About
I'm trying to set up a Midlands based craft group in Birmingham if you're interested, please message me or check out the myspace, it's all a bit work in progress at the mo.
www.myspace.com/birminghamcrafters
I love all things arts and crafts and i'm always on the look-out for great activities i can use in my job as a playworker. I spend most of my time playing on the internet, when i should be making fancy things. I'm always on the look-out for new projects and find that arts and crafts helps me to calm down. I'm currently off work for awhile so I've had a chance to be extra crafty. I'm pretty new to these online communities so feel free to friend request me, as I'd love to chat to some like-minded people!
I'd LOVE to;
* Own my own shop someday be it online or in a building
* Move in with my beau
* Be better at staying in contact with people
* Go to an AMAZING craft fair
I can't think of everything I'd like to do, maybe i'll add them if I remember.

Sorry...

I'm like that too! i always have tons of different projects going on. i kinda get bored if im just working on one thing. but with the quilt, you just have to throw yourself into it and eventually you'll get it done. :)

Hi there!
I just have read you had problems with frayed ribbons. You just need to pass it through a flame (the upper zone, the orange one) for about 2 seconds and that's it. Hope it helps. :D
I love your fascinators...

Hey there...Sorry for my late reply...
Well I have got a friend who knows a lot of making a website..
But right now i have only a little myspace-shop with my boyfriend together ( http://www.myspace.com/8bitmonkeys) and a Dawanda shop ( http://de.dawanda.com/shop/JessayahX) too ... We also have a little Ebay shop...It is mostly made for our own...We haven´t got much people who buy that stuff...
But I never had any doubt if the things are good enought to be sold on an own shop...
I´m working on some clothes which I want to put on my page too.
I have a lot of stuff which I haven´t posted yet..
Well I think things will work better when I separate the JessayahX DIY shop and the 8-Bit-monkey-Shop ;)
I haven´t made a lot of promotion for it,because I haven´t finished my page yet.
You must put a lot of work in your stuff and of course you have to continually improve the things(and yourself)..
But that will take its time..so don´t worry...
I think you can definitely sell your flamingo brooch somewhere ;)
It is really sooooo cute ^^

Here is the link for some cream millinery net, I think the same ebay seller does black and other colours as well. I have just been making a cherry print dress, will have to take some pictures of that. I don't think I'd be very good at how to's though as I tend to just make things up as I go along!

Thank you! I could try to do a tutorial but there's not much to teach. All I did was find an image I liked on the internet, drew it onto the fabric, and started painting with fabric paint. The brand I use is Jacquard.

Hello! I like your fascinators-I've been meaning to make some myself, but keep forgetting to actually get round to it. I bought some of that net like they used to have on hats for them, the kind with the big black velvet-y dots on.

Hello!
Thank you for the favorite in the decoupage binder. The images were from old magazines in my grandmother's house, actuallz they were my mom's, from the late 60's I guess. Sorry for taking so long to answer, I'm actually on a trip right now so it's not easy to get internet access. Also I love your flamingo brooch, you should do some tutorial!

So glad you're enjoying the site. Yeah, I think with crafts it can be a lot more satisfying because you get results a lot faster and you don't always have to put so much hard work in. It's also easy to tell if your work is turning out good sooner on.
I wouldn't say I miss film as such, at this time in life, crafts and journalism feel like the right thing - but I'm sure I will return to film later on. Saying that, we have been working on Cut Out + Keep TV and hope to have episode 1 out soon - it's going to be a video podcast style thing with video how-to's
I think I'd love to do animation too, but it seems like such hard work. Do you have anything you've made on the internet?

Do you know that there is an ice sort with an ice stalk which is in the same bone design like the you used for your leopard print bone hair slides project?

I love it when people dare to do something wild to their hair color! :D London-bus-red must have been really cool on you :D and smart side-effect to never get lost in clubs ;)
Yeah the cat on my picture is my cat.. we found her outside after New Years Eve.. she was only a kitten then and we gave her some food and water. So she probably decided we were nice people and moved in with us :P
I've posted a picture of her on the board in the "pet" thread. :) Do you have any cats?

Hey Taz, it's a great name! I think if possible Iceland is even more beautiful than you could imagine. It's different depending what time of year you come. It's like a moody teen, always changing what it looks like ;)
I love going to new places here and seeing even more beautiful things :) If you ever get the opportunity to come here, take it! And lots of money, it's so expensive!
Thanks for commenting on my badges, I think I have lost them now :(
