I think with felt, because the scissors are so small they would just rip. Also, when washing your hands you would get it wet and it would go yucky. But you can always try! Maybe if you had an idea how to strengthen and protect it - good luck x
Oh yes I hadn't thought about it that way, it was meant to be more frankenstein-y. Hopefully having fun with a nice hobby like crafting will prevent some teens from hurting themselves like that?
Arianna - Yeah you could definitely do that. I actually ended up painting over mine in gold paint because I didn't really like how the gold leaf was kind of wrinkly on the unicorn head, and afterwards thought it looked much better. I originally used gold leaf because I wanted it to be quite bright, but it really doesn't matter.
Sammi - Um yeah I guess you could try! Depends how good you are at shaping aluminium foil o how it turns out. If you did you would probably want to paper-mache it or something to make it smoother. I used an actual plastic horse because I wanted it to be already perfectly shaped so that I wouldn't have to agonise over a little piece of fimo (or foil!) which I know wouldn't turn out like I wanted. Good Luck!
Thank you everyone! Linsey - Sorry I didn't measure the water! If you just slowly add it a tablespoon at a time until it is like bread dough it will be perfect.
Hey,
All the projects your doing at the moment sound great! I don't know how you are making recycled glass curtains but it sounds complicated :P and really cool! I hope you have a better day tomorrow also! I will search around my house for some things I can recycle for crafting but I'm quite busy nowadays! On tuesday evenings I have a painting lesson at the art academy, on wednesdays I help out at my local brownies, on Thursdays it is always my turn to walk the dog (I usually take him on a big walk round Greenwich park) And on friday I'm always too tired to do anything! this leaves all my homework to the weekend! But I am just complaining and being lazy, if I stopped whining and worked faster I would have more time! My holidays start on July 14th, I am very excited and hope we have good weather.
Good luck with all your crafting xxx Mary
Hi!
My exams are over and I can do all the crafting I want! Although I do not have the materials for lots of projects - and my mum doesn't like it when I go and spend her money buying materials to make things! Oh well, I'm sure I'll find something. I wish I could stay at home and be lazy and do crafting all the time but I have to go to school :/ I can't wait for the holidays though! Have a lovely sunday and keep on crafting! xxx Mary
Hi!
Sorry I didn't reply to your comment, I haven't been on this website for a while now! I LOVE dollhouses, when I was younger my parents bought me and my sister a big dollhouse with electric lights, we played with it all the time, but now it is in my little sisters room and the lights do not work anymore :'( . My friend has a dollhouse with loads of tiny furniture and things which I am jealous of ;)
I only have 1 more exam to go! YAY! and I have got back some of the results of my other exams that I did in school, I am pleased with my results (in most subjects!) but some of the results I will have to wait till August!
Keep on crafting! Mary xoxo
Hi Jet!
I would like to make versions of your projects - I need to get lots of materials though, and I need the time! But I plan to do a lot of crafting over the holidays when I don't have to revise for exams! xxx
I get my shrink plastic from amazon.co.uk because I've never seen it in shops around where I live. To those who do not know what it is : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shrinky_Dinks
Thank you! I love ALL your projects and would like to make them, but I have exams at the moment and never have enough time! Hope fully I will make some in the holidays x Mary

Can you reuse the freezer paper to make a couple of t shirts with the same design? If so how many times would you guess? Thank you, nice tutorial.
