Haha, thanks. It was actually a book I bought from a second-hand store, and it was already in pretty poor condition. There were tons of tears and all kinds of smudges all over the inside, so I basically just put it out of its misery ; )

How did you make that with the embroidery hoop? Can you post a how-to or give me a link?
I absolutely LOVE Amy Lee's style and music!
I absolutely LOVE your projects! Keep up the great work!
This is so neat!
Many of the words in this article, such as "jewellery" and "learnt," are the British spellings and usages of the words. Many of these spellings are different than those that we use in other English-speaking countries, so they may look like mistakes to us. These are, however, the proper usages in British English.
That's super adorable! Great job.
I would absolutely love to knit my own Hogwarts robe from Harry Potter! It would be a cute and geeky way to stay warm during the winter.
@Pam: That would be pretty cool. And thanks so much for reading my review!
Wow, that's so beautiful!
Those are so tiny! How on earth did you manage to fold those? They look fantastic.

Thanks for the fav on my Flower Pushpins.
Thanks for the fav on my version of Hollow Book.
I've had these a couple of times before and they're amazing!
Thanks for the fav on my version of Hollow Book!
It was a complete pain in the butt to cut out all the pages (why do Harry Potter books have to be so long?), but it was totally worth the look on my friend's face as she opened it. The lining was just some felt scraps I had and some hot glue.
Thanks for the fav on my version of Vinyl Record Bowl. Welcome to CO+K.
Awww, that's cute!
Thanks for the fav on my version of Magazine Bowls.
That's so pretty!
That is gorgeous! I would never do that myself for fear of ruining my violin by mistake, but you did a wonderful job. I love the color of your violin, and the lace pattern makes it look even prettier! That's absolutely amazing.
Thats super cute! Great job.
Thanks for the fav on my Vintage Owl Shrink Plastic Necklace. And by the way I love your projects!
And thanks for the fav on my Flower Pushpins.

The detail on this is great. I love Dobby.
Thanks for faving my Personalized Name Necklace!
Thanks for adding me!
Thanks for adding me to your friends! (BTW I love your projects!)
My favorite sign has to be Capricorn. I absolutely love Capricorn's symbol of a goat. The goat represents the ability to take on any challenge, not stopping until you finish it. I am a very persevering person who doesn't like to quit, and I'm not satisfied until what I started is finished and the best it can be. Even though I was born under Scorpio, I live by Capricorn's standards. Capricorns are reliable and generous, two highly important qualities. Capricorn is by far the best zodiac sign.
I just wanted to tell you how much I love your costumes. They're absolutely gorgeous, and the detail is amazing.
My favorite food to bake on the weekends are my cake batter cookies. They aren't the healthiest dessert out there, but what's a weekend without a bit of indulgence?
Those look fantastic! I don't eat chocolate, but I'm sure these would still taste amazing without it. I'm definitely going to try these soon.
Cool! I don't eat chocolate, but I'm sure it would be just as good without it!
I would personally love to crack open a colorful geode and use the pieces for creating jewelry.
Thanks for the fav on my Duct Tape Shoelaces!
Thanks for the fav on my Vintage Owl Shrink Plastic Necklace!
Sorry, I'm not sure why this posted multiple times. I apologize for that little glitch.
Just wanted to say that I LOVE your rings!
Wow, so many rings!
Thanks for the fav on my Marbled Journal Cover!
Thanks for the fav on my Bottle Cap Locket.
He's so cute and tiny!
Awwww, that's so cute!
Oh my gosh, that is too cute.
The one party I will never forget was a crafting party I went to way back in elementary school. My friends and I created memory/keepsake boxes out of these old cigar boxes that were lying around. We used mod podge to apply beautiful pieces of scrapbook paper to the outsides of the boxes. Then we decorated them with glass gemstones, scrapbook elements, and photos. Finally, we used old drawer pulls that we painted in fun colors as handles on the top of the box. The party was a total blast, and the boxes were absolutely gorgeous. My box currently resides on a shelf in my room, where I'm keeping it as a time capsule of my young childhood years. It's full of all the special objects and letters that I received back then. I can't help but smile and remember that single party every time I wake up and see that box of memories on my shelf, waiting to be opened next year.
Love it! I'll post the version I just made soon.
I absolutely love Regina Spektor's style and music. Great job on the DIY The Look.
@Plan B: The tutorial looks fantastic! Thanks so much for taking the time and effort to put it up before you went on your holiday!
Thank you SO MUCH for putting up the how-to for your cloak!
@Plan B: Thanks so much! I can hardly wait for the how-to!
Gorgeous! Can you please post a how-to?
Thanks for the friend request. Welcome to CO+K!
Awwww... even though I am terrible at Mario Bros, I've always loved Blooper. Too cute!
Just curious, how did you make the hole in the coin?
It's amazing what you can do with a piece of string. LOL.
Thanks for the fav on my Marbled Journal Cover!
Thanks for the fav on my Digital Portrait!

