I have a very romantic vintage style, almost neo-Victorian. I like fitted silhouettes in muted colors with touches of texture. I am a big fan of velvet and lace accents, metal or pearl buttons, and the like. I try to add color and variety in my accessories, that way my wardrobe goes a lot farther on my budget. I also like "tough girl" in a soft look, like leather boots with a lace top top.
Wow, totally missed this whole conversation! lol. Well to trow in my own piece, the reason I made these is really because my job wouldn't allow me to have any visible body mods, so I had to let all my other piercing closed. I had a paid internship as a public educator so I was working with a lot of day camps and church groups, which meant small children and seniors. Besides that, I make a lot of my own jewelry and I didn't want to stop wearing all of the earrings I had made because I wanted my ears gauged. I know a lot of younger girls do this, and it can be kind of annoying but I honestly don't think anyone has the right to say what's okay for a group they're not a part of. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I was under the assumption that this site was about sharing you're individual sense style. Chances are, you're not going to like everything. If you don't like it, move on not leave catty comments on people's projects. Insulting someone's work is infinitely more immature. However, if that's your progitive, go for it. It's none of my business, just my opinion.
Thanks! It's such a great movie. I wish I had better pictures of the skirt. The whole train was shredded. I wish I could have done more with the top but it was so cold out that night and I knew I would be all over campus that I decide I was taking warmth over realism. Thanks again!
No problem! You're cheers bracelet is adorable! And thanks for the well-wishes! I'm sure I'll have a great time! talk to you soon and have a great week!

Love the look. I'm thinking of doing it to my own hair. How do you get them out and does it damage your hair?
