothing.
After I digitally made my pages, I printed them on parchment paper for the somewhat antique look then punched holes to fit the scrapbook posts that were extended for all of the pages to fit.
Haha, Dessah I have so many fonts on my laptop, some that I added so I don't know if that one already came with Windows or not. And it is a handy tool to have to vets and newbies alike!
Nope Erika, sorry. I only have the ones with the logo.
Thanx for the comment on my pixel drawings. I have always wanted to try it since my one of my classmates in art class did one in high school, which was eons ago. I figured out how to do it and because I could already draw, it was easier than I thought.
Would love to see some of your work.
Awww, thanx sweetie!! I'm not much of a Tinkerbell fan...yet, but I do want to see that movie, which gives me an idea for a swap! Thanx again, you just inspired me!!!!!
I made these years ago, so I forgot where I learned how to make them. Quite simple though, doesn't matter if you knit, loom knit or crochet. I can post a how-to for it with crochet, since I was thinking of making one anyway.
Those are cool Jenna! I made some of those for the same swap, but they were of different pokeballs. Did you use paint or what? I used marker and they turned out pretty good.
DarkAsHurts, the base is actually cut from foam with some craft scissors. The image is covered in mod podge then another piece of foam around the edges of it applied using E6000 glue.
Hey,
I'm somewhat of an ATC addict so they are fun to make. I host an ongoing swap here on CO+K and just started a private ATC swap. I also have an ATC network that's always accepting new members at http://atcmaniahaven.socialgo.com so feel free to check those swaps out when you think you're ready for swapping. Can't wait to see your work and happy crafting!!!
Yeah ok, had no incidents of anything exploding ever and no reports of anybody else with exploding cans. Besides keeping the water level high over the can for it all to completely "caramelize", it's also making sure that won't happen, of course I have heard of people boiling other foods in cans and nothing exploded, so the only danger I see is possibly the food getting contaminated with what they use in recycling the metal. And I'm not from Argentina so I'm calling it caramel.
Thanx for faving my hearts friendship bracelet and it's always good to know that my tutorial actually helped someone understand how to make them. Awesome!!
Woooo, neat! I've always wanted to make one of those too! I was thinking maybe using memory wire so you wont have to use anything, ribbon may be a thought to tie it on, but if you want something that will be under your hair and not showing, I'm thinking maybe using stretchy string. Clasp I would think could pull your hair.
This is out
http://www.etsy.com/listing/26413421/art-nouveau-elven-headdress-circlet
Cool! I'm actually gonna try making one completely with stretchy string. The ones I made with jewelry wire I had to make to fit my foot with some room for moving around. I haven't worn it cuz I was planning to list them in my shop, but I'm thinking the stretchy will work a lot better.
Aww cool Sug! I made a pair a few months ago also with trial and error.
I see you used a chain on the second one, but on the first did u use stretchy string or just regular jewelry string. I thought to use the stretchy stuff but figured it wouldn't work so well.
Thought those looked familiar! :) Teresa does have some great tut videos, I learned a lot from her and yeah I wanted to make those too but never got around to it. Yours are cute, love the green!! Great job!
Very cute! I made some of these eons ago and have been meaning to make me some more. I can't seem to keep up with my fabric scrunchies, so I am planning on making some in multiple colors. Now if I could just get around to it. ^_^
Question, how do I upload a picture of the prom dress for the รขโฌลPretty In Pink Homemade Prom Dressรขโฌย contest. Didn't you could do that on the wall. Or can I just post a link to my CO+K project page?
I promise I will add a how-to for this. I think there is already one for a bracelet here if you type "soda tabs" in the search window. It's pretty much the same technique.
@ Until_the_sun-Fimo brand is polymer clay and it shouldn't have done that. I have made some of these too last year, and they turned out great. Maybe the layers were too thin and pressed together too much?...I don't know.
Neh, it's ok, but yeah it has to boil for a very long time and completely under water the whole time. Mine turned out good the first I tried it. I did learn from my mother-in-law's experience though to wait for it to cool off before using. She used hers before cooling it off so the cool whip she put on top melted right into it. Anywho, keep me posted on your 3rd attempt. Good luck!!
Mine worked great and they actually don't taste bad if you lick 'em. I made a nice batch and it stays pretty well provided you keep it in a well air locked container.
I printed out shipping and mailing labels for home and my shop, LOVE IT!

Haha, I saw those posted on the swap board, I was in that swap...much fun! I'm in the process of making mine into ATC's, not magnets. I'm using some of the same movie posters. Really cool magnets though!! ^_^
Those are great! I have made my own business cards too; a lot easier, you make them exactly the way you want, and yes, inexpensive. And you can always print more when you run out, of course if you save the template. Way to go!!
Cute idea! I have...ahem *had* that exact same spool loom until I let someone borrow it and never gave it back! I have another one but is double-ended, which I like better cuz I couldn't stand that little thingamabobber moving around while trying to wrap the pegs on the one you have.
Aw man it WAS! I was so glad when it was finished. I thought though at one point I messed up the hands, but that's another thing about using this messy stuff, it's forgiving so you can pretty much correct "small" mistakes.
AWESOME! I have used oil pastels too, my problem with it is that it's messy and they don't last long for other art work. It is something though that I would like to continue using.
And uh, I don't see the special feature...
Yeah, that's news to me too on the boiling part. I would think that definitely eliminate over baking and getting a brown tint to your piece. I will have to that.
The eyelash itself already had an adhesive on it, but I can't remember if I reinforced it or not. If I did, I believe I would have used super glue sparingly in little dabs. I remember thinking though of using black acrylic paint with the little pointed top, but I figured it would be too messy to try.
They are really good. Not sure exactly how you had trouble getting them to upload, but it could be because of their size. Real easy to resize them in paint from mb to kb. I had no trouble with mine.
Anywho, looking forward to more of your work.
Those do come in handy, I have a couple of them I made out of the same stuff. Been using them for years. Never thought to make some out of tulle though, really cute!
I have wanted to make those for the longest, but for use as hand warmers. I researched them and I found the problem with rice, is that over time it starts to change color so it may stain the material and it gets an odor. So using flax seed was suggested, but I can't seem to find any that isn't milled (grinded to a fine powder). I'm still looking for some and I'm gonna make these eventually.
Anywho, yours are adorable, love the print!
It will come in handy Melissa. You can save and print the pages. Don't know how good the quality will be, but I checked possibility of being able to save them at a good size.
Cool, thanx. I have a blog site for Charmed fans at vox.com, but plan to move it to another location. Will keep you posted when I have it up. But for now you cn visit the site here -->
http://charmedfanatic.groups.vox.com/
Don't bother joining it tho, I'm gonna be putting on blogspot soon.
OMG!! How am I missing your stuff? Love it!! Do you or have thought of selling prints of your work? If I wasn't so frickin' broke most of the time I'd buy one.
It is time consuming, and no this isn't photo shop or anything. I drew it lightly in pencil, outlined it in dots with a fine point sharpie, then erased the lines then dotted in the rest.

