Thanks for faving my necklace
Thanks for the fave.
Perfect timing, I have washers sitting in my beading box. I only bought them cos I remember seeing a project online but forgot the name of the site.
I like your version, so will definitely be putting the washers to good use afterall. Thanks for sharing.
I am so making this bracelet to wear on my next night out. My friends are going to be so jealous.
Thanks for sharing.
As a massive fan of Macrame, I really like this necklace, especially the gaps in between the knots and the beads.
I am so loving this project, however, I don't where to get the beads. I am not sure if we have 'iron beads' in the UK. If anyone knows where I can them please let me know.
Great project and thanks for sharing.
Funny, I saw a fabric necklace in a clothes shop on my lunch break but it doesn't compare to yours at all.
Your design is more glam and elegant, will definitely be a show stopper, I lover it!
Thanks for sharing.
Now I know why Beading Gem recommended your tutorial. You really took time to explain, I love how you use pics at every step.
I am going to try and make a couple for my nieces. Thanks for sharing this beautiful tutorial.
Gorgeous!! This design seems to be the trend at the moment, I am definitely going to make one for myself, not sure if I will have it for long. My friends may take it off me, Lol!
Thanks for fave on my jump rings. I hope you achieve your dreams, you can definitely do both if you put your mind to it.
Very good attempt. I am thinking of making this to wear to my friend's wedding. I will probably use silver chain, I will lay out the black & gold chains then decide which ones go with the beads.
Thanks for the fave re: knotted set.
This is so cool, really informative. Thanks for taking time to write this.
thx 4 the fave
Thanks for your comment. I will dig out some of my gizmo projects and post it here or send you a link when I am free.
Cute baby by the way, and you look beautiful in your dress.
Well done. The wire stuff is called eye pins and the beads you used just plain bronze beads. Silver can also be used or seed beads.
Execellent tut, you should be proud.
Good tut, the silver things are called eye pins, also ideal for dangles or linking in bracelets or necklaces.
Thanks to everyone who faved this tut. I am really encouraged and will be posting more tuts in future, that is if you don't get too tired ...., LOL.
Seriously, this is the best craft site ever, I've never come across so many talented people in my life.
PS: I love the cookery tuts too.
Very pretty, I like elastic rings, they are so easy to make and look gorgeous when worn.
Thanks for taking time to share the tut.
Very nice tut.
Thanks for the fave and welcome. You will really love it here, I promise you.
thx 4 the fave.
There are so many ways of making jump rings but I am not keen on anything to do with drills. Although, I do use a drill for twisted wire only because it is quicker!!
Wow, this is so gorgeous. Perfect for a very special ocassion, I am going to make this for one of the weddings I am going to this summer.
I am not sure I can repeat this, the design was on impulse, sorry.
Very mouth watering, my saliva just went!! Very good step by step instructions.
Looks like this British girl will be trying (and tasting)her first Pumpkin pie after all.
I didn't realise it was this easy to make Pumpkin pie. I have heard so much about this (I'm British) pie,I am going to give this a go.
I will invite friends over to celebrate our first taste of Pumpkin pie!!
I love the combination, very cute!!
Very nice, I love hemp jewellery. And you are right they never go out of style, just perfect for everyday wear.
Unfortunately, it is not really catching on here in the UK but I don't care, I wear my designs all the time!
Thanks for the fave
Very nice, no one is going to know any different. However, I am not sure if I want to pick up something on the ground.
I hope you enjoy wearing it.
Love the spirals you incorporated into the necklace, stunning. Well done!!
What a beautiful tutorial and I love the way you displaced the bracelets on your hand, makes me want to make loads. No doubt your friends will want to take them off you, LOL
Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing.
I am always looking for new reciepes and this fits jsut what I want. I am going to try it, it looks so yummy.
Thank you for sharing.
What a cool project, it is so ideal as a pressie. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the fave. So glad to finally have a Welsh person on here. I so love the accent and plan to go Wales on holiday in the next year or so. Preferably in the summer, I don't cold that well, but then lots of Londoners don't! LOL
I like them all. I am a sucker for rings, thanks for posting, looking forward to your How to.
Believe me you are super talented. Making rings is hard work, I am still learning but I am determined to continue as I want to start making rings to match my pieces and outfits. Will post on this site once I get round to it.
Not good! I beg to defer, this blooming gorgeous. I will gladly take that off you if I was to meet you in person.
You are more talented than yu can imagine, working with chain means you have 'arrived'. Look forward to seeing more of your work.
Looks like it was worth it, very done. It turned to be very beautiful indeed.
Very pretty, I love macrame.
Thanks for sharing
This is very beautiful, no doubt your friend will be very pleased.
Welcome on board, Sophie. You are going to have loads of fun, there are so many talented people on this site. And friendly too.
Stunning earrings. What kind of wire bead did you use?
Thanks for faving my Flower jewellery design
Thanks for the fave. Little Miss Sunshine is my fave film too, so, so funny.
Nice doodle. Keep up the good work.
Very stunning necklace, I will definitely make one.
Lovely necklace. Can you or anyone publish tutorial for Chinese button knot cos I really don't understand it from the book I have got. There are no step by step pictures or clear instructions. Will really appreciate it.
Cool necklace, great idea for a christmas pressie. I love the colour combo, keep up the good work, you definitely have a way with colours.
I really love the way you made this necklace so stylish. Adding a thread and clasp definitely makes it very classy, I am sure you will be the envy of your friends!
