It's called a ladder. :)

n.a

n.a over 1 year ago

That's far more complicated/uses more materials than any other cuff of this variety. Though it looks kind of cool with the embroidery string.

n.a

n.a over 1 year ago

Uh. Then how'd you make it?

n.a

n.a over 1 year ago

He looks like an old man...I think you might've over-emphasized with some of his facial lines.

n.a

n.a over 1 year ago

I just want to correct you- they are not called gauges. The gauge is only the size. I assume you're making plugs (and using silicone tunnels for the molds), just be super careful with stuff like that- resin can be incredibly toxic, especially for your ears.

But I really do think that's an AWESOME idea. C: Just be careful.

n.a

n.a over 1 year ago

...Cleaning solvent won't stop an infection if you stick something that dirty in your ear, especially if it's too large and you stretch the hole. You end up with micro-tears in your skin, and...oooh it just makes me shudder. >.< The only way to get something like that sterile is to autoclave it- no amount of boiling or alcohol or bleach is going to sterilize a paperclip.

Just wanted to let you know that I did a tutorial on the 3D mushroom, and it's up!

n.a

n.a over 1 year ago

Hey, I'll make a tutorial for the mushroom tonight, and I'll let you know when it's up! ;3

n.a

n.a over 1 year ago

Yes, it will wash out in the wash- I used to have a pair of jeans that a bunch of my friends had signed with sharpies and the like- I no longer have them because I washed them too frequently.

n.a

n.a over 1 year ago

The anatomy is....really, really frightening. I like the shading though.

n.a

Hey, just so you know, I saw your comment on the Kool Aid hair dying project, and no, it's actually NOT damaging to your hair. At least, no more than taking a hot shower is.

It's much less damaging than something like bleaching, or even just dying, your hair, plus, it's not a permanent thing (and one other thing, most of the 'weird' dyes for hair are essentially just ink, with no ammonia or seriously damaging chemicals).

You're welcome! And thank you, very much. C:

n.a

n.a almost 2 years ago

I would love a how-to on this...it's ADORABLE. C:

n.a

n.a almost 2 years ago

I think we're confused because none of these are really crafts. I don't mean to be mean but...they're kinda just things that you can google and then copy/paste onto anything. They're just...not really crafts. Is all. Again, not trying to be mean. Just...confused.

n.a

n.a about 2 years ago

Which one would you like a tutorial for? C:

n.a

n.a about 2 years ago

No, Mi.ezekatze. You are not.

n.a

n.a over 2 years ago

Ahh, they're so bright and happy! I never even thought about doing this, but now I have ideas for kandi. :3

n.a

n.a over 2 years ago

So THAT'S why I designed my first tattoo?

And no, it wasn't the silly stars, those were an incredibly old idea to cover up a scar, and they aren't going to happen. It's not as if that's an incredibly popular project anyways :P. I'm not an idiot, sir or madam, I just know my tattoo artist well. I couldn't have described precisely what I wanted at the time to him, as I wanted a specific design that I ended up drawing out. If a person wants a specific thing on their body, or even have an idea that they want to share with their tattoo artist and let said tattoo artist improve upon it, and they happen to have the capability to draw, why not let them?

Thanks for your thoughts, but they were really rude, and it seems as though you signed up simply to post on that.

n.a

n.a over 2 years ago

This pleases me a great deal. I love Dexter. <3

n.a

n.a over 2 years ago

Oh my goodness, that's the cutest little tail ever! :3 Could you make a how-to for just the tail?

n.a

n.a over 2 years ago

Thanks for faving my Christmas Eyeshadow. :3

n.a

n.a over 2 years ago

:) They're adorable! Nicely done. ^^

n.a

n.a over 2 years ago

It's...really amazing to see a true artistic process put into the form of a tutorial.

I love it!

n.a

n.a over 2 years ago

Thanks for faving my transformers kandi. ^^

n.a

n.a over 2 years ago

No more awkward than a swimsuit!

I think they're adorable.

n.a

n.a over 2 years ago

This is absolutely awesome.
You see Freddy Kreuger sometimes on Halloween, but never any victims. :3
This is really creative. Nice job!

n.a

n.a over 2 years ago

:/ Just saying, I have a tutorial up already for 3D stars...the method is a little different...but still...

n.a

n.a over 2 years ago

Oh my goodness! <3 There are so many possibilities!! I'm so excited about getting my nose repierced now.

n.a

n.a over 2 years ago

Just a side note, this should only be used for well-healed piercings!

