About

My name is Christy, and I am a native Montanan and drive an 18-wheeler 8 months out of the year. The other 4 months are spent in my studio, doing what I love to do, which is creating wonderful pieces of jewelry. I like to think of myself as a creative soul who blends my joy of life with my joy of jewelry making. Most of my inspiration is drawn from the nature that surrounds me.

I have always had my hand doing some kind of artisan work. I enjoy knitting, crocheting, stamping and jewelry. When I started exploring beadwork I got hooked instantly. Recently, I have taken some college classes to further my knowledge in Metalsmithing.

I have finally found my niche. I love to create a wonderful piece of jewelry out of a blank sheet of metal or by casting into strawbroom and cuttlebone. Lately I have been casting from natural materials, such as potpourri or findings from the forest floor. I particularly enjoy these processes, as neither of them will produce the same piece of jewelry. They are truly a one-of-a-kind creations.
