i never met people like my friends in america, but i heard about these things...
at the moment we had in germany:
1. some brutal strikes about a train station in stuttgart.
the project name is 'stuttgart 21' and the people who wanted to make it want to destroy the really old and beautyful train station, felling old trees and build a metro. thy just do it because of the money.
lots of people are against s21 but the pro-s21 didn t care about that.
then the many people started to protest. in germany you can say everything you want (but things which are pro-hitler/ss/hj/nazis/...). you can protest against anything. but then the police did something verry terrible, they attacked the peaceful demonstrators and began to hurt them.
now we ve got an other government. their name s 'bund 90 die grünen' and they are also against s21.
2. a pandemic which killed people and nobody knew, until some (i think 2) months, what the reason for this was. at first they thought it was salad or cucumbers or something like that and then nobody eat these things anymore.
but now we know that the illness came from germination.
3. germany don t want atomic power anymore.
so, i think that were the most important news from the last time.

ich will dass sie ein bisschen kürzer als hüftlang werden, aber meinen ponny und den seitenscheitel will ich auf jeden fall behalten! :)

aber es macht mich immer wieder traurig wenn ich daran denke, dass das durchschnittsalter in dem sie sterben bei den kindern, die ich betreut habe, bei ca 5 jahren lag...

oomph! s somtimes a little bit pervers, but i like songs like 'labyrinth' and 'sandmann'. the sond 'augen auf' has been published when i was in the 2nd grade (2002/2003). the music video was the first 'horrorfilm' i saw. all boys from my class sang that song the whole time and i was scared by the creepy little kid, which counts... :/
btw. i really like the word 'creepy' ... in germany it means 'gruselig' or 'unheimlich' but that doesn t sound as funny as in english :)

and i learned french at school.
at my school you can also learn latin, spanish and japanese, but i took art as my 5th basic subject .
we also have got german at school, but that s a subject which you must have as a basic one. i think thats because of the german dialects.
( in germany we ve got 16 bundesländer (like bayern or baden and sachsen and so on...). i m from baden. in each of them people speak an other dialect. thats the reason why german s so hard to learn, i think... with the 'standard-language' you can ask a question or something, but if then somebody answer it in bayrisch and with youth language, then you understand nothing.
if you want to hear bayrisch (the dialect what the people speak in bayern. it s very similar as badisch) then you should whatch the movie/ or just the trailer from 'wer früher stirbt ist länger tot' it s a funny film, but i m sure that you understand nothing ^^)
at school we musn t write dialects. we have to speak 'the right german language' (or what ever... :/ )... but we ve got a teacher from bayern and she always says to us: "if you let me speak bayrisch, you can prattle your badisch."

i m at an art class, too, but i meant in wich grad you are. i am at the 10th. first (6years old) -4th (10 years old) class s elementary school, and then we ve got 3 secondary schools: if you were bad at elementary school, then you go to the 'hauptschule' (until the 9th class), if you were ok/good than you go to the 'realschule' (until the 10th class) and if you were verry good, than you go to the 'gymnasium' (until the 12th class). i am at the gymnasium and now i m at the 10th class. hope you' d understand what i mean :D

i just found my old english book from the first year when i learned the language. i can translate the textes and so on, if you want.
it helped me to learn english, so it ll help you to learn german.
the textes are verry, verry easy (for 10 year old kids...) but they are verry helpfull.

the easiest are these things (i think):
1. my name is... -> you can say 'mein Name ist...' or 'ich heiße...'
2. hello -> hallo
3. i m ... years old. -> ich bin... jahre alt.
4. numbers from 1 to 10:
1 -> eins
2 -> zwei
3 -> drei
4 -> vier
5 -> fünf
6 -> sechs
7 -> sieben
8 -> acht
9 -> neun
10 -> zehn

5. in germany we ve got some other letters than in other countrys, like the 'ß' you speak like 's'. 'ß' is a spare for 'ss'.or 'ä', 'ö' and 'ü'.

yes, i think we could be lucky. but why the schools with uniforms are thinking, that the other schools (without them) are worse?
i can t imagine how it would be, if everybody have to dress the same and musn t colour the hair or musn t have pircings... so many people at my school are punks or emos or what ever... they would have a big problem. we are an art school and everybody looks different. if that wouldn t be like that, it would be strange.

in germany it is pretty normal, that you learn two or three languages at school, but i can speak a little bit italian and german sign language, too and i m learning a little, little bit japanese.

