You can cut me out and paint me on paper, another paper dolly to sit atop your shelf; make me a brother of great literature, of filled sketchbooks and notebooks and loose leaves of paper, of trinkets and dusty crafts, the finished and not-so-finished alike. I can be just like that cut out, all for you to keep; just some eyes taking in all your spells of creativity.