Thanx soooo much for this tut. This will work perfectly for my online shop shipping labels. I like vinegar but I don't think I will be licking them when it comes to for their use. LOL >_<
Sorry you're confused on the how-to for my friendship heart bracelet, but like I told another member, if you've never tied one of these then I can't really explain it to you, so if you wish to try this refer to my tut for the tying the basic knots. If the pix don't help, and you need a live visual, try youtube.
That's really cool! I made a stencil too, but printed my on the dull side of freezer paper, cut it out and then ironed the shiny side down to the fabric. It sticks temporarily until you peel it off after stenciling it. But yeah, gotta make one of those with that font!!
Thanx for the friend invite and comments on my projects. Using the knifty knitter (KK) looms are surprisingly easy to learn. You can get them separately and some craft stores like Hobby Lobby or buy the whole set of 4 that come in different sizes. I got mine tho from Walmart, which I think are cheaper there. You should try them, super fun and easy!!
Cool!! I have made one from old magazines, which is partially done, just need to add some type of closure. I have another one I've been working on made from chip bags. Yeah, I learned how to put the chains together watching one of my fav craft shows. You beat me to the how-to, so thanx, saves me the trouble. Haha! LOL
Thanx Phonenixe10! It took me a minute to finally figure out how this was done, I watched a youtube video cuz reading the instructions on the swirling part was a bit confusing. So when I saw it done, it was like...ohhhhhh ok, I got it!! They are fun to make once you figure it out.
Haha, my way is way more messy cuz I add extra beads to the loose warp threads to add a clasp, so I have to improve my method. I have some of my loom bracelets posted here, so you can check them out to see what I'm talking about.
And thanx, it wasn't hard coming up with my
screen name because of obvious reasons.
Anywho, welcome to cok!!
I love loom beading too, and this is very helpful, though I've never backed any of my work but always thought about trying it. I will definitely be using your method. Thanks, cool bracelet BTW!!
Those are great!! but what kind of bags are you guys using. I have done this many a times with bags of different thickness and I never have problem with fumes not to mention I have a nose like a bloodhound.
Welcome to COK and thanx for the fav of my book mania post. I have a similar how-to that is similar to those. You can follow this one for my journal
http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/journal_2
You can leave off the flap and make it any size you want.
Yeah, I do this sometimes but I mix my baking soda with peroxide to a paste consistency, it does lighten up to a few shades. Doing this too much will make your teeth sensitive and really not good for the enamel, so doing this once or twice a month is about right and still way cheaper than the store bought stuff.
O..M..G!! I'm making one too, and I know what you mean about time consuming, though my intervals are really spaced out, so I need to work on mine here soon.
To get the width instead of a tube, you have to knit all the around and stop at the starting peg and then back the other way. You continue to go back and forth instead of in a circle to get a flat panel. That blanket is actually 3 panels stitched together.
Sorry it took me a minute to respond Kira, but yeah there is a way to make these kinds of bracelets without a loom but it takes more time because you thread one bead at a time. I couldn't tell you how to do that because I never tried or have the patience for such tedious work.
Thanks ladies, the cross and skulls are gonna be made into a necklace and earrings to match for the gothic/lolita swap.
That mold will definitely be put to use!! ^_^
Yes Miguel, just like janghwa said, you can can these on clothing. Varnishing them or putting some type of protective coating on them will strengthen their already durability.
Thank you all for favoriting and commenting on my project, which made it a feature this week!!!!
Glad it was helpful to you Peejay. I wasn't thinking Lolita when I made that plaid bow, but now that you mention it,hmm.......
That is cool!! I have wanted to do something like that with my cricut for awhile. So far I have only made name iron-ons, some for swaps, but nothing big yet. Thanks for the inspiration and motivation!!
Oh sorry guys, the second one is Rogue from X-men, third one is Toni Braxton the singer, the fifth one is Ludacris-singer/rapper, and the last one is Vanessa Williams.
Thanks for all the comments, my specialty is drawing portraits. I have done some commission portraits too.
These are cool!! I have some that I made from CapriSun and and Kool-aid pouches that I haven't yet posted. Guess I gotta get those up, you done beat me to it!! LOL

Those are great!!! I'm hosting an ongoing monthly swap for ATC's. Fortunately partners were just posted today for the 3rd round. Check it out in the board's swap shop. We would love to have you. Again, nice job!!!!
I actually found the image while googling under cullen crest, but here's a link to take you right to it.
http://www.sewhooked.org/crafts/img/ref/stencil_cullencrest.jpg
Have fun and welcome to CO+K!!!
Thanks for the friend invite and the comment. I will post a how-to for the soda tab belts which I have been intending to do. As far as how many tabs you will need, it just depends on how long you want to make it. I have sold some of these belts, a couple in my online shops and more to local friends and family. They love em too.
BTW, welcome to CO+K!

