I work full time, have two kids at primary school and, when I get 5 minutes, utilise crafts to escape from the usual round of 'Mum', 'Deb', 'Help' and 'She has spilt......'. You get the gist!

I like cross stitch and photography but am trying to branch out into sewing (usually by hand despite having a sewing machine) in an attempt to teach my kids that there is more than life than things purchased in a shop. I love the Cloth House in London and Cath Kidston fabrics but usually trawl car boots sales and Charity shops for lengths of fabric.

Bliss for me is an hour alone hidden in the summerhouse where I keep my stash of bits. Needless to say that it doesn't happen too often.