i m living in a village (nobody (except the people who live here) can write the name of it right xD) near a little town and a bigger town.
i needn t to drive to school by train or bus, because we ve got schools at our village. the people who come to our school are from all around the setting.
in germany our school system s pretty much different than the other in other countrys.
we ve got 4 years basic school, you start there with 6 years.
then after that we ve got the three secondary schools: gymnasium, realschule and hauptschule.
if you were verry good at basic school, you go at gymnasium. if you were okay or good, you go at realschule and if you were not so good, you go at hauptschule.
i m at a gymnasium. we ve got 8 years and our system is much stricter that in other countrys. our graduation (the abitur) s the catchiest in whole europe... (and i can tell you, that that sucks, because our teachers always act like 'oh, if you don t pass the gymnasium than you ll land under a bridge'... -.-*)
at realschule you ve got 6 years (my friends, who are there make their graduations right now) and the hauptschüler have 9 years.

today most people hate nazis, but at 1945 there were more people who belived in him.
hitler got his power at a time (1933) when germany had a big slump, because of the economy. many people had no work and no mony. if you have big poblems, you got very gullible and you search a black sheep, who is responsible for your misery. so the humans belived hitler when he said that he would change everything and that the jews are the one to blame for.
but there were also people who sussed him. like sophie scholl and her brother.
yes, sadly there are nazis in germany today. but not many. we also have a party in our politics. they call themselve npd (nationaldemokratische partei deutschlands). they are all such idiots xD
they don t get many votes and if they say anything the other partys make luch break.

we speak about everything which happend in the 2. ww. if it is in films ('die welle', 'schindlers liste', 'sophie scholl',...), in books ('als hitler das rosa kanninchen stahl', 'paulas katze', 'warten bis der frieden kommt', '...und im fenster der himmel',...) or at school. all people here are knowing the horrible pictures of the dead bodys in the concentration camps and which happend to them before their dead.

we saw a film at school, it was terrible! the people were all so bony and looked so helpless.
when the climate warming will be worse, these people ll pay for the mistakes of the human being. poor people who have done half as much as the rich ones for this disaster.
i think this depend on your shirt. if you ve got a sturdy one, like me (i think my one consists of a kind of plasticwool), it wouldn t get broken. and even if the seams on the stripes get open, it doesn t take much to sew them together, again :)

yes, it s horrible... our teachers talk with us about it every day. they said, that is also sad for themselve, cause they see more in us than 'just' students and because they knew him, too. also today lots of people cried. i cried already yesterday but at the moment i have to think of it often and that makes me sad again.

i m not so fine at the moment, because the boyfriend of one of my friends killed himself a week ago. he was just 19 years old.
we heared today about it. most of the students and also our teachers cried. i can t belive he did something like that. it s just horrible. i feel so sorry for fiona (my friend)... i huged her the whole break in school. she has to be so strong at the moment...

here you can make your drivers licence with 16 years, but you can drive not until you are 17. and until you are 18 (then you are full-aged) you have to drive with your parents.
i have got some friends, who are from america, but they live here. the mother of one of them (his name s adriano) doesn t want him to make his licence in germany, cause you can get alcohol with 16, too. and that s why she said, that the risc to drive in germany is higher. in her opinion all german teenagers are drunk behind the wheel.

me and my friens made a shirt, for an other friends birthday. we drew a cupcake and put it on a hill of sweets.
maybe you can put the same motive on your shoes :)

in the video they say ß wrong:
the normal german S is like the Z in zero, and the ss or ß is like the english S, but the diffrent is, that the letter for the ß long is and for the ss is the letter really short,.. so its speaking like grooooooosvater (grandfather) and the s is the normal english S... yes... german is a bit difficult ^^

yes, it has got some simple dialogues in it and pretty easy vocabluarys.
it was for the first time when i had to learn english at school.
okay, if you like, i ll translate the english texts in german and give them to you. and then you try to translate them in english. i ll correct them and you have to learn the vocabluaries. if you don t know how german sounds like, you can have a look on this page: www.dict.cc .

