I really like ur flattening bottle cap idea. i was wondering what ur hair bows look like. could u please put up a picture? I'm in india and i think what you call tortilla is called 'roti' over here (with oil=chapathi, without oil=phulka) so i might have a 'tortilla press'! Yay for me! :)
Great job!
I was dying to own a long denim skirt. since i only wear long skirts and denim is expensive here, it wasn't working out. i thought of buying two cheap pairs of jeans and using the 'legs' of one pair to stitch where u put the non-denim material on the other pair.
i've never worn a pair of jeans in my life so i don't know if the zipper area etc. needed to be worked on or not. really looking forward to your tutorial. maybe, i'll make me two skirts! one like urs and another an all denim one!

hey! this is a nice idea, though personally i wouldn't use a sweater! the weather in India is usually hot.
i think you can attach the sleeves to a white t-shirt that has purple-y embroidery or print or something. maybe you can use a plain t-shirt and decorate it yourself!
i've had my eye on your project but earlier i dint know stitching then, now i have started tailoring classes (we specifically learn indian dress making and not bags and such) i'm looking forward to trying this one, so a big thankyou!
