Aw, thanks so much! So glad you like them! I want wait to see the stuff you come up with! Good luck reading the host. It took me a while to actually get started reading it. But once I hit chapter 9, I couldn't put it down, and sacrificed sleep for two nights to finish the book.
Hi, Sorry for taking so long to respond to your comment! I always forget to check them. I'm from the Santa Cruz area originally.I love Gone With the Wind. I read the book a few years ago, there are so many details that didn't make it into the movie...the characters are so classic. Breaking Dawn totally shocked me, I had all these theories about what would happen, but like most fans, I didn't anticipate Renessme at ALL. She pretty much took over the plot of the book. I also was hoping for an epic battle with the Volturi. Alas. Its a great relief that Bella is finally a vampire though. What did you think?
Hey thanks for the comment! Nope, I didn't make the wings - i would have no clue how to even start! This sounds pretty random, but have you heard of Fernworks? My cousin is an artist - Faryn Davis, and she used to live in Seattle. I think her artwork was being showcased there recently. Anywho - it's nice to meet you! :)
Haha Yes that is one of the reasons she is called Tara :) It was between Willow and Tara. Seeing as I am Irish and away from home, we decided on Tara :D
Are you a fan yourself?
It's hard to learn if you don't have a really patient teacher, it took me a little while. I was asking because I was looking for someone to knit with, and was wondering if you went to a group or something. I always feel so much more inspired when I'm around other people that are crafting. If you ever want to learn I'm more than happy to teach you. I've taught a few people before and find it quite fun. Like I said I'm always looking for new people to knit with. What kind of crafts do you do now?
Lol, not in art school yet, hope to be getting into RI school of design or Cornish when I graduate. My counselors and teachers have been all telling me I'll need a pretty hardcore portfolio to get into the places I want to.
As far as knitting goes, it took me forever to learn how to do it xD Books never help, and it took a summer of me with my grandma and a tangled mess of yarn before I could make something that remotely resembled a square
I really like doing things with knitting, paper mache, collages, and other inspired by the moment sort of projects. On a more regular basis I draw and paint, but that's more for my art school portfolio xD
Other than that I like wandering around Pike Place Market, whole lot of fun to see stuff there and get ideas.
I was living in Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor. I was only there for a year finishing up my BFA. I moved here in August. That's crazy that you were there and moved the same time... why did you come out to Seattle?
Oooo a Brian Froud fan ace :D I got his new book for my birthday and even though it came off a website it was signed!!! Need to have a proper look through it yet though and my birthday was in December!
Thanks for the comment on the russain dolls all credit is due to Aimee Ray: www.dreamfollow.com, I feel like I should stress that it was all from some she had made I'd feel mad getting all the credit!!
Will do. Yes our Tara is the center of attention too, if she's not, she damn well does something to bring all eyes to her haha Her favourite thing to do is run across the laptop or the desktops keyboard. cheeky kitty :)
Nice to meet you as well xD Glad you agree with my poor pushed eggman theory, it's surprisingly hard to find sympathizers.
I have to admit I've never heard of quilling before, and it looks pretty awesome ^^ how long have you been at it?
I think if we got another animal our kitty would go loopy, she likes her space haha She doesn't even like it when the neighbourhood cats sit on "her" window sill lol
Yes I remember the story being about kids locked up. I will keep an eye out for it at the flea market soon.
Hi, nice to meet you too :)
Damien is great isn't he. Would love to see him in concert.
Flowers in the Attic, I remember my cousin read that when we were 8 and she was scarred by it! I haven't thought about it in years, is it worth a read?
What's your kittie and rabbits names?