Thanks for the condolence India and you others for the comments, but yeah, fimo will work too. I just used the sculpey cuz that's what I have a lot of.
BTW, the clear clay is called translucent.
Hahaha! I get the same attitude with my fiance' when I go to the same stores (HobbyLobby and Michael's). We always agree though that he drops me off and comes back later while he goes elsewhere to do what he wants or needs to do. We live in small town so our closest craft stores are about an hour away, so that's the only time I go is when I need something I can't find locally or if we have other business for going. We do have some things in common when it comes to art and crafts.
That's cool Mickie to know that there is someone out there who has the same type of inspiration I have when it comes to arts and crafts.
Just wish you were local; I so desperately wish I could find someone I can craft with one-on-one. So I'm relying on my crafty family here to satisfy my crafty fetishes!!!
My caramel was pretty much the same all the way through, assuming that's why you must keep the water level above the can at all times during boiling. My mother-in-law made her pie like that too, except the cool whip melted because she didn't cool the caramel first. I was gonna do it that the next time and add some cream cheese. That should be interesting. ^_^
One of my friends said too that she boils hers for 4 hours too. I might boil it that long the next time I do it, but with something like this, patience is just not one of my virtues. Haha! ^_^
LMAO! That's a man for ya!! To some degree your situation is not funny, but it's similar to mine, so in same ways it is. BTW, he's the one who needs counseling to learn how to follow directions, but they all do. Men that is, for some odd reason, they don't like reading directions for anything, i.e. putting something together, setting up the remote, hooking up the DVD player, nothing. It just might be a lost cause, but if we women keep trying to bang into their thick skulls, then we might prevail, but let's not hold our breath on that one. ^_^
Actually I use a greeting card software that allows me to reshape images that were from the show to their right proportion and size, add text and other images. I have learned well how to manipulate images to make my pages. I have another post here that shows more pages in my book.
http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/book_of_shadows_replica_pages
I need to start making more pages, but depending on which ones I making, one page can take hours to do.

Too plain to just glue it flat, used pop dots to elevate the image from the tag to pop out at you. Almost like 3-D. I had no problem with them bending.