But oh my goodness this is so adorable. I can't wait to get my nostril repierced. <3

n.a

n.a over 2 years ago

You can use whatever words you like, doesn't have to be the 'f' word. I just happen to already be a vulgar person.

n.a

n.a over 2 years ago

The green looks a little...flat. Try using a couple of different shades next time. =) But otherwise, nice use of textures.

n.a

n.a over 2 years ago

So...what is it? Sea salt and water?

n.a

n.a over 2 years ago

Not really all that 'steampunk' unless it's added in with an outfit. >.>

But it is really cute!

n.a

n.a over 2 years ago

It's...got two elements directly taken from Emilie Autumn's usual makeup style. The lips and the heart below the eye (though I've never seen anybody pull it off well but her).

The colors don't look too great all together. =/ Sorry.

n.a

n.a over 2 years ago

This seems to just be a doll-maker. O.o I'm not sure that that really qualifies as a craft.

n.a

n.a over 2 years ago

Oh wow. I've been wanting a pillow pet for forever! If you could make a tutorial, that would be absolutely AMAZING. <3

n.a

n.a over 2 years ago

Oh my goodness, please make a how to! I've been trying to find a good tutorial for pants like these for ages, and I can't seem to find any.

I just love them!

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

Haha, it sounds like you mixed up the two words "riff raff" and "bric-a-brac" a little...rick rack is "a flat narrow braid woven in zig zag form".

Though I do really like this idea! It's very cute, especially if you're like me and you end up with tons of miscellaneous things that don't match anything else.

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

Actually yes! Yes I was. I read the first few Anita Blake books before I read Twilight.
I've actually seen stickers that say "Anita Does It Better", and they make me happy. :3

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

You misspelled 'gypsy'...but I do love the idea! I remember wearing necklaces on my head when I was young, because I didn't know how to clasp them around my neck. So I just wore them around on my head.

But now I have to find a necklace similar to that. =)

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

I'm just curious: What are these made from?

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

Yay! =) Thanks for getting back to me on that!

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

Haha. I'll make a tut for the big star. No promises on it being pretty though!

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

These are just adorable. ^^ As soon as I figure out how to knit again, I'll be trying to make some for myself.

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

Ahw, thanks. =3 It does take patience, but just try it some time! It's easy to pick up and put down whenever you want.

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

I'll actually probably end up making a simple one for the sake of not being harassed by parents who want to protect 'precious innocent eyes'.

Seeing as my mother just invested in a screen printing machine, I feel like it'll be a lot easier.

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

Just don't sell anymore...it totally goes against the meaning of kandi (yeah, I'm one of those morons who still believes PLUR and friendship still exist x_x).

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

You...sold kandi? The first 3D you made?

That makes me really sad.

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

I've read the series, and I bash it pretty much daily.

I've said it a million times, and I will say it again: Bella is an empty shell for just about any female to squeeze herself into, so of course it's easy to relate to.
SMeyer shoved those books full of prose more purple than a strangled violet for her own fantasy purposes.

I hate the books, I hate the movies, and I hate the rabid fans who attack others because they DON'T like the books. Plus, the BK Eclipse Game deal, where they brought in Twilight fans for that commercial...I'd rather shoot myself than watch it again, because those girls have fooled themselves into believing that Edward and Jacob are real characters.

Which is completely pathetic.

On the bright side, Twilight will never be remembered like the traditional classics. Twenty years from now, and I'll never hear another thing about it.

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

I'm not sure about a wearable one, since you tie the center shut. Hmm...but I think it's 9 through every fifth or fourth bead. Or seven. x_x You may want to try some trial and error, I forgot how to do the math for that one.

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

I believe that's how I did it!

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

Yes, yes it is.

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

Though I suppose since it's art for the non-artist, it's okay for it to not be original or artistic or creative.

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

T-T That doesn't seem very original or artistic at all...

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

=)
I do think the proposal tattoo is very sweet, and probably a much better thing than getting a name tattooed on you (which I've always thought to be ridiculous and a bad idea, mostly because the majority of people who get names tattooed on them end up splitting up). And the question mark is my favorite.

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

Oh my goodness that is absolutely adorable. Would you consider posting a tutorial?

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

I don't care if he is working on himself, he should be wearing gloves. And working at home is totally unsanitary unless he has a studio attached. >.<

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

These are so much better than a majority of the hoodie-ears I've seen!
Absolutely adorable. I'll probably be doing this sometime. =)

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

I'll post a how-to tomorrow! It probably won't look as nifty for the tutorial though, cause I didn't take pictures while I was going through the process.