It's a shame you don't have it anymore. You could think of it as trial by error, try a different technique. I tried incorporating chip beads in mine but it came off!! But I am going to re-string. The matching bracelet is ok but it doesn't show the buttons! I will try again which means you can't give up either, LOL.
Very lovely bracelets, not sure if I have got the patience.
Very good attempt, beautiful bracelet, love the combination. Accessorize uses low quality beads & sells its jewellery at such high prices. Handmade jewellery is definitely the best cos you get the best quality beads, you also design according to your own style.
Very pretty, made similar (minus the spiral) for my sisters this summer. Maybe I should make mine & wear to work too
I have been looking for ideas on a woody bead bracelet for a while now. I have similar beads in biege & red. They have been sitting at the bottom of my beading box for about a year so.
Thank for posting this, I am going to use the beads to make a bracelet after all.
Very pretty, for a first tutorial you have done a fab job, very clear instructions & pictures.
Thanks for sharing. I look forward to seeing more of your work.
Looks like the zipper may be the new fashion accessory. There is a similar project in one of my beading magazines. But I like this one better, in that you cut all the fabric off, it looks neater not tacky! Will definitely be trying this.
To make it more secure, add a dab of jewellery glue (don't cut of the ends), leave to dry overnight, then cut the ends off, you are ready to wear.
Gorgeous, I love working with copper.
Very lovely nice.
What a great idea - sketching. Love the necklace, it is so good when you can actually make your own, saves a lot of money.
Very blury, greet idea tho.
RE: Summer of love necklace.
I used 3 different techniques.
Square, spiral & overhand knots. You can check out instructions on You-Tube under macrame or go to do a web site. However, I will recommend Beadabout.com, you can get loads of projects
Very cool earrings.
Oops, I have beaten to it, was going to shop for more buttons but I have been so busy. I was going to make similar necklace, I will still go ahead but may try tiger or nylon wire instead.
Well done for taking time to do a step by step tutorial.
I painted mine following a tutorial I found on You tube but they looked so hideous, I have put them away until I can think of what do with them. I was planning to make a necklace incorporated with seed beads, if I do change my my mind I may post here.
What a stunning necklace, the type I will wear on holiday. I really like the colour combo, this site is full of so many talented people. Keep up the good work everyone.
I love this. It must be a sign, I've just finished cleaning the bottle caps I collected. I'm going to get off my back side and go punch/flatten them. Got ideas for a necklace, watch this space.
Thanks for sharing tut on this very beautiful necklace, I love working with wool balls and recently got into recyling stuff.
What a clever idea! Well done and thanks for sharing.
Very good attempt for someone who is new to jewellery making. You can findings known as calotte (also as clam shells, I will be more than happy to provide instructions if you wish. Just let me know.
Thanks again for sharing, I think you will go very far, keep it up!!
Very nice, I am in the process of making (once I get round to flattening the caps)a similar necklace but will be using the bottle caps from beer, etc.
I totally love your version. Who would have thought one could a folding crimp for a mobile charm.
Thanks a lot for sharing, you are an inspiration!!
This project was published in Make Jewellery magazine. I am glad you illustrated it much better.
Gorgeous, I may try it with the loads of bottle caps I have stashed away.
Sorry but the boobs caught my attention before the necklace. And I'm not into women or a guy, nice necklace though. Word of advice take the picture on a bust, lay out a cloth, sheet or towel next time
Ditto to wood. Lovely bracelet, I love macrame.
It shows, lovely bracelets.
For a beginner you have done really well. I am more into wire than stringing so keep at it, you will find yourself making wonderful designs.
I love working with spirals, I've used it with all types expect fone charms, this is such a cool ideal. I've got loads of coloured wire, great gift ideas. Thanks for sharing this, it is absolutely stunning!
Well done London Roller girls. You make me proud to be a Londoner.
I love this but what is a 100 calorie (I am British) box?
Wot a very brill idea. Now I wish I hadn't thrown out all those tabs, I think I will mix mine with bottle caps. Will post once I have collected a few. Thanks for sharing.
Lampworks are so wonderful to work with, I can't get enough of them, keep up the good work.
You are so talented, very inspiring, I love this site, so many wonderful people & projects!!
I made a similar pair but took it apart, now I wish I hadn't. I have green beads as well, I will make my version & post it.
Beautiful use of fabric, made a similar one but it was a bracelet made with felt, sparkley & shop bought crochet beads. I will post my version later. Thanks later.
Lovely ring, thx 4 recommendation on book. I have got 2 useless book on beadweaving, the instructions are so unclear which is frustrating & a waste of money for me. May order book from Amazon.
Stunning earrings. All I need now is a bread roll, add brown sauce & I have got a delicious bacon buttie washed down with a cuppa!
This is so yummy, I think I am going to eat some sweets after this. Absolutely fabulous!!
I love using spirals in my designs but have not found any for a ring until now. Don't say not professional, pens, big blusher brushes are recommended as an alternative to ring mandrels why waste money. I love this ring, I will make it to wear to a birthday party next month. Keep up the good work!!
This is so gorgeous. You can sell this for a very good price
You are so smart, keep the ideas coming. Looks like I am going to be in DIY shops a lot.
Gr8 idea, my earrings are in a jewellery box where it gets tangled all the time. I'm definitely going 2 make this one, thanks for sharing.
I actually made this pattern last summer, using brown wire with light brown oval beads. Yes the Jig is addictive, I have just finished making 5 different styles. I will post instructions at some point.
Very nice, keep it up.
