That's a big part of the problem: people thinking that label and personality are the same things. Label is something used to describe fashion tastes [to me, at least], and personality is used to describe EVERYTHING. People need to realize that the way you dress is not necessarily who you are.
I hate people like that. Grades aren't what make you nerdy, clothes aren't what make you preppy or anything else. Some people just need to get their own personality and stop pretending to be something they're not because it gets hella annoying.
"I was uncool before uncool was cool": same here. So annoying. I don't like the fact that people are all "EW! You're wierd! I don't wanna talk to youuu." And then a month later they're all "Omg I love *insert recent popular thing*!!"
Yeah, we do have accents, we just can't hear them because we hear them all the time. People don't seem to realize that.
I agree with you, they weren't good enough for all that hype. I liked vampires before I read Twilight, and I still do, but not those kind. I think that she portrayed them like they were too...human. Vampires are vampires!
Well I like the Twilight series, I don't love them and I'm not a crazed fan. They're okay. I do think that I am one of the few people who read them because I like vampires. But I'll rant about that some other time. I think that America really does need to shape up because we actually are a part of the world!
I'm Pro-Choice as well, although I don't think that abortion should be used as a birth control.
I agree, instead of watching The Hills and Gossip Girl, pick up a book or a newspaper or watch CNN or find out what the candidates stand for! I agree with Obama and what he believes in, but I can't believe that people voted for him just because he was black, or mixed race, or whatever. You vote for a person based on what they believe in, not the color of their skin. America in general just needs to get a little bit smarter and stop being so ignorant about the world around them.
There's just an overwhelming amout of stupid ignorant people. Obama was elected president, right? One of the boys in my school honestly thought he was a terrorist. -_-"". People need to wake up and research and get some knowledge before they proclaim these stupid ideas that are obviously lies.
you know what else bothers me? people getting japan and china mixed up. they're two different countries!! one of the girls in my school was having a going-away party, cuz she was moving to china, and every thought she had JAPANESE food there -_-""
no kidding - you can have a life, it isnt taxed or anything -- hah i'd love to see the look on their face when you ask them that...
[and that same girl asked me what kind of music rockers listen to.]