Hey,
Some more of us are wondering about the page swap as well. I know one can get busy these days therefore CO+K can get low on the priority list, so I thought maybe we can continue it until you come back.
Hope you're doing ok though, since it seems you haven't been on lately so hurry back!
60 inches seems a bit much, but the knots being tied uses more string than you would think. In most case tho, you would be folding it in half anyway as instructed in step one. It's better to have more than less to make sure you can make it long enough to fit.
I so envy you just a tad. I just bought a cricut die cutter which I just played around with a bit, but it won't cut metal. I gotta break that thing in!! and make something.
You just use a lot of the same size safety pins and add beads of your choice randomly or in a pattern. Once you got enough done to fit your wrist, use stretchy string to thread them together through the hole on the bottom of the pins and at the top. Tie and glue. I can post a how-to if that will help.
This is fantabulous!! I really hate using a zip lock bag once, so when I put my son's favorite cereal in one in the morning and he munches while waiting on the bus, hopefully this will encourage his teacher to send it back instead of throwing it away.
They are real easy to make, and you can get as complex or simple with these as you want. They are also known as miniature art. I was thinking if enough crafters here made them, we could have a swap. They are trading cards, haha:)
ACEO's (Art Cards, Editions and Originals) are cards that you can sell, buy, collect, while ATC's (Art Trading Card) are ones that you trade with others and collect with both being the mandatory size of 2 1/2 X 3 1/2 inches. Yeah, I started making these cards too; they can be addictive.
Nice work.
I have a lot of polymer clay and I tried my hand (one time) to make a cane. It turned out okay, I guess for my first try but it wasn't all that good. I was intending to try it again, and now you have inspired me to do it again soon.
BTW, that is a pretty flower cane that will be the first one I try.
That is soooo cool. I found that site over a year ago, and all I did was print out the pattern. Now you done inspired me to follow through on making it. Hmmm....<tapping finger to chin>
No worries Ariel, I don't think anyone is making a big deal of it, but it is cool that you do practice it. I have had some friends that were into Wicka; honestly I find it facinating. From what I understood from what my friends told me, you have to be susceptable to certain things and such, but they aren't into evil doings and like cursing people.
I think she meant she's not into practicing it, cuz I'm the same way with the tv show Charmed. But any who, those are really cool. And just when I was in the process of making a wand, yours is the second one to be posted here. Guess, I gotta hurry up and finish mine. BTW, I love your idea of using twigs.
First of all, no one is fed up with you...at least I don't think so. Besides, that is what this site is about, but any who (<--not a type-o) those are super cool.
Those...are...GORGEOUS! That's it, I have been wanting to make fairy wings like forever. I have got to make a pair for real now, no more butting around about it. I love Maribug's wings as well.
Thanks mangolicious, the yarn I used is Red Heart Cherry Chip varigated yarn, (hence the name of the set). The looms I used came in a set together with a total of 4 looms in different sizes. Here in the States you can get these at most craft stores or Wal-mart, which is where I got mine for only $12 bucks. I have 2 sets. Knitting with looms is way easier than knitting with needles.
I use that method on regular basis with my kids bathroom tub, which I learned from my mom. I don't usually pour anything down afterwards as far as smell. The baking soda takes care of that as well. But is a better fix than using store bought chemicals.
That's cool Amy, that is exactly how I make mine, though I made my own pom-pom maker out of cardboard in different sizes depending on what size I want my pom-poms.
Thanks Xyoljah, I plan on making a how to for that one, which I will try to post soon. Sorry guys, but I have been meaning to post one for a couple of these for some time now. I will get right on that ASAP.
I have two bead looms that I purchased from Walmart, one's plastic which I have used many times, and a wooden one, which is still it's in box, both about $10 bucks with beads. I figured mine out pretty quickly, but hey...that's me.
Nice piece though.
I will post a how-to for the diamond one. The link though to get the same pattern is http://hbernb.atspace.com/index.html. The site owner has a lot of different patterns with instructions, the one for the diamond is Bracelet # 105, and as you will see, I used the same colors she did. I can post the how-to in simpler terms if anyone requests it.
Thanks, I have made so many scarves, that some are going to be X-mas gifts this year. My infinity loom is shaped like a figure 8 and has 237 pegs. I have attempted to use it, but my patience at the time was not good, so I only got about 6 rows before I stopped. Yeah, my nerves were bad that day.
OHHH, Kalli, I just happened to notice that you knit with a loom as well. How fast and easy these little things. I have 16 looms that include an infinity (not yet used) loom and a tube loom. It's just cool to me to see what others make with their looms. Nice scarf, same color as my tote back that I made with my round yellow loom that is posted here. Cool.
It's still pretty good, being it was your first project. I started a loom craze at my last job. A lot of co-workers bought looms, including a couple of guys. I have knitted things from scarves to afghans (a couple posted here). I think you are the only other person I know that uses the knitting looms. Keep up the good work.
I thought about adding stuff to the front too, but...I just haven't. I get so excited about the finished piece I get psyched about the next one. Eventually I will get to that point.
Glad you like it guys. It's a favorite in my house, so I get a lot of requests to make these almost on regular basis. Thank goodness it's fast and easy.
It is pretty, and I made a quilt sewing every square as well. Never again! When I am doing my projects, I am all too anxious to see it finished. I strip piece now.
Yeah, neat and I had posted the same tutorial but deleted before it got posted because it's already on here. But still neat. I have a big ball of plastic ball string that have to do something with now.
Here ya go guys, the how-to. I read a little about this and came up with my own method. Later on, I have seen it done with decoupaging which I have not yet tried.
Thanks guys, yeah, I bought those freaking sticks and for the longest time couldn't think of anything to do with them. I have same problem with a stack of color foam sheets. They will sit and stare at me until I create something with them.
Yeah, I got the idea from a movie that I saw with cheerleaders and having a spirit stick for their team, though it wasn't so elaborate and big as mine. The brown one is an uncut dowel (3ft) the red one 21 inches, where as theirs was only about a foot long.
Memory book or scrapbook paper. I used 12 X 12 sheets for the red and blue books that I like the best. I just made 2 more books with covers made from cloth material that I will post later. I haven't digitized them yet. I love making books too, now that I know how, I got the tutorial from this site, but I do mine a little different. Check it out and thankz for the comment.
Thankz for the comment Kel, but you can do this with any image. Try it with yin and yang, a simple image that is easy to draw, like the one with my dragon. I mean if you want to, it's really easy.
I continuously watch the series of Charmed until the last episode of season eight and start over again on TNT, so I too have seen every episode numerous times. That is one show, for some reason I can never get tired of watching even if I do know every episode. When I started making my own BOS, my fiance that I was into witch craft, I'm like "C'mon, do you see me trying to practice this stuff?" I just love the show. And thankz mamachka, I am proud of myself on this one.
Yeah, I made a yin and yang stamp that I cut myself. It turned pretty cool, but I never got to use because my autistic son got a hold of it and ruined it. Sheesh, now I gotta make another one.
Cool, looking forward to your crafts as well. It's nice to be able to communicate with other crafters, which is something I don't get around my parts. I'm glad I came across this site. 'Really cool.
Well, yeah it's the same thing, but I think most are done with much finer (smaller) tools to make even smaller dots. So far, I have only used a sharpie, which is bigger, pixel size.
No hun, you are not the only one with this dilemma. My day is pretty much the same way. Have you ever heard the phrase "a man's work is from sun to sun, but a woman's work is never done"? I have a 17 year old daughter is also lazy. Get this, she has a job and it's made her lazy. WTF?! She's like her dad, they do nothing around the house. They both said one day that I "bitch too much". I then threatened to leave them alone for a day and see how they do without me. Plus I have a 13 year old autistic son who is a 25/8 child. Let's see how they deal with him when he has one of his occasional tantrums. But I had to think about the consequences, my house would be a mess and guess who have to clean it up.? Yeah, I feel your pain.
I too made something similar; different materials for the cover (foam core) and I added a spine. I'm going to try making with lines on the pages, may just use regular notebook paper. Hmmmm
I wish I had your problem, I have so many ideas that I don't know what to do next. I sometimes start one craft and then another before I'm finished with the first one. My mind is always coming up with stuff, hence my name. HeHe. Gosh, what am I gonna do next?!
Love it. I have pony beads that I haven't used only because they came in a tray of variety beads that I bought. I don't like using pony beads, and always wondered what I was going to do with them, definitely going to try it. Very cool.

Sorry the late reply Shirls, I don't venture here much anymore, but yes, the image goes on before it goes in the oven.

Creativemind almost 2 years ago
Oh and fyi, when you type in all caps, ppl take that as yelling, just so you know.
Creativemind almost 2 years ago
If that's true, then apologies to her.
One of the reasons why a lot of us veteran members on this site left is because of rude newbies. I only come here to check my messages when I get email notices. Once I get my projects moved to my blog I too will be deleting my acct here. This is a cool site, but not worth the visits when you have ppl being inconsiderate and and nothing is being done about it, granted this is the world wide net, but some things like a craft site should be sacred. Good luck with your stay here.

Creativemind almost 2 years ago
Yeah I know the message came from you though you tried to post it anonymously. Get a life, nobody asked you to look at my stuff or anybody else' and then leave a nasty comment or message. At least I'm big enough person to tell you straight up what the deal is and not post it anon.
Creativemind almost 2 years ago
What, you're too stupid to figure it out?
Creativemind almost 2 years ago
I used translucent clay. You can use some the kind that is not, but use more of flowers to make sure you can see them.
Creativemind almost 2 years ago
I will check it then cuz I've gotta finish mine already. LOL
Creativemind almost 2 years ago
Yeah, but how good are the pages cuz I bought a cd once from ebay or somewhere and the pages were nowhere near good.
I couldn't find the leather I wanted, so that's actually fabric, which I got at a local fabric store at the time. The binding screws I got from Hobby Lobby if I remember correctly, it's been so long ago.
Creativemind almost 2 years ago
It's been so long ago, but I think I might have gotten them from Wal-mart or a craft store.
Creativemind almost 2 years ago
@ Joyce Z.--as you can see the arrangement of the threads are the same in steps 2 and 8. Once you finish step 8, you start over again starting with step two and repeat the length of your bracelet. NOTE: the colors should not be reversed meaning the heart should always be in the same color.
Creativemind almost 2 years ago
Yeah Nikki, I tend to use the garter stitch pattern when working on my looms, which requires you to wrap one peg at a time. The e-wrap technique is working all the way around the loom before you wrap over the looped pegs, the same way you make the small tube with a 4 to 6 peg loom.
Would love to see some of your work. BTW, welcome to CO+K!!
Creativemind almost 2 years ago
Hey, first thanx for being a fan of my work. Second, this is the stencil I used and I think someone use the same one in a project here on CO+K as well, but here's the link. Hope it works for you.

