After years in the off/on craft wilderness I re-discovered ebay and then realised that all the things I coveted I could attempt to make! One corsage badge for my best friend's birthday later and I felt like I had happened upon a mini-revolution as I saw just how many other thrifty nippers were out there doing if for themselves!

I love music (both listening and attempting to make), writing, reading and long hot baths. I also love 1960's gumball charms, pliers and needles (because in the wrong hands they can be lethal but with a little bit of know how they work miracles). I also enjoy the thrill of using everyday objects in different and unexpected ways - I'm constantly on the look out these days for things I can thread, hook or glue.

Make tea not war was probably uttered just for me :)
