I just want to correct you- they are not called gauges. The gauge is only the size. I assume you're making plugs (and using silicone tunnels for the molds), just be super careful with stuff like that- resin can be incredibly toxic, especially for your ears.
But I really do think that's an AWESOME idea. C: Just be careful.
...Cleaning solvent won't stop an infection if you stick something that dirty in your ear, especially if it's too large and you stretch the hole. You end up with micro-tears in your skin, and...oooh it just makes me shudder. >.< The only way to get something like that sterile is to autoclave it- no amount of boiling or alcohol or bleach is going to sterilize a paperclip.
Yes, it will wash out in the wash- I used to have a pair of jeans that a bunch of my friends had signed with sharpies and the like- I no longer have them because I washed them too frequently.
Hey, just so you know, I saw your comment on the Kool Aid hair dying project, and no, it's actually NOT damaging to your hair. At least, no more than taking a hot shower is.
It's much less damaging than something like bleaching, or even just dying, your hair, plus, it's not a permanent thing (and one other thing, most of the 'weird' dyes for hair are essentially just ink, with no ammonia or seriously damaging chemicals).

I think we're confused because none of these are really crafts. I don't mean to be mean but...they're kinda just things that you can google and then copy/paste onto anything. They're just...not really crafts. Is all. Again, not trying to be mean. Just...confused.
And no, it wasn't the silly stars, those were an incredibly old idea to cover up a scar, and they aren't going to happen. It's not as if that's an incredibly popular project anyways :P. I'm not an idiot, sir or madam, I just know my tattoo artist well. I couldn't have described precisely what I wanted at the time to him, as I wanted a specific design that I ended up drawing out. If a person wants a specific thing on their body, or even have an idea that they want to share with their tattoo artist and let said tattoo artist improve upon it, and they happen to have the capability to draw, why not let them?
Thanks for your thoughts, but they were really rude, and it seems as though you signed up simply to post on that.
It's...got two elements directly taken from Emilie Autumn's usual makeup style. The lips and the heart below the eye (though I've never seen anybody pull it off well but her).
The colors don't look too great all together. =/ Sorry.
Haha, it sounds like you mixed up the two words "riff raff" and "bric-a-brac" a little...rick rack is "a flat narrow braid woven in zig zag form".
Though I do really like this idea! It's very cute, especially if you're like me and you end up with tons of miscellaneous things that don't match anything else.
Actually yes! Yes I was. I read the first few Anita Blake books before I read Twilight.
I've actually seen stickers that say "Anita Does It Better", and they make me happy. :3
You misspelled 'gypsy'...but I do love the idea! I remember wearing necklaces on my head when I was young, because I didn't know how to clasp them around my neck. So I just wore them around on my head.
But now I have to find a necklace similar to that. =)
Just don't sell anymore...it totally goes against the meaning of kandi (yeah, I'm one of those morons who still believes PLUR and friendship still exist x_x).
I've read the series, and I bash it pretty much daily.
I've said it a million times, and I will say it again: Bella is an empty shell for just about any female to squeeze herself into, so of course it's easy to relate to.
SMeyer shoved those books full of prose more purple than a strangled violet for her own fantasy purposes.
I hate the books, I hate the movies, and I hate the rabid fans who attack others because they DON'T like the books. Plus, the BK Eclipse Game deal, where they brought in Twilight fans for that commercial...I'd rather shoot myself than watch it again, because those girls have fooled themselves into believing that Edward and Jacob are real characters.
Which is completely pathetic.
On the bright side, Twilight will never be remembered like the traditional classics. Twenty years from now, and I'll never hear another thing about it.
I'm not sure about a wearable one, since you tie the center shut. Hmm...but I think it's 9 through every fifth or fourth bead. Or seven. x_x You may want to try some trial and error, I forgot how to do the math for that one.
=)
I do think the proposal tattoo is very sweet, and probably a much better thing than getting a name tattooed on you (which I've always thought to be ridiculous and a bad idea, mostly because the majority of people who get names tattooed on them end up splitting up). And the question mark is my favorite.
I'll post a how-to tomorrow! It probably won't look as nifty for the tutorial though, cause I didn't take pictures while I was going through the process.
Most highlighters actually do glow in blacklight...just depends on what they're on.
And no, it's not toxic. It's like drawing on yourself with a Sharpie. Everyone tells you it's toxic, but it's not. Not unless you pour a bunch of the ink into an open wound, anyways. And you can wash highlighter off really really easily.
Regardless of all that information, I love the tiger-stripes kinda thing you did on your legs, it looks really nifty. ^-^ I may do this for the next rave I go to.
I love stuff like this. You did a lovely job with it. =) The holder for the test tube looks like it should hold it over a bunsen burner...hmm...I may need to get my hands on one of those.
Oh yeah, I've done that for simple things like links on jewelry, but I can't find wire that's thick enough or the right colors unless I go out of town to another craft store, unfortunately. =/
This makes both myself and my boyfriend sad. We love comic books, and his favorite is Watchmen. >.<
Next time try photocopying them! It'll save you a comic book. =)
I know! I've been wanting to try my hand at it for a couple of years, but I've yet to get my hands on any rings. I don't do much online purchasing, and I've only found one kit for making chainmaille. And then I lost the necklace I made from it. >.<

n.a almost 3 years ago
Ahw, thanks. =3 It does take patience, but just try it some time! It's easy to pick up and put down whenever you want.

I'll actually probably end up making a simple one for the sake of not being harassed by parents who want to protect 'precious innocent eyes'.