Creativemind about 2 years ago

Good luck!

Would love to see some of your work.

I made these years ago, so I forgot where I learned how to make them. Quite simple though, doesn't matter if you knit, loom knit or crochet. I can post a how-to for it with crochet, since I was thinking of making one anyway.

Awesome!!
Creativemind almost 3 years ago
Woooo, neat! I've always wanted to make one of those too! I was thinking maybe using memory wire so you wont have to use anything, ribbon may be a thought to tie it on, but if you want something that will be under your hair and not showing, I'm thinking maybe using stretchy string. Clasp I would think could pull your hair.
This is out
http://www.etsy.com/listing/26413421/art-nouveau-elven-headdress-circlet
Creativemind almost 3 years ago
Cool! I'm actually gonna try making one completely with stretchy string. The ones I made with jewelry wire I had to make to fit my foot with some room for moving around. I haven't worn it cuz I was planning to list them in my shop, but I'm thinking the stretchy will work a lot better.
Creativemind almost 3 years ago
Oh BTW, some ppl also come them toe thongs. Then again about the stretchy string, probably the best way to go. Either way, I love yours!!
Creativemind almost 3 years ago
Aww cool Sug! I made a pair a few months ago also with trial and error.
I see you used a chain on the second one, but on the first did u use stretchy string or just regular jewelry string. I thought to use the stretchy stuff but figured it wouldn't work so well.

@ Until_the_sun-Fimo brand is polymer clay and it shouldn't have done that. I have made some of these too last year, and they turned out great. Maybe the layers were too thin and pressed together too much?...I don't know.
Creativemind about 3 years ago
Neat and yummy!! I just got hungry looking at all of them...thanx Heather!!
Creativemind about 3 years ago
Neh, it's ok, but yeah it has to boil for a very long time and completely under water the whole time. Mine turned out good the first I tried it. I did learn from my mother-in-law's experience though to wait for it to cool off before using. She used hers before cooling it off so the cool whip she put on top melted right into it. Anywho, keep me posted on your 3rd attempt. Good luck!!

Haha @Dessah H.! Actually my mother-in-law told me about it, but I don't know where she got the idea.

I printed out shipping and mailing labels for home and my shop, LOVE IT!

Cute idea! I have...ahem *had* that exact same spool loom until I let someone borrow it and never gave it back! I have another one but is double-ended, which I like better cuz I couldn't stand that little thingamabobber moving around while trying to wrap the pegs on the one you have.
Creativemind over 3 years ago
Yeah Arty, it took me a minute on my first time using them that they aren't like crayons, you gotta press hard when using them.
Creativemind over 3 years ago
Aw man it WAS! I was so glad when it was finished. I thought though at one point I messed up the hands, but that's another thing about using this messy stuff, it's forgiving so you can pretty much correct "small" mistakes.
Creativemind over 3 years ago
Great stuff! I love Teresa's youtube tutorials, I say all of the time that I'm a self taught crocheter thanks to her!
Creativemind over 3 years ago
Ahhhh, ok! I see it now, and I don't think it's gross or anything. Artist use with what they have, you just literally used a part of you. LOL

Carrot cake is my fav, now I want some. Very cute and yummy!
Creativemind over 3 years ago
AWESOME! I have used oil pastels too, my problem with it is that it's messy and they don't last long for other art work. It is something though that I would like to continue using.
And uh, I don't see the special feature...
Creativemind over 3 years ago
Aw snap! I do the same thing when my printer is out of ink, but it is way cheaper. I'm actually having to draw a stencil now for a swap.
Creativemind over 3 years ago
Yeah, that's news to me too on the boiling part. I would think that definitely eliminate over baking and getting a brown tint to your piece. I will have to that.
Creativemind over 3 years ago
Those are great!! I love the colors too, great job!
Creativemind over 3 years ago
The eyelash itself already had an adhesive on it, but I can't remember if I reinforced it or not. If I did, I believe I would have used super glue sparingly in little dabs. I remember thinking though of using black acrylic paint with the little pointed top, but I figured it would be too messy to try.
Creativemind over 3 years ago
Not yet, but I plan to once I get me a set of color fine point sharpies.
Creativemind over 3 years ago
They are really good. Not sure exactly how you had trouble getting them to upload, but it could be because of their size. Real easy to resize them in paint from mb to kb. I had no trouble with mine.
Anywho, looking forward to more of your work.
Creativemind over 3 years ago
Those do come in handy, I have a couple of them I made out of the same stuff. Been using them for years. Never thought to make some out of tulle though, really cute!
Creativemind over 3 years ago
I have wanted to make those for the longest, but for use as hand warmers. I researched them and I found the problem with rice, is that over time it starts to change color so it may stain the material and it gets an odor. So using flax seed was suggested, but I can't seem to find any that isn't milled (grinded to a fine powder). I'm still looking for some and I'm gonna make these eventually.
Anywho, yours are adorable, love the print!
Creativemind over 3 years ago
That is really cool. Definitely gonna try this!!
Creativemind over 3 years ago
It will come in handy Melissa. You can save and print the pages. Don't know how good the quality will be, but I checked possibility of being able to save them at a good size.

