Hi everyone! My name is Madison and I'm the writer of a crafting and sewing blog called Crafty Critique. Basically I review other blogs' sewing/crafting tutorials and write some of my own!

I’m sort of non-traditional compared to the majority of people in the crafting blogosphere—I’m only 21, not married and have no kids! So who do I sew for, you ask? Well, my “mini family,” as I like to call them. That is, Tyler, my boyfriend of five years (yes, we were high school sweethearts), and my 3 ½ year old dog, Monica. I’m a recent advertising grad so blogging and social media come naturally to me, but sewing does not! I’ve taught myself to sew using other people’s tutorials and I still call most parts of my sewing machine “that thingamajig.” So I definitely know how intimidating it can be to try and conquer a big crafting or sewing project! My hope is that by blogging about my own sewing adventures I can inspire you to try and sew something yourself!
