Hi, Good morning to ya, I'm responding to your questions on my rag rug . yes. I used a plastic crochet needle the biggest I have its either a P or Q in size and my strips well that all depends on the size of the t-shirt by starting at the bottom and working my way around the t-shirt to the top at about 2 inches wide.
