How did you find CO+K and why did you join?

I'm not sure how I first stumbled upon CO+K, but I was immediately down the rabbit hole of fantastic projects. I love the diversity!!!

What projects are you currently working on?

I am prepping to teach online in March (exciting and scary), hopefully working on a new book in 2015.

What does your craft space look like?

I work out of half of our basement. It's finished and all white (I need it as bright as it can be, there's not much natural light). I recently did a major clean out and repaint, so it feels really fresh in here again.

Which tool or craft supply do you use the most?

Rotary cutters, both for fabric and for paper. Too much cutting with scissors seems to make my wrist angry these days, but the rotary cutter is no problem at all.

What do you craft along to?

I'm in love with the new podcast Serial, as well as This American Life, the While She Naps Podcast, and After The Jump. When I feel my energy getting low in the afternoon, I love to crank up old R&B!

Favorite Craft

My favorite creative pastime would have to be quilt making. But because those tend to be fairly time-consuming projects, I also love to creatively reuse and DIY things from the thrift store for our home.

Blair's Top Crafts

If you could learn one new craft or make anything, what would it be?

Fabric pattern design. It's mysterious and beautiful. I'm just beginning to learn and I have a long way to go, but I'd love to do it one day.

Who are your crafting heroes?

Denyse Schmidt, artist Alisa Burke
