Well, I'm majorly beginner. And my sewing machine is probably over 40 years old because my mother bought it for me in a yard sale for $10 and the woman said it had been her's for her whole life (and yet it is still my baby). I also have a habit of not completing projects that take to long, of working for hours on the ones I get caught up in and of waiting too long to make projects for people to the point that I have to actually spend money. 
Currently, I have no idea where anything in my house is, or even if my sewing machine has recovered from the last time my mother let the girl scouts use it, but we'll see. Might as well make an adventure out all the new projects I get to try.