i canoed with some friends, went to a sea, made some bbq-partys and me and some friends wanted to go in the cinema in the fiml 'final destination 5'. but we ddn t come in the film, cause of the fsk[German voluntary self-regulation of the movie industry]... it was not for people under 18 years... a friend of mine (he s 19) bought the tickets, but when we wanted to go inside the cinemaroom, they wanted to see our ID card... we had to go in an outer film, called 'super 8' and this was great, too :D
in which town are you living? are there these big houses like in ny?
in germany we don t have these houses... but in frankfurt... but there are just a couple of them...

hüftlang waren sie bei mir leider nie... aber ich glaube bei solchen langen haaren brauch man ne engelsgeduld was föhnen und kämmen usw. angeht...

i never met people like my friends in america, but i heard about these things...
at the moment we had in germany:
1. some brutal strikes about a train station in stuttgart.
the project name is 'stuttgart 21' and the people who wanted to make it want to destroy the really old and beautyful train station, felling old trees and build a metro. thy just do it because of the money.
lots of people are against s21 but the pro-s21 didn t care about that.
then the many people started to protest. in germany you can say everything you want (but things which are pro-hitler/ss/hj/nazis/...). you can protest against anything. but then the police did something verry terrible, they attacked the peaceful demonstrators and began to hurt them.
now we ve got an other government. their name s 'bund 90 die grünen' and they are also against s21.
2. a pandemic which killed people and nobody knew, until some (i think 2) months, what the reason for this was. at first they thought it was salad or cucumbers or something like that and then nobody eat these things anymore.
but now we know that the illness came from germination.
3. germany don t want atomic power anymore.
so, i think that were the most important news from the last time.

ich finds toll wenn sich das jmd traut, so farben wie grün und blau rein zu machen :D
ich würds gern mal ausprobieren, aber ich glaube, dass meine eltern die kriese bekommen würden...
bei amy (meine freundin mit den haaren, die andauernd die farbe wechseln) haben sich die haare auch verfärbt als wir im schwimmbad waren. dannach waren ihre haare neonpink und nicht mehr lila. sie war total begeistert und ich musste eine predigt über die vorteile von sich verfärbenden colorationen über mich ergehen lassen. ^^
ich hatte mal richtig lange haare und nen mittelscheitel... dann (vor ca. 3 jahren) hab ich festgetellt, dass das aussah wie sonst was und dann hab ich sie mir abgeschnitten. kürzer als schulterlang. aber jetzt (seit mai oder so) lasse ich sie mir wachsen.
ich will dass sie ein bisschen kürzer als hüftlang werden, aber meinen ponny und den seitenscheitel will ich auf jeden fall behalten! :)

yes, you are right... prejudices aren t good and if you look at a person carefully, then maybe you find good things, from which you never thought that they are in these person. :)
i heared from some friends, that in england, fance, america and so on (when they were at an exchange) really crazy things happend to them:
1. floid and some friends are sitting in a tourbus in london.
guide: oh! you people are from good old germany, aren t you?
floid: yes, we are.
guide: well then: a happy heil hitler!
floid: :O
guide: is everything all right, sir?
floid: :O
2.you sit in a pub with some locals. and after some drinks they say to you that they never thought that a young german nazi s so nice. -.-*
3. an other boy i knew was in america:
- "and this is an light switch. you can turn the light on and off with it." "ääääh... yes... i knew that..." "oh! do you have electricity in germany, too?"
- "is hitler still the president of germany?"
- "have every german a swastika-tattoo?" (wtf????O.o)
- "hmmm... you smell good, i always thought that germans don t wash themselves."
- "and i know it s different for you, but this house is made out of stone."
4. julia, a friend of me was also in america and a history teacher asked her, if all germans are still nazis.
and some other things like this... sometimes, i think it s funny, but then, when i think about it, it s also verry sad. i was in america for three weeks and when i read the newspapers, i saw, that you ve got nothing in your news, about europe...

dankeschön :D ich bin iwie grad total stolz auf meine schuhe, haben ziemlich viel arbeit gemacht.
stimmt, bei 'normalen' menschen muss es immer größer und besser und toller sein. nie sind wir zufrieden mit dem, was wir haben...
mein papa nennt mich karotte weil es ihm spaß macht, er meint das nicht böse. oben sind sie schon zimlich hellorange, aber das stört mich nicht groß :)
ich finde grün hört sich auch nicht schlecht an :D
ich hab ne freundin und sie hat wirklich jede woche ne andere haarfarbe, viell. bekomm ich sie noch alle zusammen (nebenbeibemerkt ich kenne sie erst seit ca 3 jahren):
weißblond (vo natur aus), pink, dann wieder weißblond, grüne strähnen, pinke strähnen, grau (war ein unfall ^^), pink, dann hat sie sich die haare an der einen seite abrasiert und sich regebogenfarben reingemacht, helllila, dunkellila, iwann war noch orange, dann weißblond mit grünen spitzen und jetzt hat sie türkise haare mit lila strähnen.... bin gespannt wie lange das halten wird ^^

