About

I am currently working on a zine called, "Debauchery." I've got a myspace page for it, so if you're interested, just click on the link above.
~
I am also trying to learn about basic glass blowing, and welding, as well as acquiring some light electrician knowledge.
~
I love cooking. I will cook for anyone who appreciates a home cooked meal. My specialty is pork chops, homemade applesauce and garlic mashed potatoes with caramelized onions and sautéed potatoes.
~
I am obsessed with making portraits. Acrylic is my medium of choice, but also have a tendency to stray into charcoal, pen and ink. My artistic style of which has been dubbed, "post-pop expressionist." Kind of a mouthful, and rather funny sounding, but it really describes it well.
~
I love crafting. It's art with functionality. There's nothing better than being able to claim your hobby is not only practical, but benefits the culture of our society.

Note to myself

1. Attempt what is not certain. Certainty may or may not come later. It may then be a valuable delusion.

2. The pretty, initial position which falls short of completeness is not to be valued---except as a stimulus for further moves.

3. Do search. But in order to find other than what is searched for.

4. Use and respond to the initial fresh qualities but consider them absolutely expendable.

5. Don't "discover" a subject---of any kind.

6. Somehow don't be bored---but if you must, use it in action. Use its destructive potential.

7. Mistakes can't be erased, but they move you from your present position.

8. Keep thinking about Polyanna.

9. Tolerate chaos.

10. Be careful only in a perverse way.

That is such a cool idea! I'm sure she loved the earrings :-) Very personalized. I love those types of gifts. One of the great things about diy.