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

You're so welcome!
My mom adores rainsticks, so I figured I could try my hand at making one for her some time. ^^

And good luck making kandi! It's actually really fun, and something interesting to do with spare time. =)

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

Apple butter is the most amazing delicious stuff EVER.

And this just sounds amazingly good.

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

Most highlighters actually do glow in blacklight...just depends on what they're on.

And no, it's not toxic. It's like drawing on yourself with a Sharpie. Everyone tells you it's toxic, but it's not. Not unless you pour a bunch of the ink into an open wound, anyways. And you can wash highlighter off really really easily.

Regardless of all that information, I love the tiger-stripes kinda thing you did on your legs, it looks really nifty. ^-^ I may do this for the next rave I go to.

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

I don't care what anyone says, I think these are absolutely awesome.

It's just like using a cloth diaper for a baby (which is just as, if not more, helpful to the environment). Thank you for posting a tutorial!

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

I love stuff like this. You did a lovely job with it. =) The holder for the test tube looks like it should hold it over a bunsen burner...hmm...I may need to get my hands on one of those.

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

Could you maybe possibly post a how to? =)

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

I'd use it as a backback too! That's adorable. =)

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

Oh yeah, I've done that for simple things like links on jewelry, but I can't find wire that's thick enough or the right colors unless I go out of town to another craft store, unfortunately. =/

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

I've tried about eighteen-hundred times. And every time I try it makes me want to strangle myself with my string. It's so frustrating. x_x

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

I'm just wondering where the black dot in the middle of his forehead comes from. xP
Otherwise, he's cute, and I've seen that pattern many a time.

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

This makes both myself and my boyfriend sad. We love comic books, and his favorite is Watchmen. >.<
Next time try photocopying them! It'll save you a comic book. =)

n.a

n.a almost 3 years ago

I know! I've been wanting to try my hand at it for a couple of years, but I've yet to get my hands on any rings. I don't do much online purchasing, and I've only found one kit for making chainmaille. And then I lost the necklace I made from it. >.<

n.a

n.a about 3 years ago

This is absolutely adorable. =)

n.a

n.a about 3 years ago

I never have read it, but I know that it's more of a young-adult series (like Twilight, despite 40-year-old women reading it and then drowning themselves in their love of sparkly vampires and gigantic wolves [read: shapeshifters, not werewolves]), and I just can't get into many young-adult books anymore. Unless they're about drugs (Smack and Crank, for instance) or are incredibly deep (Go Ask Alice and Cut). Or they have to do with Alice in Wonderland.

I prefer Anne Rice's vampire novels and Laurell K. Hamilton. =)

n.a

n.a about 3 years ago

I prefer functional welding goggles (with changeable lenses!) that can be worn as a headband, but this (these? xP) are pretty cute!

Nice job. =)

n.a

n.a about 3 years ago

I understood tiny bit of it, for I took German in high school!

But onto the creation- I love chainmaille, especially earrings, and these are absolutely lovely. Though I think I'd have to go for my favorite colors rather than the US's colors (I don't like blue that much xP).

n.a

n.a about 3 years ago

And a good way to get anger out. I used to stab pillows.

n.a

n.a about 3 years ago

I figured it was one of those that they sell at crafty stores. I still think it's cute. <3

n.a

n.a about 3 years ago

They're pendants, obviously.

n.a

n.a about 3 years ago

No big thing, I love 'em! =)

n.a

n.a about 3 years ago

I love seahorses, and this is absolutely adorable. =)

n.a

n.a about 3 years ago

Yep. Actually I have a 3D star tutorial.

Cute combination idea.

n.a

n.a about 3 years ago

I agree with everyone else asking for a how-to! That is ADORABLE!

n.a

n.a about 3 years ago

I would get that tattooed on me. Most definitely.
That's gorgeous. =)

n.a

n.a about 3 years ago

That's adorable. I just wish it wouldn't look awful on me. =P
But it's a spectacular gift idea for some of the people I know.

n.a

n.a about 3 years ago

Those are adorable. I used to hate Pachirisu, but it's just too cute. It'd be great if you gave us a how to, though! =3

n.a

n.a about 3 years ago

I have a tut for stars- you just have to use more beads for it!

n.a

n.a about 3 years ago

A how-to would be great! I love the jewels/balls/those round red things. Absolutely adorable.

n.a

n.a about 3 years ago

That'd be peyote stitch, right? =) I wish I could make the peyote stitch work.