es war das beste was mir hätte passieren können. ich finde es faszinierend, dass die kinder, von denen man es am wenigsten erwartet, weil sie ja eig am ärmsten dran sind, am glücklichsten sind. im gegensatz zu anderen in ihrem alter, die immer vor der ps2 oder dem pc sitzen freuen sie sich schon über winzige dinge...
aber es macht mich immer wieder traurig wenn ich daran denke, dass das durchschnittsalter in dem sie sterben bei den kindern, die ich betreut habe, bei ca 5 jahren lag...

ja, iwie ist es achon ganz witzig, meine freundinnen haben sie mir gefärbt als ich mit ihnen und noch ein paar freunden in freiburg war... seit ich zu hause bin nennt mich mein vater immer nur karotte Ô.ô

e nomi was my personal horror show when i was little ^^ i can sing the whole text of 'mitternacht' (also today)...
oomph! s somtimes a little bit pervers, but i like songs like 'labyrinth' and 'sandmann'. the sond 'augen auf' has been published when i was in the 2nd grade (2002/2003). the music video was the first 'horrorfilm' i saw. all boys from my class sang that song the whole time and i was scared by the creepy little kid, which counts... :/
btw. i really like the word 'creepy' ... in germany it means 'gruselig' or 'unheimlich' but that doesn t sound as funny as in english :)

yes,you are right... dialects are everywhere and if you don t speak the standart language as your motherlanguage, then you ve got a problem ^^
i hope that i won t forget how to speak english... but i don t think so, cause i ve got some friends who are from england, scottland (the girlfriend of my cousin) and america. when they speak it sounds so funny, i like english, it s a cool language.

thanks :) i love to learn new languages. my father s from italy and so i speak a little bit italian. i also can speak a bit japanese and german sign language.
and i learned french at school.
at my school you can also learn latin, spanish and japanese, but i took art as my 5th basic subject .
we also have got german at school, but that s a subject which you must have as a basic one. i think thats because of the german dialects.
( in germany we ve got 16 bundesländer (like bayern or baden and sachsen and so on...). i m from baden. in each of them people speak an other dialect. thats the reason why german s so hard to learn, i think... with the 'standard-language' you can ask a question or something, but if then somebody answer it in bayrisch and with youth language, then you understand nothing.
if you want to hear bayrisch (the dialect what the people speak in bayern. it s very similar as badisch) then you should whatch the movie/ or just the trailer from 'wer früher stirbt ist länger tot' it s a funny film, but i m sure that you understand nothing ^^)
at school we musn t write dialects. we have to speak 'the right german language' (or what ever... :/ )... but we ve got a teacher from bayern and she always says to us: "if you let me speak bayrisch, you can prattle your badisch."

i m at an art class, too, but i meant in wich grad you are. i am at the 10th. first (6years old) -4th (10 years old) class s elementary school, and then we ve got 3 secondary schools: if you were bad at elementary school, then you go to the 'hauptschule' (until the 9th class), if you were ok/good than you go to the 'realschule' (until the 10th class) and if you were verry good, than you go to the 'gymnasium' (until the 12th class). i am at the gymnasium and now i m at the 10th class. hope you' d understand what i mean :D

i just found my old english book from the first year when i learned the language. i can translate the textes and so on, if you want.
it helped me to learn english, so it ll help you to learn german.
the textes are verry, verry easy (for 10 year old kids...) but they are verry helpfull.

yes, i think we could be lucky. but why the schools with uniforms are thinking, that the other schools (without them) are worse?
i can t imagine how it would be, if everybody have to dress the same and musn t colour the hair or musn t have pircings... so many people at my school are punks or emos or what ever... they would have a big problem. we are an art school and everybody looks different. if that wouldn t be like that, it would be strange.