Thanks for the fav on my Nyan Cat Plushie!
My most fearless sewing project ever was a Nyan Cat Plushie for my friend's birthday. It was my first time attempting to sew a plushie. I had all the pieces cut out well beforehand, but on the day before her birthday, I found out that my sewing machine was broken and that I had to sew the entire thing by hand. I worked all day and through part of the night so that I could finish it in time to give her. After more than seven hours of hard work, my back was stiff and my fingers were covered with blisters, but seeing the look on her face when she opened her gift made it all worth it. The link below shows my finished work:

Wow, your projects are so creative. Thanks for all the great how-tos!
Thanks for adding me! :)
I would love to win this book. I'm in a bit of a recipe rut, so having some new recipes to learn and cook would be fantastic!
That is absolutely amazing! All the feathers are absolutely stunning!
I just tried this. The results are pretty good. Some nearby neighbors started to stare when I was shooting these photos. LOL.
Welcome to CO+K! My name is also Olivia, and I just fell in love with Evanescence, too. Anyway, have fun on the site!
Super adorable. Such a creative idea!
I would put grilled carne asada, chorizo sausage, really gooey cheese, smoky salsa, fresh cilantro, and a squirt of lime juice on a really thick, puffy flour tortilla.
Live life as if nobody could judge you, and follow your dreams. Never let anyone hold you back, do the best you can, and don't be afraid of making mistakes or failing. You are a unique and special person. Let the world know what you believe and who you are. The only thing limiting your possibility is your dreams. There is no person just like you. Do what you can to make your mark and to change the world.
Thanks for the fav on my Vintage Shrink Plastic Owl Necklace.
Thanks for the friend request!
I would put carne asada, chorizo, really melted cheese, smoky salsa, cilantro, and a squirt of lime juice on a really thick flour tortilla.
Oh, and thanks for the fav on my Vera Bradley Inspired Dress!
OMG, that's so creative! Now I wish I had come up with this. Love it!
Do you think this could attract bugs even after it has hardened?
Thanks so much, you guys! I really work hard on my crafts, so I appreciate it that you take the time to comment.
I'm glad to know that I'm not the only person who doesn't have a quillng tool and just uses a needle or pin!
LOL, the dragon is so darn cute in that thing!
Thanks so much for the fav on my Vera Bradley Inspired Dress! Love all of your projects, too!
I never thought about crocheting with wire. It's a good thing for me it's only using a chain stitch, because I am a terrible crocheter.
Love the new profile pic!
Thanks so much for adding me!
I love all of your fashion competition dresses! Wicked is the best musical of all time, and I love your idea to use it as a theme for the outfits. You did a fabulous job on all of them!
Love it! Plesiosauruses are one of my favorite animals and my favorite dinosaur. (Yes, I know. I'm nerdy enough to rank my favorite dinosaurs! )
Nyan! Love it.
Cool. I love the contrast between the joints and limbs. Great job!
Me four! Definitely one of the funniest I've seen on the site.
Lyssa C., use basic white glue. Elmer's white glue is ideal.
Funny! Love the "RIP Fred" tattoo.
I use small makeup containers (sometimes called caboodles) meant for holding lipsticks and nail polishes to store small, easy-to-lose things such as paintbrushes, markers, scissors, etc. They have tiny compartments that make keeping these things super organized and easy to access.
So simple, yet so gorgeous! Love it!
Go Hunger Games! Great job on the project.
Thanks so much for the fav on my Vintage Owl Shrink Plastic Necklace!
When I get bored, I find an unusual object and upcycle it, usually into jewelry or accessories.
I've made earrings using this method.
That's so neat.
Awesome. Way to go, Lucy!
Love it! Go Hunger Games!
It stinks that you have to wait until April 12th in your country. But definitely see it. It was one of the better book-to-movie translations I've seen. Really good movie.
Thanks for the fav on my Janice Quatlane Inspired Necklace!
I know... I use that catchphrase all the time to bug my friends.
Thank you so much, jennascloset(:!
You're right: cinnamon sugar dough balls are the best! But now I'm craving cookies.
Thanks, the dress only took five days of hard work to make.
I followed the how-to from Caeli L., except I left off the beads and used mod-podge to add a mockingjay to the top. Plus I used printed images and text rather than using scrapbook paper and handwriting (don't even ask about my handwriting).
Sorry, I meant thanks for the fav on my Bottle Cap Locket, not my Vintage Owl Shrink Plastic Necklace. Wasn't thinking there. Whoops.
By the way, shrink plastic is pretty easy to use. I had only used it when I was a kid with my mom's help, but I did it myself this time and it turned out great.
Thanks so much, TraceyJ.Horan!
Those look great!
Wow, you've added so many projects recently, DaCoda! Welcome to the wonderful world of crafts!
Thanks for the have on my Bottle Cap Locket!
Thanks so much for the fav on my Vera Bradley Inspired Dress!
Thanks for the help, Silene6!
Oh, and thanks for the favs on my Vera Bradley Style Dress and Personalized Name Necklace. Now you can make your own necklace instead of having me do it for you (LOL).
I just saw your latest project. Awesome! What did you do differently than the tutorial?
Great job, DaCoda! Can't wait to see it in real life!
Ooh! Can't wait to see it.
I have that book, too! Great job. It looks a lot like the real picture.
Just viewed and commented on your scarf. Great job! It looks great. Can't wait to see it in real life soon!
Wow, DaCoda. You actually timed it down to the second? Nice job. Can't wait to see it in real life!
I really wish I could post my versions. I made three of them, but then I gave them away to my friends.
Awww! He's so tiny and adorable. Great job!
How do you actually take the picture? Where do you aim the camera? Can I use a point-and-shoot camera?
Your projects are definitely some of my favorite on the site! Thanks so much for posting such great how-tos.
That's hard. I love to sew so much that I'd have a hard time picking. But I would probably sew throw pillows covered in little rosettes with beads sewn into the middle.
Oh my gosh, that is amazing! I would totally ask for a how to, but I can't sculpt detail to save my life.
Oh my gosh, that is amazing! I would totally ask for a how-to, but I can't sculpt detail to save my life.
Great idea! Now I can finally wear my favorite tees again without looking trashy. Thanks so much!
I'm a little bit confused on steps 3 and 4. Could you help me a little bit? Thanks so much. I'm DYING to make this skirt!
I would decorate them to look like different foods, such as ice cream, apples, pears, cherries, doughnuts, and cupcakes, then paint little kawaii faces on them. If I decorated them like that, I would probably end up eating all of them before I could take a photo to post of CO+K!
Hey, Marie! Thanks so much for joining the site!
Hey, DaCoda! Thanks so much for joining the site!
Cut out magazine pictures that you find interesting. Group them up and look for similarities. Is there a certain color that you loved? Or is there a certain style to all of your pictures. Turn them into a collage, and use it for inspiration for an item that is completely you!
Can't wait for The Hunger Games movie to come out!
Pi Day is the best. Go math nerds!
These are so cute!
Thanks so much for adding me. BTW Your soaps are so cool!
Your cat's adorable!
That's super cool!
Your cat sure looks like he enjoys it!