Sorry you're confused on the how-to for my friendship heart bracelet, but like I told another member, if you've never tied one of these then I can't really explain it to you, so if you wish to try this refer to my tut for the tying the basic knots. If the pix don't help, and you need a live visual, try youtube.
Creativemind over 3 years ago
That's really cool! I made a stencil too, but printed my on the dull side of freezer paper, cut it out and then ironed the shiny side down to the fabric. It sticks temporarily until you peel it off after stenciling it. But yeah, gotta make one of those with that font!!
Creativemind over 3 years ago
Thanx for the friend invite and comments on my projects. Using the knifty knitter (KK) looms are surprisingly easy to learn. You can get them separately and some craft stores like Hobby Lobby or buy the whole set of 4 that come in different sizes. I got mine tho from Walmart, which I think are cheaper there. You should try them, super fun and easy!!
Creativemind over 3 years ago
That is cute, by any chance you have a pattern for it?
Creativemind over 3 years ago
That is just too cute. We all just have plain white socks around here, but I would buy a pair just to make one!

Creativemind over 3 years ago
thanx for the friend invite and welcome to cok!
Creativemind over 3 years ago
that is definitely a cool idea, so gotta try this
Creativemind over 3 years ago
THAT IS AWESOME! I seen 8 of mine that I sent you. That is really cool!!
Creativemind over 3 years ago
Very cute. I have wanted to try quilling in the past, but never got around to it. This is inspirational, so thanx!!
Creativemind over 3 years ago
Haha, my way is way more messy cuz I add extra beads to the loose warp threads to add a clasp, so I have to improve my method. I have some of my loom bracelets posted here, so you can check them out to see what I'm talking about.
And thanx, it wasn't hard coming up with my
screen name because of obvious reasons.
Anywho, welcome to cok!!
Creativemind over 3 years ago
thanx for the comment on the angelina jolie drawing, and welcome to cok!!
Creativemind over 3 years ago
I love loom beading too, and this is very helpful, though I've never backed any of my work but always thought about trying it. I will definitely be using your method. Thanks, cool bracelet BTW!!
Creativemind over 3 years ago
Thanks, most people don't know it's her if I didn't include her name. At least that's the norm when people see the original.

Thanx for favoriting my Kool-aid pie and shrinky dink rings. And welcome to COK!!

Creativemind over 3 years ago
Those are great!! but what kind of bags are you guys using. I have done this many a times with bags of different thickness and I never have problem with fumes not to mention I have a nose like a bloodhound.
Creativemind over 3 years ago
Welcome to COK and thanx for the fav of my book mania post. I have a similar how-to that is similar to those. You can follow this one for my journal
http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/journal_2
You can leave off the flap and make it any size you want.
Creativemind over 3 years ago
That is so cute. I have made plenty a books in my day, but nothing miniature. So gotta try this!!
Creativemind over 3 years ago
Haha, neat Michelle, and I knew before I even clicked on the project that it was yours!! RAWR!! Nice job! ^_^
Creativemind over 3 years ago
Awesome!!
Creativemind over 3 years ago
I made the pattern and not sure I still have it. It was actually a modification of another pattern that I had also of which my daughter was smaller.
Creativemind over 3 years ago
I have gotta make one of these! Sooo cute.^_^
Creativemind over 3 years ago
That is cute!!
Creativemind over 3 years ago
You could try sewing one, if you've ever made a pattern, just measure your laptop and come up with one of your own. I did, just haven't posted it yet.
Creativemind over 3 years ago
Hello and welcome to CO&K!! Thanks for the friend invite. ^_^
Creativemind over 3 years ago
Yeah, I do this sometimes but I mix my baking soda with peroxide to a paste consistency, it does lighten up to a few shades. Doing this too much will make your teeth sensitive and really not good for the enamel, so doing this once or twice a month is about right and still way cheaper than the store bought stuff.
Creativemind over 3 years ago
Thanks for the comment and friend invite and welcome to CO&K!!
Creativemind over 3 years ago
Love it!!
Creativemind over 3 years ago
O..M..G!! I'm making one too, and I know what you mean about time consuming, though my intervals are really spaced out, so I need to work on mine here soon.
Creativemind over 3 years ago
Oh I love him Ale!! I thought it was the cutest thing when I got it. ^_^ Seriously, adorable!!!
Creativemind over 3 years ago
Thanks for favoriting my loom knit blankets and welcome to CO&K!
Creativemind over 3 years ago
To get the width instead of a tube, you have to knit all the around and stop at the starting peg and then back the other way. You continue to go back and forth instead of in a circle to get a flat panel. That blanket is actually 3 panels stitched together.
Creativemind over 3 years ago
Cute!!! I will be making one for my daughter in a couple of months, neat idea!!
Creativemind over 3 years ago
Sug would love this!!! That is cool, de-beautifying Barbie. How ya like me now?!!(Barbie)

Oh yeah, it works!! My teenage son does it.
Creativemind over 3 years ago
Nice!!! These will make great gifts too!! That narrows down my X-mas list ^_^
Creativemind over 3 years ago
Sorry it took me a minute to respond Kira, but yeah there is a way to make these kinds of bracelets without a loom but it takes more time because you thread one bead at a time. I couldn't tell you how to do that because I never tried or have the patience for such tedious work.
Creativemind over 3 years ago
Thanks for the add and welcome to CO&K!!
Creativemind over 3 years ago
Kewl!! Now if could just find a bamboo mat or something similar.

BTW, the clear clay is called translucent.
Creativemind almost 4 years ago
Creativemind almost 4 years ago
That's cool Mickie to know that there is someone out there who has the same type of inspiration I have when it comes to arts and crafts.
Just wish you were local; I so desperately wish I could find someone I can craft with one-on-one. So I'm relying on my crafty family here to satisfy my crafty fetishes!!!
Creativemind almost 4 years ago
My caramel was pretty much the same all the way through, assuming that's why you must keep the water level above the can at all times during boiling. My mother-in-law made her pie like that too, except the cool whip melted because she didn't cool the caramel first. I was gonna do it that the next time and add some cream cheese. That should be interesting. ^_^
Creativemind almost 4 years ago
OMG! How did I miss this?! I never heard of them either, but I'm definitely gonna try this. They look really tastey!!

