Oh whooops you meant the jumper. Haha. I should have read other comments first.

For the japanese dress? You are supposed to gather the skirt I think and then even out the pleats and sew together. Thus, it is not going to line up perfectly. They designed it so the skirt is much bigger than the waistline. Run a large running stitch through your skirt, about 1/2" down from the waist. Cut the treads at various intervals and pull them to gather the skirt. Tie ends to hold them in place. Gather the skirt until it fits with the waist band. Sew in place with 5/8" allowance. Hope this helps! =]

on my shirt i only made the black t-shirt
that was just the only picture i had. Hoods are rather complicated i sudjest looking up something on google i made one for a gir jacket once and it was extreamly annoying
