Hi! My name is Alyssa. I'm 19 and in my third semester of college.

I make films and videos, I am an avid writer, and I shoot photography (poorly). Occasionally I knit and crochet (but I'm terrible at it). One day I hope to be good enough to make a chevron scarf. They're so beautiful!

I love anything that is secret, surrealist, or sleep-related. But mainly the secret stuff. =D I want to work on a project that incorporates secrets. PostSecret is a BIG inspiration.

I have a 1952 16mm Bolex I've dubbed Herkemer. Dreams are fun to interpret (I'm kind of obsessed with it). I am working on my first novel and feature-film-length screenplay.

I try to be open to all kinds of music and styles because I love the way inspiration feels when it hits me. I have this crazy attraction to all sorts of styles, so picking one fashion overall is impossible. I am not ashamed to buy bargain brand, secondhand, or thrift.

I will diss things (like Uggs) and dig things (like knock-offs from NYC) but not until after I've tried it on or done it.

True Fact: Uggs are ugly, but the knit ones are COMFY!

I love people and all their imperfections, and I believe food is a good way to shove imperfections to the side. Cooking is one of my favorite hobbies!

When my mom goes to sleep, I watch old movies and play table hockey with my dad.

I can somewhat play the Ocarina (like Link? That kind of ocarina). Tennis is my favorite sport. I love to dye and cut my hair, but I often like keeping it my natural dark brown even more.

I don't really have a "favorite" anything: color, food, designer, craft, etc...