One of my friends said too that she boils hers for 4 hours too. I might boil it that long the next time I do it, but with something like this, patience is just not one of my virtues. Haha! ^_^
Creativemind almost 4 years ago
Creativemind about 4 years ago
Yeah, I have a mess of plarn balls, but you're a little late with this how-to. One just like it has been posted already. But still a cool great idea.
Creativemind about 4 years ago
Those are great! Did you make all of them, or trade with others?
Creativemind about 4 years ago
Actually I use a greeting card software that allows me to reshape images that were from the show to their right proportion and size, add text and other images. I have learned well how to manipulate images to make my pages. I have another post here that shows more pages in my book.
http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/book_of_shadows_replica_pages
I need to start making more pages, but depending on which ones I making, one page can take hours to do.

I have knitting looms of different lengths and sizes. This is really cool. I gotta make one of these...like I need another loom. ^_^
Creativemind about 4 years ago
Too plain to just glue it flat, used pop dots to elevate the image from the tag to pop out at you. Almost like 3-D. I had no problem with them bending.

Uh xX, check my how-to for the basic knots for my other friendship bracelet. If you have never tied these before, then I can't explain it to you.
Creativemind about 4 years ago
Thanks for the compliment and the friend invite, you're gonna love it here at CO+K! Enjoy! :)
Creativemind about 4 years ago
Hey,
Some more of us are wondering about the page swap as well. I know one can get busy these days therefore CO+K can get low on the priority list, so I thought maybe we can continue it until you come back.
Hope you're doing ok though, since it seems you haven't been on lately so hurry back!
Creativemind about 4 years ago
And you're welcome for the comment. You will get a lot more with cute stuff like that on here. Enjoy!
Creativemind about 4 years ago
Thanks for the friend request and welcome to CO+K! You're gonna luv it here!
Creativemind about 4 years ago
That is really cute!:)
Creativemind about 4 years ago
Sure, I can post a how-to. I was planning to make another one anyway. Have that up ASAP!
Creativemind about 4 years ago
60 inches seems a bit much, but the knots being tied uses more string than you would think. In most case tho, you would be folding it in half anyway as instructed in step one. It's better to have more than less to make sure you can make it long enough to fit.
Creativemind about 4 years ago
Thanks guys for the comments! ^_^
Creativemind about 4 years ago
That is so adorable! If it wasn't late already, I would make one right now. One is definitely being produced in the morning!
Creativemind about 4 years ago
I so envy you just a tad. I just bought a cricut die cutter which I just played around with a bit, but it won't cut metal. I gotta break that thing in!! and make something.
Creativemind about 4 years ago
You just use a lot of the same size safety pins and add beads of your choice randomly or in a pattern. Once you got enough done to fit your wrist, use stretchy string to thread them together through the hole on the bottom of the pins and at the top. Tie and glue. I can post a how-to if that will help.
Creativemind about 4 years ago
Thanks for the favorite and friend request. :)
Creativemind about 4 years ago
This is fantabulous!! I really hate using a zip lock bag once, so when I put my son's favorite cereal in one in the morning and he munches while waiting on the bus, hopefully this will encourage his teacher to send it back instead of throwing it away.
Creativemind about 4 years ago
You are very welcome for the swap, glad you like it. :)
Creativemind about 4 years ago
You are very welcome for the swap, glad you like it. :)
Creativemind about 4 years ago
That is very pretty. I have a punch needle, which I haven't used yet. I don't think I will be making a rug with it though.
Creativemind about 4 years ago
How-to coming in a few days.
Creativemind about 4 years ago
They are real easy to make, and you can get as complex or simple with these as you want. They are also known as miniature art. I was thinking if enough crafters here made them, we could have a swap. They are trading cards, haha:)
Creativemind about 4 years ago
ACEO's (Art Cards, Editions and Originals) are cards that you can sell, buy, collect, while ATC's (Art Trading Card) are ones that you trade with others and collect with both being the mandatory size of 2 1/2 X 3 1/2 inches. Yeah, I started making these cards too; they can be addictive.
Nice work.
Creativemind about 4 years ago
I have a lot of polymer clay and I tried my hand (one time) to make a cane. It turned out okay, I guess for my first try but it wasn't all that good. I was intending to try it again, and now you have inspired me to do it again soon.
BTW, that is a pretty flower cane that will be the first one I try.
Creativemind about 4 years ago
I might post a how-to, if I can remember how I made them. :P
Creativemind about 4 years ago
Nice job!! :D
Creativemind about 4 years ago
Hey Candice, not sure how to post a message to members who are not in my friends list, but I need your address for the name swap. Thanks.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
Now that definitely needs a how-to. I could really use one of those, with all the jewelry I make. Genius!
Creativemind over 4 years ago
That is soooo cool. I found that site over a year ago, and all I did was print out the pattern. Now you done inspired me to follow through on making it. Hmmm....<tapping finger to chin>
Creativemind over 4 years ago
I don't knit much with needles, my looms are faster, but that is INGENIOUS!

Creativemind over 4 years ago
No worries Ariel, I don't think anyone is making a big deal of it, but it is cool that you do practice it. I have had some friends that were into Wicka; honestly I find it facinating. From what I understood from what my friends told me, you have to be susceptable to certain things and such, but they aren't into evil doings and like cursing people.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
I see you are new here, welcome and thanks for the friend invite. Hope you like it here, I love it. Enjoy!!
Creativemind over 4 years ago
I think she meant she's not into practicing it, cuz I'm the same way with the tv show Charmed. But any who, those are really cool. And just when I was in the process of making a wand, yours is the second one to be posted here. Guess, I gotta hurry up and finish mine. BTW, I love your idea of using twigs.