we don t have them here, everybody can colour his or her hair like he or she wants.
i can t belive, that there are schools wehe you musn t do that. i mean nobody concern what you are doing in your freetime or how you look like.
that s so silly...
at our school some girls just wear hot pants, abra and a crochet top in summer and nobody says something (btw there you can see really everything...).
sometimes some teacher (like our french teacher) say something, like "in britain nobody would let you in with these 'clothes'!" or one time a teacher said to a girl "dress something on! you look like a hooker!"... that was extreme...

in germany it is pretty normal, that you learn two or three languages at school, but i can speak a little bit italian and german sign language, too and i m learning a little, little bit japanese.
i think that s because nobody can speak german xD

i m living in a village (nobody (except the people who live here) can write the name of it right xD) near a little town and a bigger town.
i needn t to drive to school by train or bus, because we ve got schools at our village. the people who come to our school are from all around the setting.
in germany our school system s pretty much different than the other in other countrys.
we ve got 4 years basic school, you start there with 6 years.
then after that we ve got the three secondary schools: gymnasium, realschule and hauptschule.
if you were verry good at basic school, you go at gymnasium. if you were okay or good, you go at realschule and if you were not so good, you go at hauptschule.
i m at a gymnasium. we ve got 8 years and our system is much stricter that in other countrys. our graduation (the abitur) s the catchiest in whole europe... (and i can tell you, that that sucks, because our teachers always act like 'oh, if you don t pass the gymnasium than you ll land under a bridge'... -.-*)
at realschule you ve got 6 years (my friends, who are there make their graduations right now) and the hauptschüler have 9 years.

your right, but luckily it s a minority. and that minority s really dumb.
i think today nobody would ever follow a person like hitler as blind as the people did it in the past. i don t want to defend them when i said the thing with the economic crisis, but i think it s an explanation why it had become so bad, as it did.
i understand why much people, also today, don t like germans, but the only thing i think, which s stupid, is that they think even my generation is responsible for that, what happened in ww2. even my grandma was a child when the war started. even she didn t vote for the nazis. and consequently my generation and my parents ones couldn t do anything for or against this horror which happened.
btw. my little sister was in england with an exchange and some boys said hello with the hitler salute, she was very sad after that, because for us it s like if you say 'fuck you!'...

hitler got his power at a time (1933) when germany had a big slump, because of the economy. many people had no work and no mony. if you have big poblems, you got very gullible and you search a black sheep, who is responsible for your misery. so the humans belived hitler when he said that he would change everything and that the jews are the one to blame for.
but there were also people who sussed him. like sophie scholl and her brother.
yes, sadly there are nazis in germany today. but not many. we also have a party in our politics. they call themselve npd (nationaldemokratische partei deutschlands). they are all such idiots xD
they don t get many votes and if they say anything the other partys make luch break.
nobody who s intelligent take them seriously:

in the video they speak about the 'problems' of nazis in their every day life, like that they cant get any social contacts (telephone), they can t be sportif (boxing), they can t go inside an elevator without cutting their arm off. poooooooor nazis ^^ they need our insight and our motivation so that they feel themselve useful (like as clothesline holder).

i absolutly agree with you.
i think most poor people do stupid things like that because they can see no escape from their sad existence. and so i think the rich ones should help them a fortior.
i hate racism, too. the people who i don t like the most are nazis. they are just stupid and they can t learn from the past.
but i also don t like it if people say to me that i am a nazi, because i am german.
okay, germany did a lot of mistakes in its history, but today it isn t like in 1945.
we speak about everything which happend in the 2. ww. if it is in films ('die welle', 'schindlers liste', 'sophie scholl',...), in books ('als hitler das rosa kanninchen stahl', 'paulas katze', 'warten bis der frieden kommt', '...und im fenster der himmel',...) or at school. all people here are knowing the horrible pictures of the dead bodys in the concentration camps and which happend to them before their dead.
yes, there are lots of stupid humans in these world.

yes, it s horrible how many poor people are in africa, but in other third-world-countrys, too.
for example, my mum went to sri lanka with an charity organisatio. the people there are poor, too, but they are so happy, even without mony.
i also really don t understand why south africa s so rich and the rest around isn t...
we saw a film at school, it was terrible! the people were all so bony and looked so helpless.
when the climate warming will be worse, these people ll pay for the mistakes of the human being. poor people who have done half as much as the rich ones for this disaster.

i think this depend on your shirt. if you ve got a sturdy one, like me (i think my one consists of a kind of plasticwool), it wouldn t get broken. and even if the seams on the stripes get open, it doesn t take much to sew them together, again :)
