If you would dress up as a Dutch person in traditional dress that's fine by me because I know we don't wear wooden clogs only eat cheese and wear traditional clothing perhaps there's a difference in culture... I am a liberal person. I will take it down and post my creation again. Good day!

Hoi! Ik heb gekeken bij de Plus maar daar verkopen ze het niet, misschien dat het wel verkrijgbaar is bij de grotere Albert Heijn. Ik heb mijn mutsjes niet gepast ik ben benieuwd want de een is groot en de ander is weer kleiner uitgevallen... dat ligt denk aan de draad dikte.
Het is jammer dat ik er 3 dagen geleden pas achter kwam dat deze actie er was en pas eergisteren zag ik voor het eerst de reclame op tv. De actie liep namelijk tot gisteren maar op de Facebook pagina is wel verteld dat wanneer je het maandag inzend de mutjes nog wel op tijd aan komen. Volgens mij is deze actie jaarlijks terugkerend en dat is fijn want het ruimt zo lekker de restjes wol op :D

I have that same issue even in Summer both my hands and feet are cold, it's awful ! Great idea to crochet fingerless gloves, wearing them does help I do the same.

Wat een ontzettend lief klein vertederend cadeautje. Hoeveel je kunt zeggen met zo weinig, hartstikke goed Jet!
Met Kerst heb ik afgelopen jaar een gedicht moeten schrijven voor een vriendinnetje maar het gedicht was heel onsamenhangend want ik kwam maar niet op de juiste woorden.
Uiteindelijk ben ik opnieuw begonnen en kwam ik met 'Als de wereld wit wordt geef jij hem kleur' dat was mijn hele gedicht en alleen die twee zinnetjes waren genoeg, die zeiden uiteindelijk meer dan een gedicht van één A4tje lang.

Yes it did fall apart, it takes a lot of time to fuse together but eventually you'll get right. You could try to melt the plastic and try to push the handles together onto something cold and flat like the underside of a cup for example... the melted part will be even, perhaps that'll help but I don't know you'll have to try :)

I guess using a hot glue gun would work fine too, the glue is more flexible than the plastic the spoon is made of and using a hot glue gun will certainly safe you a lot of time of making the petals stick together.

Hi ya Abby! Thank you for your comment on my plastic spoon rose. I will try and clarify the first step of step 3. Beginning with the 10 outer petals simply take two spoons and melt what's left of the handles and try to fuse the two handles together. Fuse placing them next to each other and repeat this step 4 more times so that you end up with 5 fused pieces each having two petals.
Hope this helped and if not please let me know I'd be glad to help ^^

Leuk je vilt avontuur te lezen!!! Het is best tijdrovend huh maar het resultaat is vaak zóoo mooi!

Jammer dat je zo in onzekerheid zit met het verhuizen maar gelukkig wordt er wel aan gewerkt maar inderdaad wachten is natuurlijk nooit leuk zeker niet als het niet in jouw handen ligt...

Hier is het ook mooi weer, ik was vandaag in mijn moestuintje aan het werk, 23 en een moestuin WAH!!! ik heb er niet de leeftijd voor maar ik vind het heerlijk, het tuintje was van mijn opa maar toen hij overleed in 1997 werd het een grasveldje... ik heb zijn hobbie opgepakt en het geeft best wel voldoening zeker wanneer het tijd is om te oogsten. Ik vond vandaag een hele mooie rups - felgroen met zwarte driehoekjes op de rug. Ook vond ik een heel oud geblazen flesje van ongeveer 8cm, nog helemaal gaaf en er zit een soort oliekleur overheen! Ik woon op een woonboerderij en sinds de komst van de golfbaan duiken ineens overal scherven van oud delfts blauw op wel zonde hoor... ik denk dat als de graafmachines wat voorzichtiger waren geweest de potten en vazen heel uit de grond waren gekomen :( maar goed...

Die portefeuile is gemaakt van tafelzeil wat ik overhad van een ander project... geen zakdoek of tape dus :)

Ze wist aanvankelijk niet dat het pakketje mede van mij kwam (ze kent een stuk of 6 Yvonne's hahaha) gelukkig kon ze het wel plaatsen... die andere Yvonne's zijn blijkbaar niet zo met creativiteit bezig :D Ik heb nog niet gezien wat je voor haar gemaakt hebt maar ze vond het een "blijde verassing alle pakjes open te maken" dat beloofd veel goeds maar dat kan niet anders want jij bent verschrikkelijk creatief.

I'm sorry! :o I wouldn't have said it was vandalism had I known it was just a picture, you were talking about a piece so I thought it was a real painting that someone had spent hours on.
There will always be people who might not agree with your vision but comments are there to give one's thought (positive or negative). A comment can be harsh, I know it´s happened to me too but I don´t find critisism disrespectful or rude because everyone is entitled to have their own opinion and I don´t really care because no one is alike so everyone has their own style. ´Upcycling' doesn't neccesarily have to mean it adds more value but your illustrations do, I mean I like ´em a lot but if it were a real painting I wouldn´t because I think it´s just not ethical.

My microwave doesn't get icky at all because the wax is only in there for one minute, if you leave it in too long I suppose the fumes will make the inside of the microwave icky but you shouldn't let the wax boil. My project does look like yours but my method is very different... I guess our seashells look alike ^^

Ik heb last van een spambericht bij de ipod oordopjes kussentjes how to dus ik heb een nieuwe how to gemaakt. Ook even meteen mijn ongenoege geuit bij de desbetreffende persoon die dat berichtje durfde te plaatsen. Binnenkort delete ik de oude how to omdat die persoon in grote lijnen heeft geschreven dat het nutteloos is ze te breien als je ze ook zou kunnen kopen en dat je met breien 60 minuten verspilt. dus... voorlopig blijft de oude how to er wel op staan want ik heb weer eens last van een bug en kan mijn projecten niet openen en daardoor geen projecten editen of bijwerken hoe dat heet in het Nederlands. Maar goed die kun je dus bij je favorieten toevoegen. Liefs Yvonne

If people will notice me wearing knitted pads I will feel self satisfied especially since it's such a precise work and the fact I made it myself... it would please me more than to buy breppies anyone can buy though they might look okay. I'd rather spend 60 minutes knitting and saving the planet than wasting a couple of minutes buying breppies.

No it is not... I see it's a bit confusing because I uploaded a 'before' picture of the earbuds. Inside of the knitted cover you should have the strand of yarn you casted on the stitches with (the beginning of the pad eg. the first row), this strand is secure and you can snip it so that it is no longer visible. It does not at all have to do with the electric wires... if you snip these... well you won't be able to listen to music anymore lol :D

175 degrees was recommended but the ink didn’t fix so I just tried to bake it at an degree where it would (I guess it depends on the sort pottery) My advice is to just try it and if you can still wipe it off when baking at 220 degrees at least it has been a fun experiment, I think... of course it would be so much more fun if the experiment succeeds. Good luck!

Thank you for the fave and the comment! I use the head to display my knitted hats. I do not think you could use one head to make another... and sealing it with mod podge would certainly work however its sustainability depends on your number of layers, I would suggest at least 4. Friends? :D

Yup it did, my laces are soft and flexible but mixing the paint with water does mean the paint will come out lighter than the actual colour of paint... the blue paint was way darker than the outcome.

Thanks for the comment on my version of your project.. hehe :) I used acrylic paint (like you suggested) and mixed this with water to get a blended look.
