grandmother loves to do all needcrafts especially 'crochet-on-the-double', knitting, crocheting and both forms of tatting -- shuttle and needle.

my likes and dislikes do change. my top three are: ocean, ventriquist (i m an amatuer) and travel as long as there is a campsite nearby. when my husband is ready to retire, we will be traveling the country to visit tourist sites and to visit with family and friends.

my other hobbies are minor compared to my needle crafts. i do enjoy origami -- it has a way of being entertaining along with a calming effect. the digital bookkeeping, i just started. i don't have much because i m in the process of scanning family photos that date back one or more generations.

music has always been a part of my life. my parents loved country, bluegrass, gospel and rock roll. i still enjoy listening to this music today. i learned about classical music in school and fell in love with it after hearing 'peter and the wolf'.

i really don't have a favorite film. the names that i listed are my favorite actor and actoresses. i do love to watch roger & hammerstein movies and the old black and white. this one is not one the list: any movie about santa clause and mrs clause.

books are the same way. no book is a favorite but i do enjoy reading books that hold my attention like the authors and i have listed.