Thanks so much for the fav on my Marbled Journal Cover! :)
I saw those online too! You did a great job!
Wow! I love your new profile picture!
The dog is cuter than the hat!
Also you don't need to seal the cover, unless ink rubs off after it dries (only an hour or two). Mine have never rubbed off, though. It may depend on the book you use. Books with glossy covers would probably need to be sealed.
You can use watered down acrylic paint, but I prefer marbling ink. In a jam you can even use food coloring.
Jinx G., "Hanna" was designed to leave spam messages on people's profiles. A lot of comments left on profiles are in this format, but with different names. But don't worry, somebody reported her, and her profile has been removed from the site now.
Mochi is the best thing ever invented!
Those are super cool!
Great idea, but I would be careful with these. My guinea pig got a toilet paper roll stuck on her head once and almost died. I would only let animals use these under supervision.
Cool. How long did you microwave the CD for?
Adorable! Love the rainbow gems!
Love the locket almost as much as I love the Hunger Games!
This necklace is so much prettier than the Anthropologie one!
Please do ADELE. Her style and music is so unique! It would be fun to see what projects people had posted that were similar to her style.
This is amazing!
These are gorgeous! Absolutely beautiful!
I love Professor Layton and Luke!
These are so good! I love shaking the marble around!
Strange, But Cute.
Can you do ADELE? I love her clothes. Her style is so unique!
This is gorgeous! Love the beads.
Isn't that a pig from Pass the Pigs? It's so cute! I used to play that game all the time when I was a kid.
This is so cool! This is just like the Anthropologie morse code necklace!
Aww... That's So Adorable! Snoopy is my favorite Peanut's character!
These are amazing!
Your guinea pig is so cute!
I'm super excited! I just won the Top of the Cake Pops Contest! Can't wait to receive it!
You're Welcome, EVEnl.
I LOVE your mockingjay necklace! The hunger games are awesome.
Nicki Minaj would be so cool as a cake pop! The pink hair would be hilarious (and fun to eat)!
That is so unique!
Those look delis!
I absolutely love your projects! Please add me to your friends list.
Sweet! I love the Hunger Games! I have a mockingjay pin, so maybe I'll find a way to turn that into a necklace.
LOL My name is Olivia too!
Hi, I'm new to CO+K, and I was wondering if you could add me to your friends. I really love your projects and hope that you add me. :)
