God idea! This would work great if the halter needs some repair as well. My daughter won a halter too, w/o a matching lead. We went to a leather/saddle shop and had one made super cheap, like $10 and it matched the leather color. Much nicer than trying to buy one for more $.

Our kids ride, have riding clinics, shows, horse judging, hippology, field trips, demonstrations, etc.... We have a very active 4-H horse project county! too bad yours wasn't as exciting. I'm working on a rail shirt for my daughter and I hope to post a tutorial on it soon.

Thanks for faving my pie. It is a bit caloric, but you could use 1% milk, smart balance for the butter and a bit less sugar, but then where's the fun in that?! Just have a little slice!
