Thanks for your interest! I've had a lot of computer problems & crashes in the past year, so the tutorial is still "in the works" :( Plus the full-time job & mommy duties take priority---hopefully I'll be posting it sometime in the next few months!
thanks so much for the lovely comment! I need to still get a fastener for the button, but my sewing machine (a Sew Janome Petite) is too small and I need a "full size" machine! That, and I'm teaching myself to sew, so it's slow going :)
this is beautiful :) Do you sell a type of bag like this, or would you consider customizing one? Thanks for sharing! If you are interested, my email is tamerut@gmail.com
I found the colour to be more of a light brown, not really dark at all---the chocolates were dark though, but that didn't transfer itself really to the overall colour, just the flavour. Hope that helps :) Tame
I always make them and they end up doughy (which is how I like them!). My husband loves them, but he would rather have them flat like a pancake (or flatter), so I usually try to compromise by making several batches :) Thanks for trying it out!
WOW! Thanks so much for the great translation :) Of course, I didn't even bother to think that my language could be universal, lol! Sorry if I caused a bit of confusion---I wanted to take a picture of the bag, but my husband ate up the entire bag as soon as I got my few kisses into the pan! Thanks for the awesome comment :) Tame
Hello :) I used the beer because it tastes more "yeasty" to me, and I LOVE bread (especially when it's rising in the oven!) I'm not much of a drinker (and can't really tolerate liquors such as scotch or whiskey or rum), and I like the smell of beer, so I decided to try it! Thanks for the question :) Tame
As to the substitute question, I'm experimenting with other items, such as maple syrup & honey (I know the honey one is good, I'll get back to you on the maple syrup). If you substitute about 1/2 cup of syrup or the same amount for the honey, that would probably work! I'll definitely get back to you on that one!
chocolate kisses? hmmm, think of the chocolate drops one would receive in a package for Valentines' Day or in a cup as a small present! Small triangle with a pointed top :)
thank you very much for being so sweet! I just LOVE these :) My husband thinks I'm a bit nuts when I make a bunch and put them in my handbag for meals and snacks :)
wow, thank you for your kind words :) I would have used syrup or cocoa powder (which you can use in place of the kisses), but I didn't find either of those until after I was already done! hehehe---oh well :) Keeps temptation out of the cupboard for me ;) Tame
Thanks again for the comment! Just wanted to let anyone else that's interested know that it left my skin super soft :) So soft in fact that my hubby can't stop touching it! It's still a bit runny, so I'm going to keep working on the consistency :)

I agree---I think the bread works best with a lager or dark beer, and a little less water :) The more beer, the better!!

I'm so glad people love this bread :) I can't wait to cook it again! We're moving, so that'll be the first *home cooked* meal in our new house!

do you ever sell these wallets as a custom item in your dawanda shop? The pattern isn't available right now in your shop :(