Creativemind over 4 years ago
That is just too cute!!
Creativemind over 4 years ago
First of all, no one is fed up with you...at least I don't think so. Besides, that is what this site is about, but any who (<--not a type-o) those are super cool.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
Those...are...GORGEOUS! That's it, I have been wanting to make fairy wings like forever. I have got to make a pair for real now, no more butting around about it. I love Maribug's wings as well.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
Thanks mangolicious, the yarn I used is Red Heart Cherry Chip varigated yarn, (hence the name of the set). The looms I used came in a set together with a total of 4 looms in different sizes. Here in the States you can get these at most craft stores or Wal-mart, which is where I got mine for only $12 bucks. I have 2 sets. Knitting with looms is way easier than knitting with needles.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
I use that method on regular basis with my kids bathroom tub, which I learned from my mom. I don't usually pour anything down afterwards as far as smell. The baking soda takes care of that as well. But is a better fix than using store bought chemicals.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
BTW,welcome to CO+K!
Creativemind over 4 years ago
That's cool Amy, that is exactly how I make mine, though I made my own pom-pom maker out of cardboard in different sizes depending on what size I want my pom-poms.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
Thanks Xyoljah, I plan on making a how to for that one, which I will try to post soon. Sorry guys, but I have been meaning to post one for a couple of these for some time now. I will get right on that ASAP.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
Nice, very nice. Looks just like the ones I knit on my knitting looms. I have a set of needles too, but knitting on my looms is so much faster.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
Thanks for the comment. I think I may post an how-to for the cozies. By the time I made the fifth one, it only took an hour so they are easy to make.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
I have seen these as well, and also wondered how to make my own. Well done, now I don't have to put a lot of time in figuring it out. Thankz.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
I have two bead looms that I purchased from Walmart, one's plastic which I have used many times, and a wooden one, which is still it's in box, both about $10 bucks with beads. I figured mine out pretty quickly, but hey...that's me.
Nice piece though.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
Ok, Candice and JessayahX, I will post a how to for the diamond and the heart bracelets soon.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
I will post a how-to for the diamond one. The link though to get the same pattern is http://hbernb.atspace.com/index.html. The site owner has a lot of different patterns with instructions, the one for the diamond is Bracelet # 105, and as you will see, I used the same colors she did. I can post the how-to in simpler terms if anyone requests it.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
Thanks, I have made so many scarves, that some are going to be X-mas gifts this year. My infinity loom is shaped like a figure 8 and has 237 pegs. I have attempted to use it, but my patience at the time was not good, so I only got about 6 rows before I stopped. Yeah, my nerves were bad that day.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
No prob. KMOM14, hope you like it, whatever flavor you made.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
OHHH, Kalli, I just happened to notice that you knit with a loom as well. How fast and easy these little things. I have 16 looms that include an infinity (not yet used) loom and a tube loom. It's just cool to me to see what others make with their looms. Nice scarf, same color as my tote back that I made with my round yellow loom that is posted here. Cool.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
It's still pretty good, being it was your first project. I started a loom craze at my last job. A lot of co-workers bought looms, including a couple of guys. I have knitted things from scarves to afghans (a couple posted here). I think you are the only other person I know that uses the knitting looms. Keep up the good work.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
Sounds like an creative idea DancinJules.

Yeah I thought about the bracelet idea when I messed up a row, now that I have left over, but it's too small to fit over my wrist.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
I thought about adding stuff to the front too, but...I just haven't. I get so excited about the finished piece I get psyched about the next one. Eventually I will get to that point.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
Hahahahaha..that is funny Sky V., but good work on the description, you nailed it. roflmao
Creativemind over 4 years ago
Would like to see how yours turned out Sugarlishes.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
It's a drink mix of different flavors. They come in little packs that make 2 quarts just by adding 1 cup sugar and water.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
I will get right on that. I just bought some more wrapping paper that is just gorgeous and perfect for this book.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
Or of course you can DIY.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
Mangolicious you can click on my personal website link that will get you to my online shop. I have some there already for sale and I do custom orders.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
Glad you like it guys. It's a favorite in my house, so I get a lot of requests to make these almost on regular basis. Thank goodness it's fast and easy.

Cooool!! I like it,I like it a lot. What mediums did you use?
Creativemind over 4 years ago
It is pretty, and I made a quilt sewing every square as well. Never again! When I am doing my projects, I am all too anxious to see it finished. I strip piece now.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
Hehehe, I looked after I added mine, then deleted it when I found it, but it's all good.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
Yeah, neat and I had posted the same tutorial but deleted before it got posted because it's already on here. But still neat. I have a big ball of plastic ball string that have to do something with now.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
I use spray adhesive, but I laminated the covers.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
No problem mamachka.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
That is the coolest thing. Thanks for the how-to. I already have the perfect X-mas gift in mind.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
Why thank you Terri!
Creativemind over 4 years ago
Yeah, I couldn't find buttons of my color choice, so I made my own, but thinks for the comments guys.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
I have been to that site before, it is cool. I had already printed off some patterns a while back. Gotta find them.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
Really, maybe I can find it or something like it. Google and I are the best of friends. Haha
Creativemind over 4 years ago
Thanks Jessayah, and that gives me an idea. I was thinking of doing another of an anime character. Hmmmmm
Creativemind over 4 years ago
Yeah, you bake polymer clay, it will not air dry, but cute creations.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
Here ya go guys, the how-to. I read a little about this and came up with my own method. Later on, I have seen it done with decoupaging which I have not yet tried.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
Image printed on iron-on paper then transferred/baked on to polymer clay. I may post a how-to for this.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
Stencils are good to use instead of drawing an image free hand.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
Thanks guys, yeah, I bought those freaking sticks and for the longest time couldn't think of anything to do with them. I have same problem with a stack of color foam sheets. They will sit and stare at me until I create something with them.
Creativemind over 4 years ago
It is cute, the eyes and stuff added to the pumpkin was cut out from foam.

I think the key to it looking right is making sure you pull it tight when weaving. Hope my tutorial helps you out if you attempt to make another one.

Hmmmm

Yes, extremely easy. I was thinking of posting a how-to for it soon.

Very cool.