n.a

n.a about 3 years ago

That's adorable, and you're right...PLUR isn't dead. Not yet. ^^

n.a

n.a about 3 years ago

I hope you post a how to or something. Because that's epic. =)

n.a

n.a about 3 years ago

This is absolutely adorable. =)

n.a

n.a about 3 years ago

You should most definitely post up a how to. That looks great. ^^

n.a

n.a over 3 years ago

I just wanna know how you made the one in picture 12. o.o It's really nifty <3

n.a

n.a over 3 years ago

That's absolutely gorgeous. Very nice. ^^

n.a

n.a over 3 years ago

Actually, the books are written VERY poorly. They are written as if a 13-year-old girl had come up with the idea. But no no, it's a 30-something year old woman. She has no style or true technique to writing. If you find some bad fan-fiction online about vampires and chicks, you're pretty much reading Twilight anyways.

n.a

n.a over 3 years ago

Those are pony beads; trust me, they probably won't sell, as you can buy a big huge bag of them for under $5.

Plus, I make a lot of kandi (using pony beads), and it upsets me when I see it being sold, as it's supposed to represent friendship, not money. So I donno how many people in your area know what kandi is, but you might end up irking a few people.

n.a

n.a over 3 years ago

This is absolutely awesome.

n.a

n.a over 3 years ago

I don't mind at all, just give me credit ^^. And I definitely remember your cult from VF. =)

n.a

n.a over 3 years ago

Not exactly gothic lolita...and definitely not an every day thing. But uhm, nice I guess.

n.a

n.a over 3 years ago

Is there any way you could make this into a how-to? That's really awesome.

n.a

n.a almost 4 years ago

A tutorial would be awesome! =D

n.a

n.a almost 4 years ago

I love you.

I've seen tons and tons and tons of "EDWARD!" shirts here.

But none that proclaim that real vampires don't sparkle, or anything even remotely anti-Twilight.

n.a

n.a almost 4 years ago

Absolutely gorgeous. I must say, I am jealous.

n.a

n.a almost 4 years ago

Quite the awesome jacket. =)

n.a

n.a almost 4 years ago

I <3 bubble tea, so I <3 you and your tutorial by association. =)

n.a

n.a almost 4 years ago

Ooh, your decorating skills are much better than mine, and I did the same thing for the lettering.

n.a

n.a almost 4 years ago

Try Etsy! If you change what you're searching for to 'Supplies', and type in gears, you'll find some pretty cheap destash from people who've taken apart clocks and watches and things!

n.a

n.a almost 4 years ago

These are gorgeous. ^^

n.a

n.a almost 4 years ago

That's really adorable. ^^ I love cherry blossoms myself. Plus, I have a little bitty 'cabinet' that I painted a long time ago; looks like I'll be sanding that down and repainting!

n.a

n.a almost 4 years ago

Hooray for Totoro (and Totoro shirts ^^)!

n.a

n.a almost 4 years ago

I love love love Tamagotchi! This is adorable.

n.a

n.a about 4 years ago

Oh my goodness they're so CUTE!

n.a

n.a about 4 years ago

Ahw, thanks! ^^

n.a

n.a about 4 years ago

Sure! Honestly, I learned from KT, but...

Most of the people on KandiTrade are awfully mean and snippy with kids who're new to making stuff. =/

I'd be happy to do a tutorial for ya!

n.a

n.a about 4 years ago

Ahw, thanks. ^^

n.a

n.a over 4 years ago

WOW.

Geeze...I love Lewis Carrol, but I never really thought to have a little themed tea-party for his birthday...

What an awesome idea. ^^

n.a

You're welcome, and thanks! ^^

n.a

n.a over 4 years ago

I love it. So very awesome. ^^

n.a

These cookies are delicious...my mom makes them for me, I'll be making these for my friends soon. ^-^

n.a

n.a almost 5 years ago

I made earrings out of CDs once...except I never used a microwave, and I used a candle, a pair of normal scissors, and a hammer and thin nail for holes. I never thought to put them in the oven or boil them...that's helpful!

n.a

n.a almost 5 years ago

That is completely awesome. I only just learned a few days ago how to attach them into my hair. ^^

n.a

n.a almost 5 years ago

I love Daft Punk. This is awesome. ^^

n.a

n.a almost 5 years ago

If they happen to sell actual wool roving at your craft store...I'm jealous. Soooo jealous. And..mine smell less like wool, and more like sweat and beer. Wore them to a Mindless Self Indulgence show. Not a good idea. Place was packed FULL, and there's two floors...so I got beer thrown on me.

n.a

n.a about 5 years ago

Aww. It's so adorable! I think I'm going to make one of these for my mother's birthday this weekend. ^^

n.a

n.a about 5 years ago

Yep, I make them as falls rather than extensions because I'm lazy. ^^
