hey! tried this, sorta...don't have a fine enough blade on my jigsaw and I can't find my coping saw, BUT, my son has a little craft saw so I cut out shapes big enough to make rings! and it worked! the biggest problem is that you need to use pliers to hold them into the water. this makes a dent, but if you centre it you can glue the 'jewel' right over it! or I could glue the jewel, if my darn contact cement hadn't turned nasty and unusable...
the saddest part is that not only did it take me forever to write down all the crap I had, but I put it all (including the garbage) right back in it...wow. lol.
